Kyurem Captured
Location: Humilau City
"Well," I said. "Will this be it? The final blow?"
"I hope," Hugh said. "Because if we don't stop them now… no. We will stop them. Together. So. Where's Marlon?"
"I asked him yesterday," I said. "And… he refuses to help. He doesent' seem bothered by Team Plasma's actions."
"WHAT?!" Hugh said. "That makes me… urgh. Okay. Well, let's head down Route 21. It goes to a place called Seaside Cave."
"Wait, there is one more thing I want to do." I sent out Growlithe. "Growlithe has learned the move Flare Blitz recently, so I think it's time." I got out the Fire Stone. "Grab it boy!" Growlithe caught the Fire Stone in its jaw. When it did, it started glowing. And in no time at all, it was an Arcanine!
"Hey," Hugh said. "That means that your team is now fully evolved! Great job!"
"We shouldn't be wasting anymore time," I said. "Let's head off!"
"One last thing quickly," I said. "I'll be back in about an hour. Get yourself ready."
Location: Route 22
I ran north of Humilau City to find who I was looking for. It was the final Legendary I needed to meet.

"I got the message," I told it. "Are Cobalion and Virizion set?"
"You bet!" Terrakion replied back. "Tell you what, anyone who messes with Pokémon in the way Team Plasma does will have to mess with us to!"
"Thanks!" I said. "And thanks for the message, Colress."
The Scientist walked up behind me. "Good to be of service," he said. "I hear you're going down Route 21."
I nodded my head. "Yeah. Team Plasma I hope will be finished."
Colress went into his pocket. "Here. I used these to help move the Crustle out of the way back on Route 4, but you may need them."
"Thanks?" I said. "And we'll need Terrakion to."
"Nah," he said. "As a Rock Type, I hate the water. But if Team Plasma head down to the Giant Chasm, that could mean trouble. We'll attack there."
Suddenly, from behind a rock, an old friend appeared. It was shy as ever, but I knew it could be useful.
"Who's this?" Colress asked.
"Meloetta!" I said. "It's a fascinating Pokémon! Hey, you wanna help us?"
Meloetta smiled.
"Careful out there," Terrakion said.
Location: Route 21
"You nervous?" I asked Hugh.
"A bit. You?" he asked back.
I patted him on the shoulder. "Yeah, but you've been by my side since day one! We can do it, can't we!"
"Sure!" he said. "Come on! Let's kick some Plasma butt!"
With that, we got on Azumarill and Simipour respectively and started sailing. We were in a hurry.
Too bad a Swimmer didn't get the memo.
"I like to be with my Octillery in the shade!"

"Come out Serperior!" I shouted.
"Octillery, I choose you!" Harold shouted.

"Leaf Blade!" I shouted. Serperior swiped Octillery across the face. Critical Hit! Octillery was down in one!
"Yeah. I'm starting to burn."
After some more surfing across the water, we got to another sandbank where we came across a Black Belt.
"Rosa," Hugh asked. "Can… I do this one please?"
"Be my guest!" I said.
Hugh walked in front of the Black Belt.
"Part of being a Black Belt means having a strong Defense!"
Hugh Vs. Black Belt Kenneth
"Go Emboar!" Hugh shouted.
"Go Crustle!" Kenneth responded.
"Okay Emboar, Flamethrower!" Emboar spat fire at Crustle, doing about half damage to it.
"Crustle, Rock Slide!" Crustle made rocks fall from the air onto Emboar, but it didn't seem to mind.
"One more Flamethrower!" Emboar spat one more torrent of flames at Crustle, taking it down.
"Guess I didn't think about Sp. Defense…"
We got to the entrance of the cave shortly after that.
"This cave was apparently created by erosion," I told Hugh. "Over millions of years."
"Shouldn't take us that long to get through," he replied. "Purrloin. If I can't retrieve you, you be sure I'll avenge you."
Location: Seaside Cave
Seaside Cave didn't seem like it would be much of a challenge; on the contrary, it looked quite short.
"We need to head on," Hugh said. "I hope the Frigate is there."
As we walked on, two Pokémon attacked. There was a Boldore and a white Pokémon that was blubbery.

