(Care's perspective)

"WAAAAAAAHHHOOOOOOOOOOO!" I screamed as I shot through the forest on my new tame.

Mika flew down to my level on Hawks, "I see you're having fun."

"What was that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of you eating my dust!"

Once we got to my base I cleared the spike wall and landed inside the base on my brand new raptor.

Mika flew in a few seconds later. "Dang, he's fast."

"That's why he's named Speedy!" I reply.

"Hey Care! Come here!" Omni shouted from our baby pen.

I rush in to see Omni standing beside Survivor.

"He's taller than me!" He exclaimed.

"You must be so proud." I joked. "How are the Argy's?"

"All 60% matured." He replied.

I looked out of the pen to see Mika walking around our base with a look on her face.

"Is there a problem?" I ask as she pulls out some thatch from the wall.

"You guys need a better base, if something big walks down here it'll take down this hut in one hit." She said.

"It's pretty small too, we need more room for our tames." I continue.

"Hey, I have an idea." I start, "Why don't we move into your base and join your tribe? You're here most of the time anyway and we need more space. The only downside is Blue probably won't be too happy about it."

"He won't care as long as you bring tames."

"What's that supposed to mean? Is he gonna steal our tames from us?"

"No, he just wants tames on his side for security, he's kind of paranoid. But he may… borrow… your tames a few times."

"He ain't touching Ursa with a ten-foot pole or I'm shooting off his other foot."

"Haha, I believe you."

"So? Can we join?" I ask excitedly.

"Sure, why not." She chuckled.

I do a little celebrational 'yes' to myself and run over to Omni.

"Yo Grumpy! It's moving day!"

"It's what?" He asked.

"We're moving in with Mika! We need more space and better resources."

"True…"

"But?"

"Alright, let's pack the Dinos."

"YES!"

I made a saddle for our Spino which we decided to name Hookfang and made two extra cockpits on the sides for Survivor and my two Argy's, which were both about the size of Omni by now.

Omni had situated Judge on Ursa behind him and whistled to Speedy to follow him.

I got all the important resources from the smithy and refining forge and put them in Hookfang's inventory.

We walked on toward Mika's base slowly so as to not hurt the babies. This was very dangerous because predators could easily catch up to us. Mika had brought one of her Spino's as protection.

There were two Rex's that Mika killed along the way.

When we were in view of her massive stone walls, we encountered a strange creature with very long claws. It walked on two legs and had lots of feathers.

Mika had stopped us as soon as she saw it.

"Follow me quietly." She whispered.

"What is it?" I asked.

"That's a Theri, the only aggressive herbivore that can kill damn near anything." She explained.

"I want one," I said offhandedly.

We walked around it very slowly out of its view.

Once we made it to the door and Mika opened it, the loud clanking of the door opening got the Theri's attention. As soon as it saw us it started to charge.

"The death chicken sees us! THE DEATH CHICKEN SEES US!" I scream as we pile into the door.

Once we all got through the Theri followed in, but as soon as it got through the doorway the Rex and all of Mika's Spinos rushed it and killed it almost instantly.

"Damn..." I muse.

I walked up to the corpse and removed its giant claws.

Just picking them up cut my hand. I dropped it as soon as that happened.

"I need one of those," I say looking at the razor-sharp claws.

"Well, they're a very hard tame. They wake up very fast so you have to drug them good. But once you get one, it's so worth it." Mika said with enthusiasm.

"Do you have one?" Omni asked.

"I did, but it died to an Alpha Carno." She said as she made a fire.

"Two questions." I started while I sit on a stump, "What's a Carno and what the hell is an Alpha Carno."

"A Carno is a smaller version of a Rex but with horns. Basically the Dinosaur version of a bull. An Alpha Carno is an extremely powerful version of the normal Carno, so much so it actually glows red and embers fall off its scales." She explained stoking the fire.

"That's awesome… Not the fact that ur tame was killed by one of those but… I need one of those." I mused.

"You can't tame them."

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"You can't tame Alpha creatures. They're too strong. Either you'll burn yourself trying to stab it with a tranq spear, or the tranq arrows will burn right off it. And even if by some miracle you do knock it out, it won't be out for more than two seconds no matter how much you drug it."

"How do you know all this?" Omni asks.

"Most of my knowledge about this place is from my own experiences, but I also have some other sources."

"Thug?" I ask.

"Yeah." She chuckled.

"He's a mysterious character, he always disappears randomly," Omni said, gazing at the fire.

"Haha, he does that." Mika mused.

We stare at the fire for a moment before Mika speaks up again.

"Why don't you make a house before it gets too dark, you don't want to sleep in the cold tonight."

"Alright, can we borrow any resources from you?" I ask.

