Thunder:
In the land of the Electro Archon, an encounter that would be embedded into its lands was happening. Clouds blotted out the sky, darkening the land, with the only source of illumination being the contrasting crackles of purple and yellow lighting. Rain pouring over the ground with the very air feeling like it could fry someone. All the while, a massive serpentine skeleton loomed over the two combatants responsible.
"'The Lightning of Tomoe'? Electro that doesn't originate from the Almighty Shogun. Impossible… and yet… it's staring me right in the face. This man is adept at wielding this heretical lightning… no wonder he was unfazed by my strikes. A swordsman, a bowman, an element wielder and a devotee to their homeland… I see… He's me… or who I could have become…." Sara lets the information settle in her mind, contemplating the fact that what's staring her in the face is someone she very much could've ended up as. A person blindly devoted to their homeland and leader to the point they would sacrifice everything for it. Just like how she'd been during the Vision Hunt Decree. Blindingly following the orders of the Raiden Shogun, regardless of the effect it had on the people. "If I'm to truly atone for the Vision Hunt Decree… this is a battle I must win!" Sara readied her sword, letting Electro energy course through it, the glow in her eyes and the lightning pouring from her wings and body intensifying.
"RRAGH!" Genichiro responded to her body language immediately, dashing then lunging towards Sara at inhuman speeds, ready to jam the sword directly through her chest. Sara responded by blocking the strike with her own blade, and used the pushback along with her wings to distance herself from Genichiro. The samurai continued his actions, making a mad dash towards her at speeds that even the tengu wouldn't be able to respond to in time. Genichiro caught her midair and slammed her to the ground, creating a crater, and prepared to stab her through the stomach.
"RRAAAAGH!" Before his sword pierced her, Sara summoned a fan in her hand and waved it at Genichiro, creating a gust of strong wind imbued with Electro energy, sending the man flying and crashing through a tree. The two combatants got up and jumped in the air, drawing their bows. Yellow lightning struck Genichiro's bow, supercharging the arrow with the lightning, while Sara overcharged a Tengu Stormcall arrow. The two arrows flew directly towards each other, what resulted was a massive blinding explosion of yellow and purple, but the two wasted no time and dashed at each other at blinding speeds.
CLINK. CLINK. CLANG. CLANG
The grave of Orobashi reverberated with steel clashing with steel, with the booms and crackles of thunder added to every clash.
CLINK. CLINK. CLANG. CLANG
The tengu warrior and the heretical samurai were clashing and moving at speeds incomparable to what they were just a few short moments ago. Neither were looking to give one the edge over the other.
CLINK. CLINK. CLANG. CLANG
It didn't matter whether it was land or sky, sword or bow, fists or lightning. The two were perfectly matched at this very moment, every sword strike was met with a sword strike, every arrow shot was met with an arrow, even the purple and yellow lightning seemed to dance around the two, all this happening while the two moved at speeds that would leave even Vision wielders and divine creatures baffled if they were to see this. The duel between the human raised divine and the divine raised human was at a stalemate.
CLINK. CLINK. CLANG. CLANG
The two jumped into the air and prepared powerful techniques. Genichiro, preparing the Sakura Dance while the Lightning of Tomoe struck him. Sara, charging Electro energy and her wings while preparing to wave her fan. The two attacks clashed. Yellow lightning trailing sakura petals met divine wind carrying purple electro energy. The result of the two attacks pushed the both of them away from each other and to the ground, both of them in pain from the recoil.
"Not… yet…" Genichiro was the first to get up and stabbed his sword into the ground to support himself
"Why… won't you just… go down!" Sara eventually got up using her wings to stabilize herself while also using the handle of her sword as support.
The two were on their last legs, and it was clear that whatever their next attack would be would be the last.
"Grandfather… forgive me for using this… but for the sake of avenging Ashina… I must bastardize your technique." Genichiro sheathed his sword and let himself be continuously struck with the Lightning of Tomoe, funneling the energy of the yellow lightning into the blade, making the blade and sheath glow yellow, and then dashed towards Sara.
"Almighty Shogun… forgive me… but… just this once…" Sara sheathed her sword, and let immense amounts of Electro energy run through it, making the sheath and the blade glow purple, all the while her eyes and wings intensified with lightning and just stood there, waiting for Genichiro.