The colder it gets, the better it feels. It joyfully swims around oceans so cold that they are filled with floating ice.
"Go Simipour!" Hugh said.
"Serperior, I choose you!" I said in unison. "Leaf Blade!" Serperior swiped its glowing-green tail across Seel's face, taking it down.
"Simipour, Scald!" Simipour shot boiling water at Boldore. It would have taken it down if Boldore didn't have Sturdy. Boldore used Rock Slide, sending rocks tumbling onto Simipour and Serperior.
"Another Leaf Blade!" Serperior fainted Boldore.
With that done, we continued walking through the damp cavern. We talked along the way.
"Hey," Hugh said. "I know there's a lot of weight on our shoulders at the moment, but don't let that get you down; we have eight Badges! That's impressive! And once Team Plasma are donezo, we can take on the Pokémon League!"
I smiled. "You're right Hugh. We've been working our way towards this! Both of us!"
To get down some stairs, I had to battle a Battle Girl.
"For pities sake, can't I just train alone?"
Rosa Vs. Battle Girl Tia
"Come out Heracross!" Tia shouted, as her bulky Bug Type entered the fray.
"Flygon, you're up!" I replied. "Use Dragon Tail!" Flygon's tail started glowing, and it hit Heracross.
"Megahorn!" Heracross' horn started glowing this time. It then rammed into Flygon with it. Flygon stepped back a bit.
"This Bug means business. Use Dragon Tail again!" Flygon hit Heracross with its tail once more.
"Close Combat!" Heracross started punching and kicking Flygon repeatedly, delivering the final blow.
"Good job anyway Flygon. Okay Arcanine, go!" I shouted. "Use Flamethrower!" Arcanine shot fire at Heracross, finishing the job.
"Hey, that was kinda fun actually."
When we got down the stairs, we came across a body of water.
"Here," I said, handing Hugh a Max Repel. "We can't have anymore distractions. Let's just get across this water and take down Team Plasma."
We sprayed it all over our respective bodies and used Surf to the other side.
"The exit!" I said. "It's… in the way of these square rocks."
"We can walk across them," Hugh said. He tried getting on one of them, but he was shook off. "The rocks alive!"
"Heck yeah they are," I said. I got out the Colress MCHN and the Crustle started going crazy. One attacked at that moment.
"Serperior, go!" I shouted. "Use Giga Drain!" Serperior drained away a good chunk of Crustle's HP. Crustle then came back with a Super Effective X-Scissor. "One more Giga Drain!" Serperior sapped away the rest of Crustle's energy. It was down.
After that, all the Crustle scuttled away.
"Amazing!" Hugh said. "Okay, let's get to the Frigate!"
"Hold on," I said, looking at the MCHN. "How would Colress know that there was this specific obstacle? Do you think…"
"Rosa, buddy. We should stop thinking and get moving. This is our chance to end Team Plasma once and for all!"
I gulped. "You're right."
Location: Route 22
There it was; the big black ship of death. It froze Opelucid City and had helped Team Plasma get everywhere. And we were about to take it down. But surprisingly… Marlon was waiting for us!
"It's packed in there," he said. "Hey, sorry about yesterday. I was swimming and found this place and, I figured I would help."
"Great!" I said. "We can raid it together!"
"Sorry, can't," he replied. "I'll let Team Plasma do what they want to do, but I won't stop you from preventing what they want to do."
"That's selfish!" Hugh said. "Look, I know you're a bit late to the Plasma game here, but-"
"Enough," I said. "It's time to strike a blow on Team Plasma. We can't afford anymore delays. Marlon, I know what you said, but call for backup just in case."
Marlon nodded and jumped back in the sea. As for us, we went back onto the Deck…
Location: Plasma Frigate
"We're back," I said.
"Then it's best we stop believing and start doing," I said.
"More like start leaving!" Two Grunts appeared before us.
"We're here to stop you!" I yelled. "Hugh, wanna team up?"
Hugh grabbed one of his Pokéballs. "Heck yeah."
Rosa and Hugh Vs. Plasma Grunts M and F
"Go Flygon!" I shouted.
"Emboar, you're up!" Hugh exclaimed.
"Golbat, come out!" the M Grunt said.
"Seviper, you to!" the F Grunt yelled, as the Grunts sent out their Pokémon.
"Golbat, Air Cutter!" Golbat fired streaks of air at both Pokémon. Being a Fighting Type, Emboar took the worst damage.
"Ground Type moves won't work on Golbat, so I'll get it out of here. Flygon, Dragon Tail!" Flygon hit Golbat with its glowing tail and forced it back to the Plasma Grunt. A large-pink Pokémon with sharp claws was then sent out unwillingly.

It takes pride in its strength. Even though it can tear foes apart, it finishes them off with powerful poison.

