Wengie and Cameron were on their way to Vermillion City. Wengie was excited to surprise Cameron with the contest. As they were walking, a random stranger was limping towards them. The only thing that shocked them was that the stranger had their shorts all the way up to their chest. The two of them stopped the person to see what is going on.

The person mentioned how they went to challenge Wengie the Wonderful Wedgier to a battle. The person explained how she had opened an unofficial gym for passing by challengers. But when the battle started the room went pitch black. As soon as the lights came on, their Pokémon was unconscious and Wengie the Wedgier got what she wanted.

Both Cameron and Wengie knew that this was some imposter. They had to get to the bottom of this immediately. The trainer pointed in the direction of where the gym was and the two of them were off. They managed to find a building that was just standing in the middle of nowhere. They both walked in and went to see if this was the so called gym. A lady in a pink mask started to walk to them.

She introduced herself as Wengie. The real Wengie said her name was Claire. Cameron was unsure of what to call himself; as he is not too familiar with undercover work or fake names for that matter. But even the real Wengie never introduced her camera man so he was safe to use his actual name. The fake Wengie asked if they would like to battle her. 'Claire' accepted the challenge. Cameron asked what she was thinking; and she told him to record the entire thing discretely.

Cameron had set up his recording equipment and made sure that no one noticed. The fake Wengie sent out her own Machop and 'Claire' sent out Cubone. The lights in the room went dark and no one could see a thing. The lights came back on and Cubone was knocked out cold. Machop was declared the winner and the imposter Wengie walked over to claim her prize. The real Wengie was hoisted by her jeans. Then a belt was tied around the waist of the jeans to make it a perawedgie. The two of them left the building, as Wengie was waddling in defeat.

"Well that was definitely suspicious." Wengie stated.

"Yeah. First she pretends to be you, then she even has the same Pokémon as you, but she never called out for a move." Cameron added.

"Good thing we got the whole thing on video. Now we just have to examine it and see what is actually going on here." Wengie planned.

"Yeah, about that." Cameron started as Wengie was concerned. "You never told me why we were recording. So for that, you are going to have to battle her again." Cameron chuckled out of embarrassment.

Wengie handed Cameron the pokéball that contained her Machop and pointed in the direction for him to go inside. Cameron did not want to anger Wengie any more than she already was annoyed. Cameron had set up his equipment to make sure he was recording. Next thing Wengie saw was Cameron walking out in the same predicament as she was in. Cameron mentioned that it is not as fun or funny as she makes them seem.

The both set up a camping spot to review the footage. Cameron had set his recording device to a night vision setting. From Cameron's view, there was something in the background of the battlefield. Closer inspection revealed that it was a Pokémon using Confusion. And then a few seconds later it used a combination of Hypnosis and Dream Eater. Cameron spoke up aboiut how those moves are a fierce set of attacks.

Confusion is to make the room go completely dark. While the Pokémon puts the opponent to sleep with Hypnosis. And Dream Eater only deals damage when a Pokémon is sleeping. They were going to have to figure out a way to stop the mystery attacker. Wengie and Cameron did come up with a plan. But they needed to figure out how the building is set up first. So they headed over to Vermillion City to get what they needed.

They needed to find where the layout of the building was. They ran into a very large man in the city. They asked him about the building. He replied by saying he had a crew build it for a lady who wanted a radio station. Wengie and Cameron informed him that it was not a radio station over there. The man asked what they were talking about; so they had to show him the video they took.

"You ever heard of Wengie the Wonderful Wedgier?" Wengie asked sheepishly.

"Of course. I am one of her fans. Do you mean to tell me she is nearby?" The man asked.

"Well sort of. We know Wengie really well. As you know, Wengie battles with an ante rule and whatnot. But there is a person there pretending to be Wengie." Cameron responded.

"I see." The man stated.

"And we need to see who the place is set up because we know how she is cheating." Wengie added.

"Then not a problem. I will help you two out." The man agreed.

He got the diagram and based on the explanation they gave the man; the Pokémon causing the problem would have to be in a specific room that boosted the power of psych waves. Now they had to go on with their plan. Wengie sent out her Cubone to let it know what to do. They went back to the building, and Cubone was doing as it was instructed.

Wengie said she had to get ready for her match with the imposter and the man had a few more questions for Wengie. He was asking why the real Wengie does not come down here herself. Along with how do they know her so well? And then a few other questions. Wengie was starting to shake up a little bit. The man smirked and said that it is ok if she is the real Wengie. The man also stated that he was looking forward to having an official gym battle with her.