"Borrow? Are you planning on giving them back?" She joked.

"I can get you something else as a replacement."

"Oh please! We are in the same tribe now! What's mine is yours." She said.

"Thank you, Mika," Omni said as he got up from his seat.

After we created some wood walls from the resources Mika gave us, I created a small log cabin.

"Nicely done," Omni said.

"Why thank you," I replied.

I had put a fence around the front of the house with a feeding trough for our animals.

I took out our babies and placed them near the trough.

Then Blue stomped over.

"What the hell are you doing here? Haven't you stolen enough?"

"We haven't stolen anything?" Omni said.

"Yeah, you did! Those air conditioners and the generator!"

"Mika gave those to us, you were there when she did." Omni defended.

"Get out of my base." He demanded.

"You mean our base," I said mockingly as I walked up to him.

"What are you talking about?"

"Mika invited us to join the tribe," Omni explained.

"Without asking me?"

"She is the leader of the tribe you know," Omni said.

Then Blue picked up Omni by the chest plate and said, "You better shut your mouth before I shut it for you."

Then I grabbed him by the neck and squeezed which made him drop Omni.

"And then I'll shoot off the other foot." I quipped back.

He pushed my hand off him and stomped off.

"Thanks," Omni mumbled.

"I don't know why Mika puts up with this guy, he's a jerk to her too!" I exclaim.

"I know."

"I've got enough resources for some beds, let's go inside and call it a night," I suggest.

"Alright," Omni said, adjusting his chest plate.

...

The next day we woke to a knock at the door. It was The Ancient One!

"Sup my man!" I greeted.

"Hey, I see you've moved."

"Yeah… how did you get in?"

"I have my ways… like my Argy…"

"I see, come on in!"

Omni had come downstairs to greet Thug.

"So, since you're new, I thought you should read these."

Then he dropped a very thick book on our table.

"Woah… What's this?" I ask.

"These are creature dossiers, they give you information about every known creature on the Island. But more appear all the time."

Omni flipped through the book quickly, over his shoulder I saw that every page was newer than the last.

"Did you write these?" He asked.

"Not all of them, there were other survivors here before me over many years that wrote these… One of them was a very good friend of mine.

Only a few people are entrusted with this book, even fewer are entrusted to add to it." He continued.

"That's deep." I mused.

"And you entrust us to see it?" Omni asked.

"Yes, I do. You need to know what's in this book."

Over several hours we read through the entire book, learning about every creature from Compies to the mighty Giganotosaurus.

"Oh hey there's those little pests from the beach," Omni stated as he pointed at the compy page.

"I hate those things," I grumble.

"I am interested in that," Omni said as he pointed at the largest creepy crawly I've ever seen.

"The giant disgusting centipedes?" I ask dumbfounded.

"Exactly, the Arthropleura."

"If they had wings, I would puke on the spot," I say with disgust. (1)

"I'll be taming one of those soon. So you boys better get along." Omni threatens jokingly.

"I am in love with those Allos though. I like pack creatures." I say ignoring Omni.

"They are useful." Thug replied, reading the page.

"The next thing I'm going to tame is…" I say flipping randomly through the pages with my eyes closed.

"This," I said slamming my finger onto the page.

"A gigan…. A giganoto… A Gigantopithecus!"

"What's that?" Omni asks, leaning over to the book.

"A big stupid monkey." Thug said dryly.

"Huh, well that's right up your alley isn't it?" Omni said jokingly to me.

"Yeah, yeah whatever. How do you tame it."

Thug looks at me, then Omni, then back at me.

"You have to become a bush."

"I'm sorry what?" I ask, confused.

"Do you know what ghillie armor i- Oh wait stupid question. I'll get you some."

"Sweet!"

As Thug gets up to get the armor, Omni buts in.

"How do you tame the Arthro?" Omni asked.

"Honestly I've never tried. One of my predecessors may have mentioned their attempts in the dossier" Thug admitted.

"Or maybe you'll be the first person stupid enough to actually try to get near it." He continued.

"At least it's more exciting than becoming a bush." Omni quipped.

"Hey!" I yell at him.

"If you're gonna take on Arthro's you might wanna be a bit stronger, they absolutely shred through armor," Thug mentioned as he walked back in with a bundle of grass in his arms.

"More like melt," I said gesturing to the paragraph about it spitting its own boiling blood.

"Even better!" Omni exclaimed.

I simply facepalmed at his antics.

Omni suddenly snatched the book from my hands and ran to the other side of the room.

"HEY! Get back here, you little twerp!"

"OOH! I want this thing as well!" he exclaimed as he turned the book around to show me the page almost like he was a child.

"That is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in my entire life. More than the Arthro." I started after seeing a picture of the Araneo.

"At that point, you might as well live in the caves." Thug mentioned.