"Okay Seviper, Poison Jab!" Seviper's tail went pink, and it jabbed Emboar. Upon impact, Emboar was poisoned.
"Oh no! Emboar, Heat Crash!" Emboar covered itself in flames and landed on Seviper. It did quite a lot.
"Earth Power!" Flygon made the earth crack in front of it. It hit Drapion for quite a lot.
"Drapion, Ice Fang!" Suddenly, Drapion's fangs turned ice-cold. It bit Flygon for tons of damage and fainted it.
"No!" I yelled.
"We can still win!" said Hugh. "Emboar, Flamethrower!" Emboar fired, well, fire at Seviper. It was finished.
"Garbodor, go!" the F Grunt shouted sending in the smelly Pokémon.
"Come out Cinccino!" I shouted. "Use Tail Slap on Garbodor!" Cinccino hit Garbodor with its tails five times.
"Drapion, Cross Poison!" Drapion's claws went purple, and it slashed at Cinccino in an X formation, similar to X-Scissor. Cinccino was also poisoned.
"Emboar, Flamethrower again!" Emboar spat a torrent of flames at Drapion, dealing with it.
"Venoshock Garbodor!" Garbodor fired purple ooze at Emboar. Due to the poison (not that it was pretty weak at this point anyway), it was finished.
"Golbat, come out!" the Grunt shouted.
"Go Eelektross!" Hugh commanded.

It latches onto prey with its sucker mouth, sinking its fangs and shocking the prey with powerful electricity.

"Rock Blast Cinccino!" Cinccino fired five rocks at Golbat, though it only took four to take down the Flying Type.
"Eelektross, Crunch!" Eelektross sunk its fangs into Garbodor.
"Garbodor, Sludge Bomb!" Elektross fired a ball of purple goop at Eelektross, but it was doing fine.
"Tail Slap Cinccino!" Cinccino slapped Garbodor with its tails five more times, finishing it.
"PLLLAAAASSSMAAA!" shouted the Grunts.
"This isn't good," said the M Grunt. "As long as they don't know about the switch system…"
"What switch system?" I asked.
The F Grunt hit the M Grunt on the head. (Didn't Alder say they that this Plasma was less goofy?) "You let it slip!"
I looked at Hugh. "There must be some switches to flip in the next room. Come on!" We both saw some stairs that led down at the north, so we descended.
Below was a corridor with multiple entrances. There was also a warp pad, which we presumed would lead to where we wanted to go. Not that we could without the switches.
"It might be quicker if we split up," I said. "We won't have backup, but-"
"We don't need it!" Hugh said. "We're strong, aren't we? You're right. Let's try and find those switches. Oh, and if you find Purrloin, show them what for."
I gave him the pinkie sign, and we headed off.
"Stop!" a Grunt shouted.
"Just go, I'll deal with him!" Hugh, whilst hesitant, remembered what he said about strength, and went through the northwest door, leaving me with the Grunt.
Rosa Vs. Plasma Grunt M
"Azumarill, go!" I shouted.
"Krookodile, go!" The Grunt sent out what might be the most ferocious Ground Type out there.

Very violent Pokémon, they try to clamp down on everything that moves in front of their eyes.
Sandile -Lv 29- Krokorok -Lv 40- Krookodile
"Krookodile, Crunch!" With its large jaws, Krookodile chomped down on Azumarill.
"Aqua Tail!" Azumarill hit Krookodile with its watery tail for lots of damage.
"Now use Stone Edge!" Krookodile made some sharp stones that it flung towards Azumarill. It took a lot out of it.
"Use Superpower!" Azumarill got buff, then punched Krookodile in the face. It defeated it.
"PLAAAASSSSMAAAA!" the Grunt yelled.
After I defeated the Grunt, an alarm went off with a blue light.
"Switch deactivated. Switch deactivated."
I knew I could trust Hugh, but I wasn't about to sit around and let him do all the work. So, I went to find another switch in the southeast door.
"Send the ship flying!" shouted one of the Grunts. Immediately, I felt the ship ascending into the air. I had no time to be shocked.
Through the southeast door was a large room with a giant pipe. On the other end, was the switch.
"Best I keep balanced," I said. Underneath me, some Grunts were talking to each other.
"Hey, I don't think this is good."
"What is it?"
"Well, something has been spotted approaching us on the camera. It's been at a steady pace behind the ship, but we should keep an eye on it."
"What does it look like?"
"It's too far to zoom in, but it's getting subtly closer."
That's all I decided to hear before I got to the switch and pulled it. The alarm went off again, indicating that it had been pulled.
I went east shortly after I heard another alarm. This meant that Hugh had pulled another one. We were making good progress. The east room was pretty small, but there was a Grunt blocking it.
"What? Oh great, it's you."
"Move!" I said. "Or I will force you to!"
"Make me!" the Grunt shouted.
Rosa Vs. Plasma Grunt M
"Arcanine, I choose you!" I shouted.
"Go Weezing!" the Grunt replied, the gaseous Pokémon being sent out.
"Arcanine, Flare Blitz!" Arcanine covered itself in flames, and it charged into Weezing for lots of damage. However, it came at the cost of recoil damage being done to Arcanine.
"Weezing, Sludge Bomb!" Weezing fired a ball of purple ooze at Arcanine. It hit, poisoning Arcanine in the process.
"Use Crunch!" Arcanine chomped down on Weezing. It was the final hit.
"You brat. That's it. I choose Crobat!" The Grunt sent out a pink Pokémon with four long wings that were flapping so fast I could barely see them.

