In response to Veers' question: Mothra and Battra are undergoing sexual changes, so even though one is female and the other is male, they actually look like they're the reverse: Mothra is yellow and looks like Battra, and Battra is green and looks like Mothra.

Chapter II
The crystalline object neared the exosphere of planet Earth. The friction was starting to build up as the meteor-like object hurtled into the atmosphere with three times the speed of a bullet.
Inside the crystals was a creature that was native to Earth. However, years of genetic modification had transformed the reptilian beast into a monster of pure energy.
As the resistance built up, the crystals surrounding it's body began to crack and fall away. These enormous shards fell away and flew to other parts of the world, seemingly with minds of their own.
A green shard landed in Osaka, Japan, where it released a deadly green gas that began to suffocate everyone, and those that survived would feel the effects shortly after.
A red shard fell in Las Vegas, Nevada, and transformed the entire city into a lifeless desert.
Another red shard landed near Mt. Saint Helens, causing it to explode thunderously. The lava flowed to the ocean, and the ash hung low over the city of Seattle.
A green shard landed near San Francisco, California, triggering record-breaking earthquakes.
Several shards of various colors landed in New York City, New York, where storms and tsunamis destroyed more than half of the city.
A blue shard landed in Sydney, Australia, triggering a massive change in temperature and covering the entire city in three feet of snow.
A black shard landed in London, England, causing the majority of the city to suddenly rise from the Earth, before falling back into the ground.
A white shard fell in Los Angeles, California, where the sky became flooded with dark storms and deadly lightning.
The shard storm in New York carried on into Boston, Massachusetts, and unleashed a super-sized hailstorm that crushed cars with ease.
A white shard fell in Tokyo, Japan, causing deadly electrical storms and triggering massive tsunamis that flooded the entire city.
A green shard landed in Paris, France, and triggered a growth spurt of enormous rose bushes.
A large black shard landed in Cairo, Egypt, and carried the city into the upper atmosphere, before the energy ran out and the city crashed back into the ground with an enormous tremor.
A yellow shard ended up in Bangkok, Thailand, where the pure energy in the crystal created a storm of electricity.
Finally, the main piece that carried the monster landed in Tibet. The size of the crystal created a crater the size of a small city. Before long, the ground began to tremble.
From the nearby mountains, two massive serpent dragons freed themselves from their granite burrows. One was red like rubies, with an underbelly like gold, while his brother was the reverse, with a gold body and red underbelly. These Titans were the guardians of Tibet, known as Dalai and Panchen.
The dragons slithered down the mountains and up to the massive crystal that landed in their territory. Dalai flicked his tongue at it, sensing the extraterrestrial nature of the crystals, while Panchen peered inside with his powerful eyesight.
Suddenly, the crystal opened up to reveal a strange beast. At first glance, the dragons thought that it was Godzilla, but it was slightly shorter, and had a little more muscle. Not only that, but it's body was decorated with crystals, especially on it's head and shoulders.
The newcomer screeched at the beasts in front of it. Dalai and Panchen growled in kind, before Dalai coiled himself around the false Godzilla. The alien screeched again and fought to tear the dragon off of him, but Panchen locked his jaws around it's arm and started to pull. The combined weight was working against the alien, but it wasn't that easily defeated.
Streams of electrical energy pulsed from the crystal it came from, and arced directly into the fake Godzilla's shoulder crystals. Re-energized, it grabbed Dalai's head and ripped him off, before shaking Panchen off of it's arm.
The dragons pulled back and primed themselves for another attack, but the alien unleashed a deadly energy attack that threw them across the crater. Victorious, the false Godzilla screamed.
Monarch Base of Operations, Monster Island
"What in God's name is that?" Henry said, pointing at the alien Godzilla.
"Well, whatever it is, it's not Godzilla," Jon noted.
"No, but it looks a lot like him," Ling said. "Convergent evolution?"
"Too similar," Ox replied. "Might sound corny, but I think aliens had something to do with this."
"Well, New York was attacked by aliens seven years ago," Stanton remembered. "Might have something to do with this."
"Not to mention that this thing is giving off mild amounts of Hawking radiation," Ox noticed. "Must have been made close to a black hole, or something to that extent."
"Wherever it came from, we need a name for it," Jon stated.
"Might as well name it SpaceGodzilla," Stanton said.
An alarm rang off. Ox pulled up the emergency tab to see that several locations had been attacked by the crystal shards, and these shards were attracting power-hungry Titans. One of the affected cities was Boston.
"Shit!" Jon exclaimed. "Mark and Ken are in Boston! Try and patch through!"
"I'm trying, but the storm is interfering with our comms!" Ox replied. "I'll try narrowing the frequency!"
Everyone was huddled around Ox as he fiddled with the frequencies, trying to get through the storm. Finally, he got somewhere.
"This is the Boston Monarch Base!" a familiar voice cried out. "We are experiencing a severe hailstorm! Any Monarch personnel, please come in!"
"Mark!" Jon answered. "Is everyone OK?! What's it like over there?!"
"The hail's the size of soccer balls over here! We're all alive, but some of us need medical help! Madison and Ken are OK!"
"We're sending Gotengo to your location! Hold on until then!"
When the call ended, Jon pressed his fingers to his temples. It was clear that he was in pain.
"Jon?" Stanton said. "Are you OK?"
"The Titan DNA in me is fighting to come out," he groaned. "It senses the energy coming from the crystals."
"I'll get started on a serum to help you," Marcus said.
"We better keep an extra close eye on the Titans, now," Henry stated, "especially Godzilla."
Godzilla could sense the energy that was introduced to Earth from space. He growled in annoyance when he thought of how the Titans would react, but then he felt a familiar presence coming from China.
It was alien, but also... native, like a member of his own species had been taken apart and put back together with extra parts.
He then remembered all those years ago, when his father had chosen a new mate for the first time in years. He remembered when his stepmother had tried to fight him, only for him and his brothers to throw her into a sand bar. He remembered the female's angry son, who tried to avenge her to no avail.
That's who it was. It was his half-brother, Atlas.
Godzilla growled to Zilla, telling him to stay with Minya while he went to confront his brother. Zilla growled in obedience, and Minya gave his father a quick hug before he left.
Godzilla rumbled toward his son, telling him to keep an eye on his siblings, before stepping into the ocean and swimming away.
