Hello, as promised, the new chapter is here, (The chapter five is already finished, i'll put it this week,)
I hope you still enjoy the story, thank you for the reviews, and i'm sorry again for all the errors,
Take care !
He was twenty-three, just like his bio said. However, the rest of his description was utter bullshit. While she had to recognize he was quite arrogant, he wasn't the self-proclaimed asshole who will -and she quoted- "make her life matter".
She had pointed that out to him, and he had half-hearted agreed, he should have deleted it. It was one of his closest friends who had written it for him, the extreme kind of overprotective, over possessive friend. His friend would have been a bitch had he deleted the description.
Lucy had been worried for a few minutes, maybe it was some kind of unhealthy relationship? The toxic kind of relationship? She had pointed that out again, he had told her, while his bookworm of a friend was utterly protective of him, he was nowhere near toxic. He just worshipped the ground he walked on -It had made her laugh hard-.
The blonde woman had asked him, how did he convince his protective friend to download Maps Love. He told her the she-demon his friend was dating, was putting him back to his place and she convinced him -while a bit unorthodoxly- to let him install the goddamned phone application.
While she was a freak, he was quite grateful for the non-scandal he escaped. His friend would definitely spend the night crying at him for not believing in his own seducing power and had recourse to the low standards of dating apps.
Lucy had spent the night giggling at her phone, the man humour just complimented hers. They would tease, mock, joke about everything, he would tell her his secret pickup lines and so would she. She would end up tears in the eyes, suffering from lack of oxygen from trying to stifle her laugh, her father was sleeping in the room next to hers, she couldn't laugh without waking him up.
They had stayed on the apps for hours, till Levy left to three in the morning. They had eventually wished a goodnight and turned off their phone devices.
Lucy had trouble falling asleep, still overjoyed from their discussion. Hadn't she had class, she would most likely have spent the night talking to him, and she was almost sure he would have too hadn't he had a job.
Lucy had stared at her phone hoping for it to beep the notification sound but she fell asleep too quickly.
Her alarm woke her up, and she jumped right on her phone. She wasn't desperate, he was just fun to talk to. She quickly became disillusioned, the man was connected but had yet to send her a message.
She stared at her phone, hesitating whether to send him a message or not. She didn't want him to think he had her wrapped around his little finger already.
She pouted, disappointed not to find any message of his. She rolled down the application and found a BlueMohawk notification.
Constellationist is online.
BlueMohawk : I don't know what you did to boss man but thank you, he is in a fantastic mood today.
Lucy blinked at her phone before blushing. How did he know she talked to Thundergod ? Did she really put him in a good mood ? And really, boss man ?
BlueMohawk : He's usually such a crybaby in the morning, if you aren't breathing right, you'll have a full thirty minutes lecture on how you're pissing him off by trying to stay alive.
BlueMohawk : He isn't a morning person.
Constellationist : How did you know ?
BlueMohawk : Didn't.
BlueMohawk : you just confirmed it.
Constellationist : He didn't even send me a message this morning.
The blonde pouted, she was quite unhappy with the man. Maybe she had been wrong all along, and the man was bored with her. She was only sixteen, mustn't been fascinating for the twenty-three years old, not that he knew about it anyway, but maybe her conversation lacked. Natsu always said she was boring with her nerds things.
Pouting, she left to the bathroom to get ready for school, ignoring the insistent beeping of her phone. BlueMohawk was most likely spamming for her to answer quicker. She snickered, he was going to wait for a while, she wasn't in the mood to put up with his teasing.
The man had quite the ego too, and he was always so happy to hear that he was right. She wasn't going to make him happy today.
She spent an hour getting ready in the bathroom, thinking about which clothes she was going to wear, if she added make-up, or if she was just going comfortable. She had spent the hour yawning, she wasn't a morning person.
She after, took a nice breakfast and took all of her time, before checking her phone again.
When she saw all the notifications, she paled. She needed to leave now, or risked being late for school. It was a serious dilemma, there were a lot of notifications coming from BlueMohawk, a few from unknowns –most likely perverts- and three from the Thundergod.
Her smile faltered, she didn't have time to think about him, a thundering ring made her jump.
She threw her phone in her jacket pocket, and slammed the door behind her after kissing her dog.
"Oï ! Lucy ! You're late !" screamed the pink-haired friend of hers, honking his car loudly.
"Natsu ! People are sleeping !" Lectured the blonde, in hushed tones.
"Oï ! There's only old crappy people here ! They're almost all dead !"
Lucy's eyes widened, before she slapped her hand on her forehead. Why was she friend with him again? A pulsing vein became apparent on her face, she became as red as a tomato, and decided to slam her schoolbag in his face.
The dilemma of the phone, quickly forgotten.
"Those people are not crappy, and not dead !" Screamed the girl.
Both of them were so busy, lecturing each other, they didn't hear one of the neighbours screaming "Shut up".
