As Wengie and Cameron were walking through MT Moon, the two of them were trying to get to know each other better. Wengie was astonished that Cameron dropped out of high school to pursue his dream as editing videos. His school would only focus on the mandatory requirements and would not introduce careers outside of those courses. Cameron's parents understood and allowed him to drop out of school to chase after his own goals. He still keeps in touch with his parents, as they seem very close.

Wengie was sort of jealous that his parents were supportive of him from the beginning while she had to withdraw her goals for several years. She did understand that everyone has different situations to deal with. That did not stop her from being envious of her new companion. Cameron switched the conversation by asking about Wengie's village. Wengie just grunted that it is just regular village and nothing interesting happens there. Cameron chuckled at this statement.

When Wengie confronted the giggling, Cameron noted that she had met her starter Pokémon Machop there, so something interesting had to happen at some point. Wengie blushed at the realization of how she met Machop. Out of embarrassment, Wengie changed the topic to what made Cameron want to be a video editor.

"I guess I just liked the way movies looked and thought that was the goal for me." Cameron stated.

"Yeah, but, how come you don't go to an art school and get a degree in doing this? You are an amazing editor from what I have seen you do with my recording." Wengie pointed out.

"This is going to not make sense here but, I don't want a degree because I don't want an official job as an editor." Cameron started.

"Huh?!"

"The moment I start getting money is the moment this does not become fun and becomes work. And work can only stress you out before it becomes rewarding." Cameron explained.

"I don't see what you are saying." Wengie shrugged.

"Think of it like this; if money was offered to beat every gym leader, who would want to go on a journey to have fun? No one because everyone would rather just want the money instead of the thrill." Cameron analogized.

Wengie sort of knew what Cameron was trying to say. The two of them had reached the other side of the cave. Once they reached the exit, they both decided to rest for a little bit. The two of them were eating the sandwiches that they made before they left Pewter City. Cameron asked Wengie what idea she had for her next video. Wengie just thought she would do the same thing she did when she fought Forrest. Cameron just shook his head at this.

"That is not a good idea." Cameron chuckled.

"What are you talking about?!" Wengie whined.

"People are probably going to get bored of watching your videos if you do the same thing over and over again." Cameron noted.

"How would you know?" Wengie argued.

"You ever see a movie or a show get a reboot?"

"Yeah."

"Have you ever liked the reboot more than the first one?"

"Well, uh, fine. You have a point. So what should I do then?" Wengie wondered.

"Well, what if you did a promo?" Cameron suggested.

"What do you mean?"

"Antagonize the gym leader a bit. Make a video practically saying you want to challenge them because they are weak and easy opponents. Make the gym leader want to battle you. And maybe switch up the humiliation while you are at it." Cameron stated.

"What do you have in mind?" Wengie was up for any offers.

"Well, see what kind of gym leader is in Cerulean City."

"Right." Wengie pulled out her Pokedex. "It says the gym leader is Misty and she specializes in water type Pokémon." Wengie searched.

"Ok. So make it a loser gets a bucket of water dumped on their head challenge or something." Cameron improvised.

Wengie thought that would have been too much of an armature move. She did think of different idea though. She proposed the idea to Cameron and he seemed to like it as well. The two of them finished their lunches and went towards Cerulean City. Once they got to the Pokémon Center in the city, they were planning on when to shoot for their promotional video.

Cameron mentioned that Wengie should have booked an appointment with the gym leader as you never know if they are available at the time. Wengie, realizing she should have done that from the beginning, scheduled an appointment in two weeks. Not wanting to waste more time, the two of them went to look for the perfect spot. They found a bridge leaving the city and started to cross it. They were stopped by a group of five people.

They called themselves the Bridge Gang. Which did not really seem intimidating as they tried to act. They even went as far as to say that they are the biggest Misty fans there will ever be. Wengie got an idea, so she started to walk away. Cameron followed as he was curious to see what the young trainer had planned. Wengie instructed Cameron to remain hidden but start recording when given the cue. Cameron just shrugged and started to record and would edit out the extra footage. Meanwhile, Wengie changed into her persona and went back on the bridge.

"Hey! We are The Bridge Gang, and we do not let just anyone pass here!" One of the people said.

"Well then. Good thing I am just not someone then. I am Wengie the Wonderful Wedgier and it looks like you lot need to learn some respect." Wengie snickered.

"You do not disrespect us. We are Misty's fans and deserve to be treated with the upmost respect like she does." Another member spoke.

"Well, sorry to burst your water type bubble, but I am going to be taking down your celebrity crush. And I will show you why they call me Wonderful Wedgier." Wengie taunted.

"What you think you can beat us? You don't stand a chance." A member stated.