"Good idea! I might do that," he exclaimed.

Me and Thug just sighed at his overexcitement.

Then Thug walked back to me with what seemed to be a pile of leaves sewed together.

"Put this on." He said.

"Uhhhh, ok?"

It took me a while to figure out what went where but I eventually put on the armor.

"Yay! I'm a living bush now." I exclaimed sarcastically.

"Good for you, now go look for some monkeys," Omni replied.

"I shall do so!"

I then ran out to see that all three of our Argy's are now fully grown!

I quickly made a saddle for Blackbolt and mounted him.

Once I got him to lift off I rolled off the back of the saddle and landed on the grass head first.

Blackbolt landed beside me and helped me get back up.

"This is so overrated," I mutter as I mount again.

I sat differently this time on my knees, with my feet in the back.

This time when we took off I had more balance.

At first, I was freaking out, but I eventually composed myself.

We shot through the sky at what seemed to be the speed of light.

I think the skin on my face rippled at one moment when we dived toward the ground.

Once we landed beside some of the incredibly large trees of the Redwoods, I quickly analyzed my surroundings.

I heard lots of commotion, from screeches to snorts to roars.

Then I heard lots of stomping getting increasingly louder so I mounted Blackbolt and shot to the skies as fast as I could.

As soon as we took off there was a snap right behind us.

There was a group of four Allo's about to attack.

I flew high and far from them toward the shore of the Redwoods.

There were lots of different creatures.

Terror birds were chasing anything and everything in their little flocks, Theri's patrolled everywhere attacking all carnivores that wanted some chicken dinner, There were frogs, Stego's, Trike's, and… a Human?

I dove down toward them to say hi but then realized that this wasn't a human.

"Monkey!" I said aloud as I dove out of its view.

I hid behind some bushes in my bush armor and positioned Mejo berries all over me.

I then slowly shifted through the bushes in my armor and stood still once I made it in view of the Giganto.

It noticed movement and walked forward, grunting in confusion. It sniffed me and started to walk away.

I didn't want it to go away so, not thinking, I shot my arm up with a handful of Mejo berries.

That was stupid.

The monkey, not understanding what's going on, just took the berries, sat on the spot, and started eating them.

I slowly pulled my arm closer to me to read its taming process and the blue rectangle thingy popped up saying 50% tamed.

Once it disappeared I noticed the monkey looking right at me, trying to figure out what it just saw. My heart dropped and my eyes went wide. But the monkey didn't seem to care and kept eating. After a while of standing like a statue with my arm out, it finally tamed. It looked around for its new owner and started to get confused. As it was looking away I took off my glove and held my arm out in the same position. Once it looked back it saw my hand and sniffed it, trying to figure out what I am. It followed my arm to my bush costume and pushed the leaves away from my face. I smiled at him and then he realized who I was.

Then he started to laugh and he rolled onto his back. I then played with him for a moment and brought him to Blackbolt.

Once we came back to base I landed at our cabin. The monkey jumped down and greeted the other creatures we had. Thug then appeared beside me which startled me at first.

"You got one! Good job my dude." He congratulated me.

"Thanks!"

"What're you gonna name him?"

"I'm thinking of Kong," I said.

"Nice."

I then walked up to him and he grabbed me. He lifted me up and put me on his shoulders. We dashed around the entire base very fast, with Kong laughing in his grunt-like tone the whole time.

Once we finally got back, we tumbled to the ground with both of us laughing. Once we did that someone stomped over.

"What do you think you're doing?" Blue asked.

"Having fun. Is that ok with you?"

"Ugh! What is that!?" He exclaimed.

"This is Kong, my Gigantopithecus," I replied.

Kong got up and greeted Blue with a grunt.

"Get that fat... thing out of here! It's dropping loads everywhere! And if you don't I swear you will regret it."

As Blue is threatening me he is slowly walking up toward me. Once he is within an inch of me, Kong backhands him to the ground.

Once Blue is propped up on his elbows, Kong slammed his fists into the ground on either side of his head and roars loud enough to make a person deaf.

Blue, in such fear, scrambles to his feet and dashes back to his base, ignoring the gorilla saliva coating his face.

"Good boy," I said as I petted Kong.

I then made Kong a small little hut out of wood that is connected to the cabin.

Once that was done, I heard a commotion from outside.

The main door was opening with four creatures trotting in, only two of them had riders.

I walked up to greet them.

"What's this?" I ask with a considerably wide smile on my face.

Omni and Mika had tamed four Allo's.

"Oh, this? This was easy."

"Really? Cuz that one tried to kill me earlier." I said pointing to the white and green one Omni was riding.

The Allo walked forward and made a low whining noise in what seemed to be some sort of apology. I petted him as Omni introduced them all.