Having four wings allows it to fly more quickly and quietly so it can sneak up on prey without it noticing.

"Okay Crobat, Cross Poison!" With its wings, Crobat slashed Arcanine in an X formation.
"Flare Blitz!" Arcanine charged towards Crobat covered in flames, but it missed. Not a good sign.
"Aerial Ace!" Crobat dove into Arcanine. It was a Critical Hit and landed the final blow.
"No!" I shouted. "Okay Cinccino, I choose you!" Could cute Vs. fierce work?
"Cross Poison!" Crobat swiped Cinccino, with thankfully no poisoning this time.
"Rock Blast!" Cinccino fired five rocks at Crobat. They were all Super Effective and took it down.
"PLLAAASSSMAAAA!" the Grunt shouted.
With that victory out the way, I pulled the switch. "Okay. Time to return to Hugh."
I reached the door at the same time as Hugh.
"Sorry," he said. "Had some Grunt trouble and of course I tried looking for Purrloin, but it isn't anywhere to be found. At least in this area."
We bust down the door to the Command Center where Zinzolin and a Grunt was waiting.
"It ends!" I shouted. "Team Plasma's 2nd reign of terror will end right now!"
"Is that so?" Zinzolin asked. "Come on. Take a look at this. This is… the Legendary Pokémon of ice! Its name is Kyurem!" He pointed over the balcony to show me his big plan. There it was. Grey, spiky and menacing.
"I don't believe it," Hugh said. "The Pokémon that froze Opelucid City…"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Hugh asked. "Second coming of Team Plasma? Is this what you were planning?"
"Whatever it means, we're going to have to get Kyurem out of there," I informed Hugh.
Suddenly, from behind me, Meloetta appeared.
"Meloetta?" I asked. "How could you do it?"
"No one will be able to do it whilst these crooks are in the way," Hugh informed. "Let's take them down first. Shall we team up again?"
We high-fived. "Let's do it. For Purrloin!"
"Fools! We'll simply eliminate you both!"
Rosa and Hugh Vs. Zinzolin and Plasma Grunt M
"Cinccino, go!" I shouted.
"I choose Emboar!" Hugh replied.
"Cryogonal, go!" Zinzolin said.
"Liepard, take them down!" said the Grunt.
"Okay Cinccino, start with Rock Blast!" Cinccino blasted rocks at Cryogonal, almost knocking it out.
"Liepard, Night Slash!" Liepard slashed at Cinccino. It was a Critical Hit.
"Ice Beam attack!" Cryogonal fired a beam of ice at Cinccino as well.
"Emboar, Head Smash!" Emboar charged at full pelt into Liepard. It also almost went down.
"Cinccino, another Rock Blast!" Cinccino fired more rocks at Cryogonal and finished it.
"Night Slash again!" Liepard slashed at Cinccino again. This was another Critical Hit and knocked out Cinccino.
"Emboar, Heat Crash!" Emboar spat flames at Liepard, and it was down.
"We're not losing to some brats. Beartic, go!" Zinzolin sent out his newest Ice Type.

They love the cold seas of the north. They create pathways across the open waters by freezing their own breath.