One second. Two seconds. Three seconds. The time ticking before impact felt like it was slowing down little by little. The anticipation felt like it could kill a person, what would happen? Before either of them knew it, they were facing each other, dead in the eyes, separated by mere feet. They drew their swords.
Yellow met purple, the sound that reverberated from the clash was the loudest yet, it felt as if it could be heard from kilometers away. Leaving a scorching trail perpendicular of their impact, but that wasn't all. Numerous little slashes clashed with each other, crackling like thunder and shooting out fast as lightning, all of them trickled out alongside the blade they originated from as they left their sheaths, and leaving numerous vibrations and scorched slash marks all over the terrain. Genichiro had done an incomplete version of his grandfather's 'One Mind' technique, while Sara had done a copied version of her Shogun's 'Musou Isshin' charged slashes. The numerous tiny lightning slashes found their ways to both combatants, slashing and cutting them numerous times throughout their bodies, but despite that neither gave up the clash of their swords. They waited for an opportunity where it seemed the other was weaker, an opportunity that felt like it would never come until.
"!" The two managed to slide their blades off each other, leading to them ending up on opposite sides facing the other way. Neither of them wasted any time, and swiftly turned around, their lightning empowered blades still in hand, and swiftly lunged at each other until-
Stab/Stab.
Blood was trickling down from both. Sara winced in pain, but firmly kept her sword in her hands, even as she felt the sword piercing her wings and the heretical lightning coursing through them. Genichiro looked down to see a sword directly in his chest, where his heart was. Slowly, he felt less and less control over his body until he could only say one final word.
"... Ash… in… a…" And with those words, Genichiro fell on his knees, the light leaving his eyes. Sara proceeded to pull the sword out of his body, letting it lay on the ground, before sheathing it and proceeding to pull out the man's sword from her wings before stabbing it on the ground above where the man's head was, like a tombstone.
"As much of a monster as you were… I recognize that you and I could've been the same… you were a worthy opponent… Genichiro Ashina." The General said her final words before letting her wings vanish, and turning around to walk away from the body, clutching her wounds. "I… I need to get back… to my men… need them… to patch me up… I never expected to be… as wounded and tired… as I am right no-"
Stab.
Sara's thoughts suddenly halted as she felt something pierce through her stomach, a sword. His sword. "But… ho-" Those thoughts ceased as she heard a voice behind him, one unmistakable.
"I didn't think I would have the Rejuvenating Waters in me still. How lucky I suppose." Genichiro pulled the sword out from Sara and let her fall to the ground. With Sara only being able to get out a few cursed filled words.
"You… dishonorable… bastard…"
"A military leader should know the difference between honor and victory. And what use do I have for honor anymore?" The man proceeded to raise his sword up and prepared to impale the tengu through the chest in order to finish her off, giving a few words before going through with the motions. "With this, Ashina will be rebuilt from the ashes of this nation. Farewell. Tengu."
"Al… mighty… Sho… gun… my… men… Ka… ma…ji… Masa… hi… to… In… a… zuma… I'm… so… rry…"
Just as he was about to plunge his sword into Sara, he jumped away at the sight of a naginata heading his way.
"! WHO DARES INTERFERE?!" Genichiro shouted before looking at the owner of the naginata, a purple haired woman. One look into her eyes told him that what stood before him was no human. It was the Electro Archon herself, the Raiden Shogun of Inazuma.
"... Almighty… Shogun… ?" Sara looked up, delirious and weary eyed from bleeding out, she almost thought that the figure above her was something she dreamt off. Surely there was no way that the Shogun would intervene to save her life twice?
"MADAM KUJOU!"
"MEDICS! MEDICS!"
"MADAM KUJOU NEEDS AID IMMEDIATELY!"
Sara faintly heard the squadron that she ordered to retreat to Fort Fujou… "Ahh… so they… pleaded with… the… Shogun… for my… life… I'll have to… admonish… them… la… t… e…" Sara barely finished that thought before unconsciousness took her, and immediately the medics went to work, patching her wounds, doing all they could to keep their General breathing.
"You fought well, General Kujou… you may leave the rest to me." The Narukami Ogosho glanced at her grievously wounded and unconscious General before turning her attention back to the resurrected man, her eyes lighting up and the very area darkening as a show of power. "Outlander, I do not know where you have come from, but I will give you one chance to surrender peacefully, or be felled by the Musou no Hitotachi."