"That is Centurion, this is Vanguard, Paladin, and Sentinel." He said.

"I love them." I mused, "Which one is the Alpha?"

"Paladin." He said pointing to Paladin with a flaming back.

"I think they'll get along with my Allo's." Mika mused.

"So? Did you get your monkey?" She asked.

"Yeah! Wanna meet him?"

"Yes please!" Mika shouted from behind Omni.

We walked over to Kong's hut and as soon as we approached and Kong saw us, he jumped on me playfully.

"Aww, that's so cute," Mika said.

"He seems kinda bored," Omni observed.

"Your right. I'll get another one." I said.

Omni slapped his palm to his face.

"Wow, you guys are really progressing." Thug said, "How long have you been here now?"

"A couple weeks," I said getting up from the ground with Kong beside me.

"Well, since you've come this far, I should show you the Fabricator and Chemistry bench."

"Ah, I'm good. You kids have fun." I said to Omni and Thug.

Omni rolled his eyes and followed Thug into the cabin.

"What started his obsession with exploring the caves?" Mika asked.

"Was he seriously still going on about that?" I asked.

"When we weren't in a serious situation it was all he would talk about. And while the Allo's were eating and we had built a wall around them, he sat on a rock pouring into that book." Mika admitted.

"Someone needs to take that book from him, he needs to chill about those Centipedes."

"Arthro's." Mika automatically corrected. "Ok yeah he talks about them way too much, even I'm starting to correct people." she joked.

"Hey Care, come in here please," Thug called from the door.

I said goodbye to Mika before I went into the house.

"I want to explain the island as best as I can because even we don't know everything about why or how this island works." he started.

"On the island we are seemingly immortal, if a dinosaur kills you, you come back to life after a couple minutes. The big towers or Obelisks seem to be aware when someone is killed, they take the body and recreate it using these really bright beams, they usually recreate people on the beaches, since that is the best location for all three beams to connect. I don't know how it works, or why they do it, all I know is that's what happens." he explained.

"So we could basically live here forever?" I asked.

"It's not really a continuous single life but I think so," Omni replied.

"Exactly." Thug stated.

"But you spoke of the previous writers of the book… What happened to them?" Omni asked.

"No one knows. They just all of a sudden disappeared. Currently, there are only three writers of the book left, myself included."

"Who are the others?" Omni asked.

"Someone by the name of Mary, and Autumn." Thug replied.

"They've been here for quite a while," Thug added.

"Are you worried you'll just disappear one day?" I asked.

"I don't know, we have no idea what causes it to happen, why it happens, who it happens to, or anything about it. For as much as we know about the island in this book, we know so little compared to all the big questions we ask about this place."

"If this place is so confusing why don't people just leave?" I asked.

"Do you think I'd still be here with you two idiots if I were able to?" Blue snapped as he barged in the door.

"We can't leave?" I asked.

"No, I built a raft before and went out to sea, after a short while I encountered massive waves and strong winds. All around the island." Thug replied.

"I took Hookfang out to try and leave, as soon as I got too far he turned and swam back to the shore no matter what I did, I even tranqed him close to falling asleep and he still turned and fled to the island," Omni admitted.

"You were gonna leave?"

"I left a note before I realized it wasn't possible, so I got rid of it to prevent any confusion," he replied.

"I assume every creature is like that." Thug mused.

"So there's no escape from the island?" I asked.

"Not that any of us know of." Thug replied.

"Well I'm gonna make life fun, Imma go read up on Arthro's," Omni said as he took the book and disappeared upstairs.

"I'm gonna go patrol a bit, get to know the landscape a bit more," I said as I walked out the doorway.

I jumped onto Centurion and saddled up. Kong came up to me grunting in the process.

"You wanna come too?" I asked him.

His grunting became faster once I said that.

"Alrighty come on then," I said as I walked on atop Centurion.

When we were about to go to the gate, Blue dashed over and jumped onto Blackbolt and flew away.

"HEY! YOU DIDN'T ASK!" I yelled.

Nothing in response.

I went to the gate anyway, as I was opening the gate, Mika stopped me.

She waved me to come back to the cabin so I closed the door and did so.

"You should bring the other Allo's, they'll gather meat faster." She said.

"Alright, you wanna come too?" I asked.

"Sure!" She said mounting Artemis, her Allo.

We each made each Allo follow one of us, including Mikas Allo's and Kong.

Once we left Mika dashed into the woods at full speed, with her other Allo's following: Apollo, Alpha, beta, and Pinky.

I followed them with Kong ahead of me and Sentinel, Vanguard, and Paladin behind me.

We jumped over logs, dashed around trees, all at an extremely fast speed.

"THIS IS AWESOME!" I hooted.

