On her first day in the new school, she got stupidly lost. There were maps everywhere in the school, but she didn't seem to find her way to her class. She was starting to tear up, when someone came up to her and showed her the classroom.

Natsu was the first one she met. He had a big smile on the face while calling her weirdo, but he was the nicest. They didn't meet after that, he was busy with his classes, she was busy with hers.

They didn't meet after a month later, when her last name got "accidentally" told by a teacher.

When police came to get her father, after they took all of their possessions, and after she found herself alone with her maid -Her name was Virginia, but everyone called her Virgo- and her father also called "Grampastache" -Mix of Grand-pa and mustache-, Lucy found herself with nowhere to go, nowhere to study.

She was all alone and felt like the world was finally dropping on her shoulders.

Virgo was the nicest, even though she kept on calling her princess. She took good care of her, and she was the one to contact that school, she was the one who made sure no one would know about her father.

They met, -the teachers, Virgo and Herself- a few days before school finally started. They all agreed not to tell her last name. They didn't want her to live in retaliation. She had agreed, she was quite alright with no one knowing where she really came from.

On the first day of school, she was introduced as Lucky Lucy, a far, far relative from the Dreyar director, coming right from England -that was the only excuse they found to explain her: "fancy" accent-.

Except from the "almost lost to death" experience, everything went quite well on the first week, she didn't make friends, but that was alright, she couldn't have it all, at least she didn't have to wear uptight clothes, didn't have to support courting from old and creepy men, and didn't have hundreds of people scanning her every move. To that day, she started to feel normal.

Life felt good, till professor José Pora "accidentally" called her by her last name. The man was awful to her. From the start, he had picked on her without any reason -except for being the daughter of her father-. He was always vicious when talking to her, and almost cruel. Picking on her for being all alone, or even for wearing second-hand clothes.

Sometimes she would leave the lesson with tears pricking her eyes. The man was mean, did she really have to support his behavior because of her father's actions?

That day, when he told her last name in class, at first there was no noise, Lucy had prayed her comrades didn't hear anything, but rumors started to shake the silence of the classroom, and soon all of them were talking loudly, some arguing and throwing dark looks at her.

Fear started to creep up on her skin, small goosebumps slowly appearing. She didn't feel safe anymore.

Some students started to scream at her, and when she got up to leave, the professor José, took a hold of her wrist, keeping her right in front of the class. People were angry, and she started crying, overwhelmed by the surge of hate. She had done nothing to deserve it. She had even been their comrades for the past week, they didn't notice anything, so why now?

When the tears finally dropped off her eyes, and when she really started sobbing, professor José finally freed her wrist, and let her leave.

He was already laughing, and roared when Gajeel spat on her back.

The man made her life hell for three weeks more, it might seem like nothing, a really short amount of time, but for her, it seemed like it wouldn't end at all.

Quickly, her comrades became her worst nightmares.

The teachers belittled the behavior of them, it was just kids "teasing her because she was shy" or maybe they were "knocking her books down to get her attention because she was pretty" but overall "was she even sure, those kids were even teasing her, maybe they were clumsy? They didn't mean to pull her hair; they just almost fell and took a grab of the first thing they saw".

Lucy had cried and screamed. Her body couldn't take it anymore, neither did her mind and soul. She was tired, she just wanted to be forgotten, to be a nobody.

When she came home, her clothes ruined by some tomato sauce -someone had thrown his lunch on her- she was welcomed by screams again. How could she be so messy, they didn't have enough money to buy a new one. Her father, red from anger, had screamed till three in the morning. Luckily for him, they didn't leave with Virgo anymore, sadly for her, she was alone, in pain with no one to talk to.

She ran away. One time, her father found her, he was a smooth talker, knew how to get her back home. A second time, she was harder to find and this time he had to ask for a favor to an old "friend". Third time and Virgo found her. Her father was dead worried, but she didn't care, she didn't want to go to school anymore, she didn't want to go back home, she had found someone who was willing to give her a job, and she was ready to live her own life, she wasn't afraid to be alone. She was thrilled.

Under her cold appearance, Virgo was the kindest, and she cared a lot about her. In a matter of an hour, she had convinced her to go home and go back to school, she would take care of the rest.

True to her word, she had a talk with her father who calmed down, she also had a talk with the director of the school, and José was suspended.

Lucy was stressed, she wanted to be out there, free, but she was only twelve at that time.

Virgo had assured her, everything would be alright, and if it didn't, she just had to call, and she would burn the school to the ground for her princess.

As expected, that day was horrible, the kids were even meaner to her than they were before, they were angry because José had been fired.

Her eyes had watered, and she had begged them to leave her alone, but Gajeel was just cruel. He had beat the crap out of her, she had taken too many hits in the stomach, she had tried to flee, but he had thrown her against a wall, and she had passed out.

When she woke up, dizzy, she saw the pink-haired clown who painted his cat blue just above her face, looking at her, face churned with concern.

She was surprised, no one had ever bothered looking her way since her last name reveal, and yet here he was, holding her against his torso while the nurse was checking her bruise and cleaning her cuts.

She then noticed how bloody his hands were, and how his left eye was starting to get a dark tint.

He told her; he heard a big noise. He didn't have a good relationship with Gajeel from the start, and couldn't help himself but kick his ass.

A small smile stirred her face, it was no good memorie but, Natsu truly was the bravest-man she had ever met, and without any doubt she would ever meet. Where would she be without him?

She blinked away her wetness, and ignored the weird look her best friend was giving her. She was now sixteen soon to be seventeen, and it felt like it was an eternity ago.

"Oï ! Why are you weird like that Luigi?"

She raised her hands to wipe away the tears from her face, and jumped on his back.

"My name is Lucy not Luigi! How many times do I have to tell you ?!" screamed the blonde, giving playfully hitting his shoulders.

Her weight on his back, and all of her erratic movements, made him lose his balance. He facepalmed on the old couch.

"Oï ! Weirdo! What are you doing?! You're heavy!"

"Who did you call fat?" asked Lucy, her voice low enough to make him shiver from fear.

She could be as scary as Erza sometimes.

"Your phone has been making weird noises for the past five minutes, nerd!" screamed the male, trying to escape the death grip she had on his jacket.

It definitely brought her back to the real world, especially when she heard Maps Love notifications particular sound.

She remembered her conversation with BlueMohawk and the notifications from ThunderGod, she paled. She was dying to smash her head on her wall.

"You called me fat." Said the blonde, hoping her best friend would take the bait and leave.

He did take the bait, rolled off the couch, throwing her on the floor on the way, and shook his hand.

"See you tomorrow morning, Luigi!" Screamed the male as he quickly hopped into his car.

She sighed and closed the door behind him. Thank god for making him clueless, and giving him Lisanna.