Wengie was shocked to learn that the man was LT. Surge, the Vermillion City gym leader. She was getting real nervous about meeting the gym leader while also trying to keep her dignity in check. Cameron communicated with Wengie through a communication device. Cubone was hooked up with a pair of goggles and a listening device. Cameron was going to guide Cubone through the building to get to the room the mystery Pokémon is in.

Wengie got changed into her outfit and walked right into the building. Cubone saw the Pokémon and threw its club right at its head, knocking it out. Cameron gave the word that the plan is now in motion. Wengie busted through the door and confronted the fraud. When the alter saw the gym leader, she tried to say that she was real one. LT. Surge looked at both of them and said the real Wengie is a tough battler; so the two of them should fight it out. The fake was confident in her scheme so she accepted. She snapped her fingers and waited for the usual to happen.

"Are you waiting for something?" The real Wengie asked.

"Uh, just waiting to see if you really are trying to be Wengie." The imposter stuttered.

"Well then, let's go Machop!" Wengie threw her pokéball.

"Right. Go Machop. (what is going on up there?!)" The other Wengie muttered to herself.

"Machop use Karate Chop!" Wengie called out.

"Machop, you use Brick Break." The fake stated with confidence.

"Now, switch to Revenge!" Wengie instructed.

Both Machop's where giving it their best. Wengie's Machop have the superior strength. However the other Wengie's Machop had stronger moves. Wengie's Machop was not about to give up. He had been trying so hard to make Wengie happy ever since they met. There was no way someone was going to take all of their hard work they had been working for. Machop started to glow white right when the battle was getting intense.

"Machop is evolving." Wengie was shocked.

"This is not going to go well for me." The other Wengie worried.

"Machoke. A strong opponent indeed." LT. Sure chimed in.

"And would you look at that. Machoke learned a new move too." Wengie was getting ready for another attack.

"Uh oh."

"Machoke; use Return!" Wengie called out. Machoke's arm glowed a pinkish color as he slammed it right into the Machop. Machop was no longer able to battle.

"Looks like I win. No you are going to reveal yourself as the fake you are." Wengie started to approach.

"Ok, wait. I am not the real Wengie! I just pretended to be so that people would be too intimidated by me. And when that did not work, I enlisted the help of a wild Pokémon." The fraud explained.

"Continue." Wengie demanded.

"When I was winning I needed to convince the challengers that I was really you so I yanked their pants up. Now that you have beaten me, I swear I will never do it again." The fake Wengie promised.

"Oh, you will be doing more than that." Wengie stated, as the fake Wengie had a feeling what was about to happen.

"Well my Wedgettes; I have some terrible news. There was someone who was pretending to be me and cheating at battles. But there is no more of her foolishness as you can see." The fake Wengie was giving herself a wedgie in her green thong.

"How much longer?" she asked Wengie.

"Keep going. Oh and start walking to Vermillion City and tell the whole city you are a fake… or else." Wengie threatened as the wedgied Wengie started to walk away. "No for some better news. I am here with Vermillion City's LT. Surge, and we are discussing about our battle in the future. I think we should do something a little bit different than my other gym battles. Maybe something creative even. The loser of our battle will be receiving the first ever Vermillion Wedgie." Wengie explained.

"And what does that mean little one?" LT. Surge asked.

"It is 'do whatever you want' wedgie. Really makes you think a little bit. And I am looking forward to that day." Wengie stated.

"And I am looking forward to that battle too." Both trainers shook each other's hands.

Cameron stopped recording and was getting ready to publish it. Wengie asked what ever happened to the mystery Pokémon. Cameron mentioned that it also knew teleport so it left as soon as it could. Wengie just shrugged it off as the three of them headed back to Vermilion City. They saw the imposter who was still giving herself a wedgie. Only this time people started throwing fruits and vegetables at her for deceiving them.

Cameron asked when they were going to head over to the gym. Wengie mentioned she had made a reservation for four days from now. Cameron asked why so long; and Wengie pointed at the film making contest. Cameron just nodded, but did not seem to phased by it. He mentioned how it might be too late to enter. To his surprise, Wengie had already signed him up for it. Wengie told Cameron that he has been helping her this whole time, so now it is her time to help him. Cameron thanked Wengie and now he was about to see what the competition was all about.