Mika laughed in response and charged faster toward a Rex.

I whistled all creatures to attack it. Kong jumped onto its face to distract it while all of our Allo's slammed into its side. We knocked it into a tree as Kong smashed its head in.

The Allo's harvested the meat while I tossed Kong a branch of berries.

As I dismounted I saw something in the distance. It was a blue colored beacon in the middle of the forest.

Once I got close The beacon disappeared and a diamond-shaped box dropped to the ground.

It opened up and revealed its contents.

"10 amber… Ramshackle Chitin helmet and… a medium crop plot blueprint."

Mika started laughing as soon as I said crop plot, "that's a supply drop, it's known for giving people crop plots: basically the most common item due to their constant appearances in supply drops."

"I see," I said as I examined the amber.

Kong stomped over and took out the helmet.

He turns it over a few times to examine it.

He then flips it upside down and puts it on his head.

"I think he likes it." Mika said.

"Ah, he can keep it. I don't like wearing bug scales."

After we got back with our meat, I deposited most of it into the feeding trough and put some berries in there as well for Kong and Ursa if she wants it.

I walked inside to see lots of new machines and furniture inside. There were two extra white benches beside the smithy, one with beakers and a generator powering it, and another table with lots of wheels and pipes on it.

A very chemical, oily smell permeated the air.

"Hey, Thug helped me get some Industrial grade stuff!" Omni called from upstairs.

"Oh wait never mind, this is Mechanical grade, Industrial is the next step." he corrected.

Omni came downstairs to greet us after a moment.

"How was your scouting mission?" he asked.

"It was good, we got some meat, and we found a supply drop," I answered.

"Did you find a cave?" he asked excitedly after a moment.

"K you need to chill about those bugs, put your focus on getting more machine thingies," I said sternly.

"I am, I can't even attempt to get the arthros without the 'machine thingies'."

"Whatever." I sighed, "have you at least focused for long enough to learn something useful from Thug about these things?" I asked.

"Yep, these are Shocking darts, they have a similar function to the spear I used before, but it's able to be used from further away and far more potent."

"So they're stronger than the spear?" I clarify.

"Yeah pretty much."

"How much you got?" I asked.

"Only a couple, I have two and we have resources for three more," he explained.

"Keep me on the waiting list then." I joked.

I walked out to see Blue stomping over on his Rex.

"I have a proposal." He said atop his beast.

"We have a one-on-one battle. Whoever wins gets to decide who stays. If I win you leave. If you win you stay."

"Does one-on-one also include Dino's?" I said gesturing to his Rex.

"Yes, only one, however."

"Alright, when will it take place?"

"Tomorrow at sunset." He announced.

"Alright, agreed. See you then, turd blossom." I quipped. (2)

I then walked over to Mika. Who had just finished putting away the Allo's.

"I heard." She said reading my mind, "You do realize I am the leader of this tribe right? I can kick him out with the snap of my fingers."

"I know, but someone needs to beat the sense into him."

"You won't win, his Rex is very strong."

"I know, but I have an idea, I will need your help though," I stated.

"How so?"

"I need to tame a Rex."

...

We crouched through the tall grass in the deep forest. We had heard something being hunted through this area. We turned the corner to find a bright red Rex, feasting on a dead Stego's carcass.

"There he is," Mika said slowly lifting her longneck rifle. "You ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be," I started doing the same.

"Remember, as soon as we shoot it will charge, so try to reload as fast as possible." She reminded me.

I then shot him in the side instantly. The electricity from the shot tranq branched around the area of the vial. The Rex roared in pain and saw us. As soon as he looked in our direction, Mika shot him in the face. This temporarily blinded him to make him crash into a tree.

Once he regained his sight, he charged for me. Luckily at this time I had fully reloaded and shot him in the face again.

This was just enough to make him collapse and slide through the grassy plain.

I rushed forward to feed it. It made a satisfied growling noise once I did so.

After several feeds of both narcotics and meat, it finally tamed.

It was a male, with red and black scales.

"What are you gonna name him?" Mika asked, gently caressing the Rex's snout.

"Drago Bloodfist sounds cool," I stated.

"Who's that?"

"I don't know, the name just came to me, like one of those memories you have when you're really little but can only recall some parts of it."

"Wait, you're getting memories?" She asked.

"Barely anything, just some blurry frames, and a couple names. Hey, that rhymed!"

Mika chuckled and walked us back.

Once we got back it was sunset. As soon as we walked through, Blue was preparing his Rex.

As soon as he saw us he laughed and said, "Really? You're copying me now?"

"Nah, I just wanted to be on par with you to make this fair."

"Fair for me or fair for you?"

"I'll let you figure that out."

We walked over to an open area in the base. Blue had one side, and I had the other.

