The Truth Behind Bond?!
Location: Giant Chasm
"It's time," I said, looking at the crashed Frigate. It was time to give Team Plasma what for; they deserved it.
"Good luck," Rood told me. I saw a mound of ice that led into the second floor of the ship, so I went in.
Location: Plasma Frigate
It was only a matter of time before I was discovered. It just so happened that it was as soon as I boarded. Two Grunts were blocking the entrance.
"Are you kidding me?" one of them said.
"We've had to deal with this girl how many times? Well, forget it. This won't be happening this time, will it?"
"Where is Hugh?!" I shouted.
Rosa Vs. Team Plasma Grunt M and F
On one side, Scrafty and Garbodor. On the other side, Flygon and Cinccino.
"Let's get this started! Cinccino, Tail Slap! Flygon, Earth Power!" Cinccino slapped Scrafty across the face multiple times whilst Flygon sent a shockwave through the ground that hit Garbodor.
"Scrafty, Brick Break!"
"Garbodor, Body Slam!"
Scrafty chopped Cinccino on the head whilst Garbodor jumped up and then down into Flygon.
"Once more!" Cinccino and Flygon used their moves again, and Garbodor fainted. Scrafty however was still standing.
"Another Brick Break!" Scrafty chopped Cinccino another time, leaving it hanging.
"Bullet Seed!" Cinccino fired seeds at Scrafty, dealing the final knockout.
"PLAAAASSSMMMAAA!" the Grunts shouted as I butted through them.
I got to the belly of the ship, where Kyurem was still being held.
"Don't worry," I shouted at Kyurem. It looked up at me angrily; a sudden shock of cold and fear ran down my spine. "I'm not your enemy! I'm here to save you!"
"HEY!" a Grunt shouted.
"No!" I shouted. "Leave Kyurem alone!"
Rosa Vs. Tea-
"WAIT!" the Grunt said. "Don't worry, I'm working for Rood."
I breathed a sigh of relief. "What do we do?"
"To the south are some switches. Flip the switches and the barrier will deactivate. Then we can go to the Control Room and officially free Kyurem."
"Okay," I said. "In the meanwhile, could you please look for Hugh? I have a bad feeling he's on this ship."
The Grunt nodded. "Got it."
The Grunt was right. There were for switches, all on the other side of some pipes.
"Better mind my step," I thought as I ran over to the first switch. Well, fast walked. The pipes I had to walk along were a bit slippy. I flipped it, and an alarm went off.
"Stop!" a Grunt shouted. "You! You were the one who… never mind! You're not allowed here!"

"Krookodile, go!" the Grunt shouted.
"Come out Azumarill!" I replied.
"Okay Krookodile, Foul Play!" Krookodile ran over, yanked Azumarill by the tail and slammed it on the ground.
"Superpower!" Azumarill got stronger and punched Krookodile in the face for tons of damage. It was down in one.
"PLLAAASSSMAA!" the Grunt shouted.
With that switch pulled, new pipes emerged from the floor giving me access to another switch. I ran over to it and pulled it. A red alarm went off, and out came another Grunt.
"I can't believe what you did! He didn't need to go out that way!"

"I choose Weezing!" shouted the Grunt.
"Go Zoroark!" I responded. "Night Slash!" Zoroark slashed at Weezing for a Critical Hit.
"Sludge Bomb!" Weezing fired a ball of purple goop at Zoroark, poisoning it. "Now use Destiny Bond!"
"Night Slash!" As Zoroark attacked again, Weezing surrounded itself in dark energy. It attacked and was down. But due to the effects of Destiny Bond, Zoroark went down to. Clever strategy.
"You're smart for a Plasma grunt. Okay Arcanine, go!" I yelled.
"Amoongus, give em what for!" he shouted.

