Chapter 4: A Siblings Bond, Is It Truly Gone?

That night after she had put her daughters to bed, she felt a dark presence in the room. "Aiden, I know you're there. Can we take this somewhere else? I just got Harmony and Melody to sleep" she whispered. She heard him sigh and she then felt his presence move. She then walked onto the patio in the backyard and sat on the swing. She saw his form appear out of dark smoke and she pat the space beside her. "I see you got my note" Aiden said bluntly. "Indeed I did" she responded calmly.

"And you saw what's been happening. I admit, I thought that Radicles was stupid but I can see that I may have been mistaken. I never expected him to take Nebula to you. Clever of him to do so since I told her not to tell anyone about the other night. So tell me sister, what do you intend on doing about it? Do you plan on sending me to another dimension like last time?" he taunted.

"No. I intend on righting whatever went wrong all those years ago. It was my fault that you turned out this way. I should have paid more attention to you" she admitted and Aiden scoffed. "Then why didn't you help me get Nebula? You clearly saw how much I was in love with her!" he roared and Azra shushed him. "I know that you're the bad guy and all but can you please not yell? My girl's are sleeping and when they are awake it can be difficult to get them back to sleep" she said. "Why didn't you help me get the girl?" he hissed.

"Because, she was and still is in love with Radicals. It's wrong to try and break them up especially after all they have been through together" Azra responded. Aiden glared at her and deep in his eyes, she saw something. "You're lonely" she said and Aiden's eyes widened in surprise. "I am not!" he insisted. "Then why do you attack and torment everyone? What is it that you want?" she asked. "I want Nebula and I want to control all the magic in the universe so that I may rule over all" he revealed and Azra let out a sigh. They went silent for a moment and Aiden sat next to Azra on the swing.

"So… you have two huh?" he asked after a while and Azra could sense the old Aiden in him.

"You know, it broke my heart to not see you at Puck and I's wedding… Ever since that day, I've missed you so much! I always imagined you in my life and it crushes me that I was the reason why! I would love for you to be in Harmony and Melody's lives…" she then trailed off. "Sorry, I'm being selfish again. I just-" she let out a sigh "I just want my brother back in my life" she admitted. "And as I told you years ago, that Aiden is gone" he stated. He noticed Azra's gaze lower to the ground and a small part of him felt bad. He let out a sigh and he looked to the sky as the stars were appearing.

"You know, it wasn't totally your fault that I turned out this way" he said and Azra stared at him in awe. He then cleared his throat and scratched the back of his neck, something that he used to do when he was nervous.

"I choose this path and there is nothing you can do about it. I will have my revenge and I know that you will try and stop me. Whether you like it or not, we are destined to battle again. That is because of me and you should be resenting me. I know that you will still have some sort of hope that I will change, but I warn you that I won't! It is useless to try and change me and I know that it is just as futile to try and get you to join me. All we can do now is continue on the paths that we are on and see where destiny leads us" he said emotionlessly.

"I know… But, I will never stop trying to get you back" she responded seriously and Aiden sighed. "Two huh?" Aiden as he looked up to the window of the two girls and Azra nodded. "I assume that they are Puck's" he said and Azra nodded. "Do they have his wings?" he asked and Azra nodded. "The girl's are so excited to start their flying lessons once their wings are big enough" she said with a small happy sigh. "Do they possess magic?" Aiden asked and Azra glared at him. "Don't even try to target my babies! You can attack me all you want but do not even try to target my little were-angels!" she threatened.

"So, are you going to report me tomorrow? You know that I'll just disappear and reappear somewhere else" he said bluntly as the wind lightly blew his hair and clothes. "I do intend on letting the others know. There's probably no chance of me trying to get you to stop am I correct?"" she said and Aiden nodded. "Remember when we were kids how-" she started but Aiden held up a hand. "Azra, don't even try that. You know that it won't work! We are no longer siblings, we are enemies!" he said harshly. "I know, but as I said, I will never stop trying.I know that the old you is there. Even if it's deep, deep down, he's still there and I will never stop trying to get him!" Azra said determinedly. "Then I will see you on the battlefield. Because you have not tried to attack me, I will give you a warning. Don't get too comfortable, because the real battle has already begun" he said.

They then heard a knocking on the patio door and Azra turned her head to see Puck motioning her to come back inside. "Ah, I guess the girl's insisted on a song" Azra said with a small laugh. "Aiden, Do you want to-" She said as she then looked back to Aiden to see that he was no longer there. Puck walked out to the patio and put a hand on her shoulder. She shook her head and he went back inside the house.

"Yo nen kai sou dai bai sen" she said as the wind blew softly.

Unknown to her, Aiden was watching her go back into the house and he let out a breath. "Jai,sou dai yen bay sai" he said and he then disappeared in a cloud of dark smoke.