"Let's put down some rules first." I state, "No killing, human or Dino. The loser is the first to yield."

"Fine."

We both mounted our Rex's and roared at each other.

Then we both charged and slammed into each other. Drago grabbed the Rex's shoulder with its jaws and pulled it down, almost crushing Blue.

He got up and slammed his head into Drago's chest, pushing us back.

It was hard to fight with Rex's because of their massive heads, it was very hard to move around and directly attack the opponent.

After a while of thrashing and pushing, Blue was finally able to flip us over. But once he did so, his Rex put Drago in a chokehold with its jaws, and he started to bite in hard. The glint in his eye told me full well that he didn't intend to halt even if I yielded.

"WAIT!" I screamed out of desperation.

Suddenly, Kong rushed forth from the cabin and slammed into the Rex's face.

The Rex was knocked away long enough for me to get up along with Drago.

Kong started to raise his fists over the Rex.

"KONG! STOP!" I yelled.

He looked over to me in a confused grunt and ran over.

"What is happening?" Omni shouts as he stomps out of the cabin.

"THAT'S CHEATING!" Blue yelled from under his Rex.

"YOU CHEATED FIRST!" I yelled in return, "YOU WERE GOING TO KILL MY REX!"

"I was not!" He yelled, getting out from under his Rex, "I was only holding him down!"

"We both know that's not true!" I replied.

Suddenly a small explosion erupted between us.

A bright ball of blinding light distracted both me and Blue. We turned to the source and saw Omni holding a small gun.

"SHUT UP, I can't read with you two shouting and thrashing each other!" he shouted at both of us.

"You and your stupid book! I swear you people are the most self-centered jerks I know!" Blue shouted in return.

I wanted to explode from anger.

I walked over to Blue who whipped out a handgun at me in return. I kept walking and grabbed the gun from him. It misfired behind us as I ripped it from his grasp. I grab him by the neck and pin him to the wall.

"So I hear there's this respawn thing here," I whisper into his ear as I rotate the gun toward him.

"Shall we test that theory?" I asked, cocking the gun.

He whispered "nononononono" in return.

"Die slowly, you hypocrite."

I slowly pointed the gun to his heart and pulled the trigger.

Behind me Omni coughed.

"Well… that escalated quickly," Mika commented.

"He deserved it." I said dropping him and watching him die.

"We can't deny that." Omni agreed.

After he finally bled out and I looted his inventory, I explained what had happened to Omni and Mika, neither of whom were aware that Blue was even close to killing Drago before Kong got involved. After a minute Blue's corpse turned white, flickered, and then dissolved. A moment later, three white beams of bright light shot out of each obelisk and seemed to hit the beach outside the base.

Walking outside we found blue standing there, banging on the gate to be let in.

We opened the gate and stood in front of him.

I smirked at his loss of everything. To rub it in I wore his helmet.

Mika stood next to me with her hand on her hip.

Omni stood on the other side of her with his arms crossed and no expression on his face.

"Did you seriously try and kill their Rex?" Mika asked.

"No, I just held him in a submissive position, he just couldn't accept defeat and cheated like a sore loser!" he retorted.

Mika and I were about to say something in response but Omni stepped forward.

"I don't like Rex's, but I'd never break the agreed-upon rules just to kill one… you on the other hand…" he stated eerily emotionless.

In a flash, the long-barreled rifle was slung from his back and fired before anyone could say another word.

The force of the bullet sent Blue flying out into the water, where we saw a faint white glow, later the three Obelisks powered up and their beams blasted into the beach just east of our base.

"Well done." I mused.

I then took Blue's armor and left them at the doorstep outside.

"Thanks for giving me an excuse to kick him from the tribe," Mika said.

"What do we do with his Dino's?" Omni asked.

"Give him the Rex and that's it. It's all he ever used that was actually his."

"Where'd you get those guns?" Mika asked Omni.

"I made them. A flare gun and a Sniper Rifle, I would have made an assault rifle and a bunch of stuff for you but I ran out of materials. The Sniper really cost a lot." he replied.

They continued talking about guns when I led Blue's Rex outside with a slab of prime meat.

I opened the door and tossed it out with the Rex stomping toward it.

I then made a sign that said, 'Be happy we are giving you anything at all. Sincerely, Care.'

Once I had placed the sign and locked out the Rex, I headed back to Drago to see how he was doing.

He had deep gashes on the sides of his face and neck with bleeding scratches all over him.

I then bandaged him up, he would be fine in the morning.

When I walked back to the cabin, I heard a loud rumbling noise. Going inside I found Omni once again using the Fabricator, he seemed to be making some kind of thin suit, it seemed to be a wetsuit.

