Friendship after disaster part 2
Since Nightfall left Stormblade alone, she felt uneasy, if Nightfall doesn't come back then it could be her fault.
"What if I'm annoying her a bit too much?" Stormblade asked herself.
Stormblade decided to look for her teammate before it could be too late, while figuring out a way to apologize to her.
"NIGHTFALL WAIT UP." Stormblade called and left the camp.
The dread walker was far enough away for her to not hear her teammate's call, Stormblade ran until she was lost in the forest. She looked around while she breathed heavily, Stormblade felt uneasy already about being alone. She decided to use her endless chirping for a while to see if she have gotten anyone's attention, but it did, but it attracted a group of enemies that was looking to cause trouble.
Meanwhile with Nightfall, she is enjoying the peace and quiet of the forest and away from Stormblade. After a few hours, she decides to head back to the camp to see the Lark have disappeared, nothing of Stormblade's was taken with her. Which is leaving Nightfall concerned, so she decided to track her teammate down by using her skills to find Stormblade.
Back with Stormblade, she was slowly getting over runed by the group which she attracted by her chirping. The dread walker as about to give up when she just saw a lark getting attacked, which Nightfall recognized that it was her teammate, Stormblade. She came to help the lark fight the enemies off and the rest of them ran from the duo, Nightfall helped up her injured teammate and they made their way back to the camp. Nightfall was sitting on a log while Stormblade was in a tent resting from her injuries due to what happened. It was all quiet until Stormblade started to talk.
"Nightfall," She started. "You may still be annoyed of me, but I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything. If you want to quit and leave us because of my annoyance, or if I leave because of me annoying everyone then it's fine. Because I finally found out that my annoyance can annoy everyone."
"Stormblade." Nightfall responded. "As much that you are annoying and it pains me to say this, but we're still a team. Even if you annoy everyone, in fact, you're not the only annoying Skylander around. And what you did was the right thing, you stopped me from harming Ghost Roaster, a fellow Skylander. I'm sorry if I'm always a downer, but that's how I am, I would like it if one of us leaves, but it wouldn't even feel the same. Although this bonding didn't go well for the first time, it won't hurt to try again."
"Yeah." Stormblade replied. "Once, I have recovered from this."
They stopped talking after a bit and Nightfall started to watch, she ended up falling asleep but then Stormblade kept an eye on the camp for the rest of the night. Nightfall woke up and looked that her teammate, Stormblade, was still up, the lark looked exhausted when Nightfall woke up.
"You've been up all night?" She asked her teammate as she rubbed her eyes awake.
"Yeah." Stormblade answered as she yawned. "And I didn't even make one sound all night."
"I'm calling backup, we'll take the rest of the break in Skylands." Nightfall told her.
But before she even contact Mags, a portal opened up that revealed Ambush, Lapdite Azuli, and Spit Fire coming out.
"How did you know where we were?" Nightfall asked.
"I know my way with these forests." Ambush answered.
"We know that this didn't went well." Spit Fire said.
"For the beginning, until Stormblade realized how annoying she is." Nightfall replied.
"We're trying again once I recovered." Stormblade said tiredly.
"Well then," Lapdite said. "To make this easy, we're helping you two."
Spit Fire looked at the elemental leader as Ambush started to help out.
"Why did Eon ever recruited you?" Spit Fire asked.
"It was Ella who recruited me, not her father." Lapdite answered.
