The moment we appeared in the Hokage office I knew things were different. Our Kage spoke," Due to your skill level I am sending you guys out to the field, the war is not turning out well. Your mission is to fight against the enemies as long as possible. Apparently they have gotten some strange and powerful creatures to fight. They don't seem to have any weakness at all. They attack at night as well."

Speaking up I questioned," Forgive me for interrupting but is it possible for them to be weaker during the day or the sun hurts them?" Everyone looked at me as I glared," Oh stop looking at me like I am stupid, it's just a possibility."

The ninth hokage slowly nodded," Very perceptive. Alright do you understand the mission." We all nodded in understanding as Yuma-sensei spoke," Alright lets head towards the front lines. Be very careful and do not be afraid to kill understand this is a kill or be killed scenario." Seitaro and Saya replied," Hai."

Getting out to the gate with the others as my mother spoke," I will see you later be careful. These new enemies are not to be trifled with." Nodding in understanding as Yuma-sensei spoke," Alright Team 7 move out. Keiji go off into the woods and act as our scout, Saya and Seitaro stay in a triangle formation."

Shrugging I replied," I assume I will be the tank as I can hit pretty hard."

Yuma-sensei nodded rubbing her ribs," I can trust you right."

Smiling I replied," Of course, I will remain in earshot though."

She smiled as they took off jumping into the woods to their left I jumped from tree to tree with my sharingan activated. Catching glimpses of my team as I moved parallel from them until I heard Yuma-sensei yell," Hakke Kūsō!"

Moving towards them I watched as a strange humanoid figure dodged an attack. Breathing outwards I waited drawing both swords. Disappearing in a shunshin I blocked an attack that would have ended Yuma-sensei's life. A strange wolf made of blood. I smirked with my swords in an X formation," Hell no I won't let you kill my sensei." Holding the katana that enabled me to use flame breathing I noticed a look of fear in the demons eyes as it saw the katana. Smirking," Ah I assume you are scared of what I can do with this sword. Alright then." Sheathing my ninja-to I looked at my comrades," Go I want to try something." Yuma-sensei growled," You better not die so early in the war." Gripping my katana with both hands I breathed in while they left as I questioned," What are you exactly, I wish to know before I either die or kill you?" The strange being smirked," Why I am a demon, child and you are gonna make a fine dinner demon slayer."

Confused still as the thing disappeared in a blur that not even my sharingan can track." In pure instinct alone I dodged a strike that would have killed me gripping my sword I breathed inwards preparing to use one of the forms. Considerably one of my strongest. The ninth form. The demon growled," Interesting your eyes seem like they are a blood demon art. Tell me what do they do child."

Narrowing my eyes I replied," Why would I tell you after all I keep my techniques a secret from everyone. Now Honō no kokyū: Ku no kata: Rengoku!" Flames spun around my sword as I got into a stance meant for going in for a straight line dash. Dashing forward in an almost invisible blur. The demons only sound as I slashed clean through its neck. Glancing back I whistled seeing the trench the technique created in the ground. Too my surprise instead of a body with blood everywhere the body and head was disintegrating. Not sure if that was a good sign I kept an eye on it for a little bit longer before I relaxed.

Rushing back towards where my teammates could be with the sun slowly sinking over the horizon. I heard a voice under the tree," Keiji that you?" Calling back I replied," Yeah it is." Seitaro sighed," Thank kami your alright. What happened?" I replied," Well I figured out what it was and apparently it is called a demon. I did in fact manage to kill it by cutting its head off with this."

Sensei came forward and sighed," Alright go rest, tomorrow we will be at the front lines."

Nodding in understanding," Wake me up if another demon comes by." Saya laughed," Alright we will." Jumping into a tree I closed my eyes falling asleep.