Behind him leaning against the wall was a bright orange tank. On a chair next to it were a pair of flippers and a full face mask.

As I was about to ask what he was doing, Mika walked in.

"Ooh! Scuba gear. You guys planning on swimming any time soon?"

"I guess he is?" I said referring to Omni.

"Cool. Well, I'm bored. Wanna do something?" She asked excitedly.

"Do what?" I asked in return.

"I don't know, something fun."

"Wanna help me tame another monkey? Kong has been pretty bored lately."

"Nah, that's not really fun. Let's do something… with action, ya know?"

"Alright… What do you suggest?" Omni asked.

"We could raid someone?" She said with a devilish look on her face.

"There's other people here?" I perked up.

"Yeah of course! New people come here every day."

"I assumed as much, but I have yet to see anyone other than you, Thug, and Blue." Omni mentioned as he looked over the swimsuit.

"Well, I'm gonna go saddle up the Allo's. You may want to take Kong and your Spino's as well, some people have some really strong Dino's."

"Will do." I replied, "I'll saddle up Drago and Hookfang."

"I'll pass, We're running out of oil and other materials, I'm gonna go gather resources. have fun." Omni said as he walked into another room with the swimsuit.

"Your loss, this is one of my favorite things to do around here." She replied to him.

"I may join you one time, but today I can't," he replied as the door closed.

We both rushed out and saddled up our carnivores. All four Allo's both of Mika's Spino's and Hookfang, Drago, and of course, Kong.

At this time, it became very dark. Perfect for laying low undetected.

Surprisingly, Drago's wounds had mostly healed, so I saddled him up and led him to the entrance along with the other Dino's.

As we left the gate we saw Omni slip into the water and disappear as a silhouette beneath the surface.

"Oh, he is so gonna die," Mika said as she watched him fade into the depths.

"We all rush through the woods, Allo's in front, Mika's Spino's at the sides, Hookfang and Drago in the back, and Kong in the front as well.

Once we got into the deepest part of the forest, Mika started to slow down. As she was listening, a Raptor jumped up toward Drago, but he caught him with his massive jaws and swallowed.

Mika was slowly walking forward on Artemis as we started to see a decent sized wood house.

"How many do you think are in there?" I whispered.

"From the looks of it, probably two or three. There are a decent amount of Dino's and I think I can see into their house." She observed.

There were three Rex's, a Bronto, a Spino, and five Raptors.

"Do you think we can take that?" I asked.

"Care, we have nine Allo's. That alone would destroy them."

"That's good enough for me." I mused as I slowly walked forward.

Once we got close, and the Dino's separated from the entrance, I told Kong to rush the house and break in. He did so, and as soon as he broke down the door the other Dino's saw him and tried to stop him.

This gave us the element of surprise. We all dash toward them and throw them to the ground. Hookfang took care of the raptors while Drago and the Spino's took on the Bronto.

All of the Allo's, including us riding them, faced off with the Rex's. They were slow, which made this battle very easy.

They all targeted Centurion, the Allo I was riding, so I jumped on their backs as the dove at me, and grabbed one of them by the neck as I ran down its back, breaking its neck in the process.

The other Allo's corner the other two Rex's and finish them off.

Once the Rex's were dead, I looked over to our other creatures. Drago, Hookfang, and the other Spino's were eating into the Bronto, with Raptor corpses everywhere.

I dismounted and walked toward the house. Kong walked out with blood on his hands.

I went in to see three people flattened into the ground from Kong pummeling them.

They all had Flak armor and guns at their hands. I called Kong to check for bullet wounds.

He had one in the arm, but it wasn't that bad.

Both me and Mika looted their base and headed back.

Once we were back, Omni was waiting for us in the water in front of the gate, on top of an angler!

"Sweet ride." I joked as we walked over.

"Thanks, he's really fast."

"It's ugly…" Mika cringed.

"Its name is Depthcharge." Omni shot back, slightly offended.

"Also he can carry a surprising amount for his size, he's also smart enough to collect some resources without me having to get off to do it, and he creates his own floodlights to see." He continued.

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that," Mika muttered as she shivered and backed away.

"I'll admit he's really ugly, but he's got his uses." Omni stated.

"What's your excuse for wanting an Arthro then?" I jabbed.

"To bother you." he replied without missing a beat.

"That's it?"

"That's one motivating point, yes."

"Well, we got some stuff, wanna come in while we log it?" I ask.

"Sure."

Once we walk in, I drop the bag of loot on the table inside our cabin.

Omni digs through it to find, "A mastercraft Chitin chest plate!

Can I have this pleeeeeease?"

"Sure." I chuckled. I dumped out the bag onto the table and scanned through the objects.

"Apprentice sword, Ramshackle Flak helmet, Ascendant pump-action shotgun, Primitive rocket launcher, and a Journeyman Allosaurus saddle." I state.