"Watchog, you're up!" the Grunt shouted.
"I'm going to use Flygon!" I shouted.
"Watchog, Slam!" Watchog slammed its tail onto Emboar. It was holding on, but barely.
"Night Slash!" Zoroark slashed at Watchog, taking its HP down by a half.
"Beartic, use Icicle Crash!" Beartic froze the air above it, and made icicle fall onto Flygon. Or should I say, Zoroark. "Urgh. Tricky as always. You were annoying enough with N!"
"Emboar, Head Smash!" Emboar charged head first at full power into Beartic. It was an OHKO, but as the price of Emboar fainting due to recoil. "Thanks, Emboar."
"Weavile, go!" Zinzolin shouted.
"I choose Simipour!" Hugh exclaimed.
"Okay Zoroark, Night Slash again!" Zoroark slashed at Watchog, and it was down.
"Simipour, Scald!" Simipour fired boiling-hot water at Weavile. Weavile wasn't burned however.
"Use Avalanche!" Weavile made chunks of ice fall onto Zoroark. It was very strong due to Weavile having been damaged already.
"Okay Scolipede, go!" The Plasma Grunt sent out the large Bug Type. "Poison Jab!" Scolipede's horn turned purple, and it jabbed Zoroark.
"Weavile, Night Slash!" Weavile lunged at Simipour but it missed.
"Scald again!" Simipour once again spat boiling water at Weavile, this time taking it down.
"Use your Night Slash!" Even with its huge size, Zoroark got a good hit on Scolipede.
"X-Scissor!" Scolipede, using its two horns, swiped at Zoroark and took it down.
"Simipour, Surf!" Simipour made a huge wave, and it swamped Scolipede.
"Okay Arcanine, finish the job!" I shouted. "Flare Blitz!" Arcanine managed to go first and charge its flame covered body into Scolipede. We had won.
"PLAAAASSSMAAAAA!"
"You're a smarter Trainer than expected."
"Okay, answer," said Hugh. "Where is Purrloin?"
Zinzolin shook his head. "If it's stolen, then someone is probably using it. Why are you so fixated on this one Purrloin?"
"Because you stole it!" He jumped at Zinzolin. "Tell us… me this instant!"
Meloetta floated in front of us. "What are you doing Meloetta?" I asked.
Meloetta started singing a certain song. As it did, I saw its green musical note hair tie round its head and turn red. It then made a skirt-like shape out of its body.
"What happened?" I asked, checking the Pokédex. "Wait. Meloetta. You're a Fighting Type now! This can come in handy!" We jumped down to the glass casing that was holding Kyurem.
"What are you doing?!" Zinzolin shouted. "You'll kill us all!"
"Meloetta! Close Combat!" Meloetta started attacking the glass case repeatedly. Eventually, it gave way and let Kyurem out.
"Rosa!" Hugh said. "I don't think that was a good idea."
I could see why. Kyurem towered over me and let out a huge roar. The whole ship started freezing over.
"That's Glaciate!" Zinzolin shouted.
Suddenly, a red alarm went off. "Red alert! Red alert! This ship is going down!"
Kyurem then fired a Dragon Pulse into the side of the ship, creating a hole in it. It attempted to jump out, but Team Plasma used a net made of fire to keep it in place. The Grunt we battled jumped out and launched a parachute.
"Hugh," I said. "I think…. this is the end."
Closing our eyes, we were about to embrace our fate…
"Hey! You two! Stop losing hope!"
We opened them again, and my mouth was in shock.
"Could that be?!"
Riding on the Legendary Pokémon, was…
"HILBERT?!" I yelled.
"Get on!" Hugh said as we jumped on the Legendary Zekrom and flew out of the ship.
"I don't believe it!" I said. "I've met you!"
"I'll take you to Humilau City," Hilbert told us.

We saw the ship crash in the distance.
"Just our luck," I said. "It crashed into the Giant Chasm."
We landed in Humilau City.
"Hilbert," I said. "Thank you." Hugh nudged me. "Hey, Rosa. Don't you have something?"
"Yes," I said. "Hilbert. I've been trying to find you, and I've been using… crap. No no no! I forgot!"
"Forgot what?" Hilbert said.
"Your Journal," Hugh said. "Rosa found your Journal and has used it to help her throughout the journey. She wanted to return it to you."
"Is that so?" Hilbert said. "Well-" He saw lights turning on. "I should go. Oh, and don't worry. N sent me."
"Wait!" I shouted, as Hilbert blasted off into the distance. "No no no!" I said. "A perfect opportunity, and I blew it!"
"Rosa!" Hugh said. "Okay, so maybe you gave up at the wrong time. But that isn't your goal now. We need to head to the Giant Chasm and stop Team Plasma!"
I guess he was right…
