Summer Pov:

I managed to get pretty far away, staying would've had an encounter. This brings a very big problem, cameras can record my face.

'Chances are, if a camera found me, Ozpin is can see me as well. Creep.'

I walked north to a shop that I had passed. I knew that it sold masks. As I was walking towards the store I heard a familiar high pitched voice.

"Mom!"

'Crap, how did she find me?! They must of skipped a couple places.'

I immediately started to run, and Ruby started chasing. We ran past many stores from weapons stores, to bars, to clothing stores. We passed by many alleyways, Ruby had to use her semblance to catch up. I contemplated weather or not to turn but decided against it.

'Gotta lose her!'

Looking around, I found a dumpster close to a balcony that could lead to a roof.

'But how to distract ruby?'

I found a crowd surrounding a bookstore.

'Bingo!'

I ran into the crowd and quickly took off my hood. I made sure to be constantly moving away when I feel the crowd move. I made sure to wait a couple minutes before putting my hood back on, and started to run towards the dumpster.

I got on top of the the dumpster, jumped onto the side rails and climbed up. I got on top of the railings and managed to climb on top of the roof.

'Finally!'

I noticed that I was crying.

'Why am I crying? Is Summer affecting me? Never mind, worry later, run now.'

Time skip

I was sitting on my couch in an apartment.

'I need to get my mind off things. I'm not sure I can camp without Grimm interruptions. Though patch has less Grimm, yeah let's go there.'

I always camped to get my mind off things, I often did it with my dad, he introduced me to camping and I loved it ever since. I opened my scroll and bought tickets to patch. I already had camping gear because I had a job that needed me to camp.

Summer Pov

I finished setting up the tent and sat in front for the fire. I opened the bag next to me and took out graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. I grabbed a chopstick and placed the marshmallow on it. I watched as the marshmallow started to burn and melt. I placed the marshmallow on the graham cracker and place the other two ingredients on top. As I was about to take a bite, I saw the same raven when started, watching me.

'Of course Raven would be watching. Though, is she going to confront me? If so, I could say I don't remember. But would she believe me? I remember the place so if she asks, I can respond.'

I make sure to not look at her. So all I have to do was wait.

Mini time skip

The stars were bright, and I stared in awe.

'Wow, it's been a while since I'd seen a view like this.'

I had been camping without any interruption. I started to think that the Raven watching me was just a raven as all it did was watch me.

Though I was enjoying camping, I couldn't stop thinking about Ruby.

'I kinda feel bad, but I hope she'll understand. Though, when will she actually find me? I know going to beacon is out of the question as I might run into Cinder and her crew. But if I wait, Yang might be angry that I just pop up after missing for years. Eh, I'll just think about it later.'

I stood up and went in my tent.