"Surrender? After all I've done?! AFTER ALL I'VE SACRIFICED FOR ASHINA?!" Genichiro shook off the divine presence currently weighing down on him and shouted in rage towards the Archon of Eternity, yellow lightning intensifying and striking all over the place in response to his anger. "I CARE NOT WHETHER THE ONE BEFORE ME IS HUMAN, YOKAI OR GOD! I'VE SACRIFICED MY PRIDE, MY HUMANITY AND MY LIFE FOR THE SAKE OF ASHINA, AND I WILL GLADLY SACRIFICE ALL OF THEM AGAIN TO SEE HER REBUILT FROM THE ASHES OF THIS ABHORRENT NATION!" As Genichiro finished his rant, he dashed and lunged towards the Raiden Shogun and the squadron behind her at inhuman speeds, all the while the Lightning of Tomoe struck him numerous times, coursing and emanating through his body, threatening to reduce them to ashes.
The squadron was fearful, immensely fearful. Never have they ever felt anything emit this kind of malice and hatred, it made even the Tatarigami prevalent in this area feel small in comparison. But they had faith that their Almighty Shogun would protect them. Just as she's done for the past 500 years, just as she will do now.
The Raiden Shogun discarded her naginata and opened up a dimensional pocket to retrieve the Musou Isshin, and the moment Genichiro got close, she said only 3 words. "Torn to Oblivion." The Raiden Shogun moved at immeasurable speeds, appearing in front of Genichiro, then behind him in a near instant. Genichiro himself was frozen in midair, his crazed face and the heretical lightning still coursing through him before numerous purple slashes appeared, and soon engulfed him in a massive pillar of Electro energy. It was done. The Shogun did her Musou no Hitotachi. The man should've been ash no- "!?"
"... damn… you…" It was an impossible sight. The man survived. He fell to the floor, unresponsive as a rock, but the fact of the matter was, he survived the Musou no Hitotachi. His body was steaming and smoking from the heat of the Electro energy, and it seemed that he was dead, but if what the Raiden Shogun sensed was true, he would regenerate and revive, so they had to act quickly.
"Restrain him, put all the restraints and talismans we have on his body until we can get him to Narukami Shrine." The Shogun ordered, and the soldiers quickly acted. The fight was over. The Shogun walked over to her unconscious general to watch over her as she and the squadron marched back to Inazuma City.

5 weeks have passed. The General of the Tenryou Commission was currently at the very bottom of the Police Detention Center, where they kept the most dangerous of Inazuma's criminals detained. She was still heavily wounded, bandaged all over, but in all honesty, she was lucky to be alive right now as she was stabbed through the chest. Sangonomiya Kokomi herself came to assist in her healing, and she said that it was nothing short of a miracle that Sara survived. Why was she down here and not in bed recovering from her life threatening injuries. Well, that was because she was visiting the cause of her life threatening injuries.
Genichiro Ashina never felt more humiliated than he did at this very moment, he was heavily chained around his limbs, he couldn't move a muscle, and these talismans that were on him made sure that he couldn't move anything other than his mouth. These were the result of that damn Kitsune, "I will rip out those fox's tails when I get out of here…" Any thoughts that he had ceased when he saw who visited him. "Tengu… come to gloat?"
"No… just to confirm something."'
"And what would that be?"
"... That I could've been you… Willing to sacrifice who I am for my nation. I am fortunate for that not to be the case."
"... Your nation will fall… your unwillingness to sacrifice everything for your home will be your downfall."
"No… it won't. And if I die, at least I die as myself. Goodbye. Genichiro Ashina." Sara turned around to walk away from the restrained man.
"I WILL GET OUT OF THESE! I WILL HAVE YOUR HEAD WHEN I DO! MARK MY WORDS TENGU!" Genichiro's spiteful words echoed throughout the Detention Center. Sara doubted that he would ever get out, but she would never dismiss the possibility. For now though, the threat of the Heretical Samurai ended in Inazuma. And life in the land of Eternity continued.

Extra: Tanuki and Monkey
"Hmmm?" The little Shuumatsuban ninja woke up in an unfamiliar place, it felt like an area disconnected from the real world, the architecture felt like Inazuma, but something felt off about it. She looked and saw 3 monkeys staring at the little ninja. The monkeys started hollering at Sayu, as if trying to tell her something. "Want me to play with you?" The monkeys leaped from the floor to the rooftops in response. Sayu responded by rolling after them. "And away I go!"