"Then how about we see about that? Let us have a battle, all of you? If you win, then I will admit that your Misty is to be appreciated as such. But if I win…." Wengie started to wager.

"We have seen what you did to Forrest. And we accept your challenge." The Leader of the gang agreed.

"Then let us have a good time. Go Machop." Wengie started.

"Go Pidgey!" The leader called out.

Wengie commanded Machop to start off by using Focus Energy. Pidgey was ordered to use Gust. The tiny bird whipped up a wind storm, but Machop was not budging a bit. Machop followed by using Karate Chop. The boost from the Focus Energy knocked out the Pidgey with one hit. The following Pokémon that was summoned was a Mankey.

Machop was taking down one Pokémon after another. After the fourth member lost her last Pokémon, the last member started to run away from the battle. Machop leaped to the other end of the bridge to prevent the trainer from being a coward. The other members were disgusted by their member's actions. Wengie then declared herself the winner as all members left the scene of the battle.

"And that is what I call a water slide victory. Except it looks like one of your own chose the lazy river instead." Wengie gloated.

"Ok fine, you won. Big deal." One member sighed.

"Oh but it is. I see the perfect fitting for all of your defeat." Wengie declared.

"What are you rambling about?" The leader asked.

"All five of you, face away from each other right now." Wengie ordered.

"Fine. But what are you….Ow!" A member shrieked as Wengie was giving them all a wedgie.

"And there we go. You may all have a look now." Wengie finished. She had tied all of their underwear together and made a four way not.

"Hey! How come she doesn't have a wedgie like the rest of us?!" The leader protested.

"The rule was that the losers of the battle would be getting a wedgie. Since she did not battle, I will not be giving her a wedgie. But the rest of you fought your best like a team so you get wedgied as a team." Wengie stated.

"She was a coward and gets rewarded?! That is so not fair!" A member protested.

"I never said she is not getting a wedgie. I said I would not be giving her one. She will be giving herself one instead. And will only stop when you tell her too." Wengie stated.

"Not a problem. I know my team would not want to suffer the same way they are, right guys." The woman looked over to see her team cross their arms in disgust. The woman knew her defeat and started giving herself a wedgie until her team was satisfied.

"You see that Misty from Cerulean City. I have defeated your fan base, and now I will be after you. But I have a different approach for you. Seeing how you like water types so much; I think the loser should get double the humiliation. Not only does the loser get the wedgie of defeat, they shall also taste the swirly of shame as well. I hope you are watching Miss Misty, because I am coming after you!" Wengie announced to what seemed like nothing, but knew where Cameron was hiding.

Wengie untied the four gang members from their wedgie knot. She apologized for going too rough on them and pointed at where the camera man was. The four of them figured it was a publicity stunt and just accepted it. They still made the girl continue to wedgie herself though as it was sort of funny to them. Wengie started to walk away from the bridge and head back to the Pokémon Center.

After Machop was healed, they all sat in the front lobby as Cameron had just finished editing the footage. After the video was uploaded, tons of responses were flooding her comment section. Just then, a young woman walked over to the two of them and sat right in front of them. She mentioned how she has been watching her videos and was a fan of her content. Wengie tried to deny what this lady was talking about.

The lady pointed out that she knew who she was from Forrest. Wengie gave up the charade and was delighted to meet a fan. The two of them started talking about how funny Wengie's videos were and whatnot. Cameron was trying to inform Wengie on something he knew she did not understand. However, Wengie just brushed him off and continuing her conversation. In the end of it, the lady pulled out a ticket and handed it to Wengie.

"What is this for?" Wengie asked.

"Those are special tickets that allow you access to challenge the gym leader before any registered attendees." The lady stated.

"Uh, thank you. But I already have a registration with Misty in two weeks." Wengie stated.

"Yeah, but I want to battle you as soon as I could." The lady, now known as Misty, stated.

"You're Misty?!" Wengie was stunned.

"And I am not about to lose. What you have done so far was amusing, but I am prepared to win. Just make sure when you lose, you still upload your defeat." Misty shrugged as she left the Pokémon Center.

"I tried to warn you." Cameron blushed.

"She seemed very confident more than the other challengers I have faced." Wengie started to worry slightly.

"No worries, right? So far you have gone undefeated. So the odds are in your favor right now." Cameron tried to reassure.

The both of them thought it would be best for them to get a good night's rest. Wengie knew with that ticket Misty gave her, that meant Misty wanted to have a battle immediately. Wengie knew that if she did not show up for a battle tomorrow, then Misty would think less of her as a trainer. And that was something she could not allow herself to do. She was prepared for her battle tomorrow and nothing was going to stop her from achieving victory.