"Wow, that's a lot of good stuff." Mika mused.

"Well let me tell you my haul." Omni said after.

"200 pounds of oil, 150 pounds of silica pearls, 20 pounds of black pearls, and 200 pounds of raw metal."

"Wow, that's quite the haul." Mika complimented.

"Now I just need a polymer to make more stuff with the Fabricator." he added.

"Penguins are a good source of a substitute."

"I might look into that."

"Well, I'm tired so I'm heading off to bed." I declared.

"Yeah, me too." Omni agreed.

"Alright, see y'all in the morning." Mika said.

The next day I got out of bed fast. I ran out of the house and around the base, checking everything.

Omni rushed out to me, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, it's just every time when we wake up something bad happens."

"Really?"

Then there was a loud commotion outside, and then something started to attack the stone battlements.

I rushed over to Blackbolt to see what was happening.

Once we got to the skies, I could see several Rex's and Spino's attacking the wall.

Mika had heard the commotion and got on her Argy as well.

"What's going on?" She asked in a panic.

"Raiders, probably affiliated with the people we killed." I suggested.

"Get everything ready, they will break down that wall very soon."

We both dove back to the ground. I got all the large carnivores to the wall that was about to be demolished.

I put Kong and the Allo's in the back and Every other creature around them.

Omni climbed a segment of wall that wasn't being destroyed and stood on the top.

He started to snipe them from there but was shot down as a result.

I dashed over to him, laying in a crater in the ground he created from the fall.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine, I dodged the bullet but lost my balance." he replied with a groan as he lifted himself up.

"That was a big fall man, are you sure you're alright?"

"Yes! Now defend the base. There are four riders."

"I did kill one while up there," he admitted.

"Good. Thank you."

"All in a day's work." he replied as he stood up and walked back to the cabin.

I quickly mounted Drago and waited for them to break down the wall.

Once they did the wall crumbled to reveal all their creatures.

Two Rex's, Three Spino's and several Raptors, about 15 of them.

Then from behind them, something was walking up.

It was Blue atop his bronze-colored Rex.

"Welcome back!" I shouted, "I see you've made some friends as well!"

"These were the people you raided, they followed you back here when I picked up my Rex, thanks for the note by the way. We have decided to join ranks to take you down."

"Well then? Come and get me!" I said as I whipped out my shot-gun and charged him on Drago.

He did the same with the other two men following.

We all clashed together, Allo's and Spino's fighting their Raptors and Spino's and myself fighting Blue as Omni attempted to snipe him from his position atop our cabin.

Blue's Rex was very strong, I knew I wouldn't win this on my own.

I then called Kong to take them down. He jumped onto his Rex and grabbed him off of his mount.

He then threw him over to Omni.

"Well hello there!" He said as a shot rang out.

Blue's body fell flat just as I managed to throw his Rex on top of him with the aid of Kong.

Drago stepped onto the Rex's side. He then grabbed onto its neck with his jaws and twisted.

Hookfang then walked over with both of the other raiders, dead in his mouth.

We then walked over to Mika, who was petting one of her Spino's that was on the ground.

I rushed over to see if everything was ok.

Her Spino had sustained a serious amount of damage, but it was still alive.

You could hear it struggling to breathe.

But Mika just laid beside it, petting it.

There were several claw marks and gunshot wounds all over the Spino, it seems on punctured its lung.

It looked at Mika, made a purring sound, and closed its eyes, letting out one last breath.

"Goodbye, Neptune," Mika whispered.

"Sorry, Mika," I said.

"It's ok, sometimes you lose some Dino's. You just have to learn to move on."

"I get that. What do you want us to do with the body?" I asked.

"Let me handle it." She said.

"Alright," I replied as I walked off.

We tended to our creatures before we went back to loot the raiders.

We found an Apprentice pike, a Journeyman sword, a Ramshackle Assault Rifle, and a Primitive pistol among other random materials.

Using these materials we started repairs on the wall and Omni made me an assault Rifle,

He also made a Chemistry bench and put it next to the Fabricator but had yet to get it to work.

He tried using it but found that it wouldn't turn on, even though he put in Gasoline.

I left to get Mika from outside the base to see if she would know but found her with her Spino still. So I simply waited silently behind her.

Beyond the Spino was a small wooden raft laying dormant on the beach.

I called Kong over and helped her push the Spino onto the raft. Once it had been shifted onto the raft Omni came outside carrying the rocket launcher from our raid. He handed it to Mika who stood at the end of the beach, Kong pushed the raft out to the water before returning behind us.

Once it was out to sea Mika lifted the Rocket launcher and fired, making the raft explode in flame, still drifting into the unknown.