"Flare Blitz!" Arcanine lit itself on fire and charged into Amoongus. With no Destiny Bond to worry about, Amoongus was down.
"PLLAAASSSMAAAA!" shouted the Grunt.
More pipes came up, allowing access to the next switch. I ran along to it and flipped it. This led to, of course, another Grunt appearing.
"You've done a lot of horrible things, but what you did? You won't get away with this!"

"Cinccino, go!" I shouted.
"Go Dieno!" the Grunt replied.
"Okay Cinccino, Rock Blast!" Cinccino fired five rocks at Deino.
"Dragon Rush!" Deino covered itself in blue energy and charged into Cinccino. It did a lot of damage.
"Tail Slap it!" Cinccino slapped Deino across the face multiple times. It finished it.
"Okay Sneasel, go!" the Grunt shouted. "Ice Shard!" Sneasel created a ball of ice which it threw at Cinccino. It was done.
"Okay Arcanine, I choose you!" I shouted.
"Use Punishment!" Sneasel scratched Arcanine of the face.
"Flamethrower!" Arcanine shot fire at Sneasel, finishing it off.
"PLLAAASSSMAAA!" the Grunt shouted.
With that, I headed for the last switch. As soon I got there…
"STOP!" a Grunt shouted. She had a remote control in her hand.
"If you want to battle, so be it. Serperior, g-,"
"Don't you dare try that you piece of scum. You… ended him. Thanks to you, Zinzolin is gone. He didn't escape the ship in time."
I didn't realize that happened. "No… it wasn't me. I didn't even know! It was Kyurem. I happened to free it, but I didn't know it would do that."
"Precisely!" the Grunt yelled. "If you hadn't released Kyurem, he would still be here. But no, you had to do it. Now keep your hand away from the switch."
"Or what?" I asked.
The Grunt pushed a button that brought down a cage. A badly injured Hugh was being kept in it. His eyes were bruised and he was badly scratched up.
"Hugh!" I shouted. "Let him go!"
"Why should I? A life for a life, that's our mentality." He pushed another button, and shockwaves attacked Hugh.
"Aaah! Don't… do it Rosa! I'll… be fine knowing… Unova is safe."
A tear rolled down my eye. What a brave thing to say. But I wasn't going to let him sacrifice himself.
"You want to see Purrloin again!" I said. "And I will let you do that AND save Unova! Flygon, ground the voltage!" I sent out Flygon to grab onto the cage and absorb anymore volts that came its way. I then pulled the switch.
"You asked for it! Switch to fire!" the Grunt yelled as the cage started getting hotter.
"NOOO!" I yelled.
Suddenly, the bottom of the cage came loose. Hugh fell to the ground and dodged the oncoming fire attack. Hugh hugged me from fear.
"What?!" the Grunt yelled. "Who did that?"
"I did." From the voice over, we heard a familiar voice.
"COLRESS?!" the two of us shouted.
"That is right, it is me. Rosa, meet me in the Control Room, now that you can get there. You." The Grunt pointed to her face. "Escort Hugh to a bed for some rest."
"Yes… Colress."
"What?" I asked. "Why are they obeying you?"
"I will explain in the Control Room," he said.
Doing as Colress said, I went to the Control Room (now unlocked) to find the Scientist looking over at Kyurem in an advanced forcefield.
"Colress!" I said. "You're not a…"
"Welcome!" he said. "I was asked by an acquaintance to help with his research. If it means bring Pokémon to their full potential, then so be it!"
"This isn't the right way though!" I said, teary eyed. "I've done so much for you. I've helped you with your research. Was that not enough? And if it wasn't, there must be some other way!"
Colress was typing into a tablet. "Yes, that is interesting. I'm sorry, but I can't let you get in the way of Kyurem. The boss will get angry if I do."
"I'm… not sure if I want to do this. But if you're not with me," I grabbed a Pokéball. "Then you're my enemy!"
"If the entire world is destroyed as a result, then so be it!"

"Go Ferrothorn!" shouted Colress, sending out the grey spiky-grey Pokémon.

"That's interesting," I thought. "I don't think Hilbert saw that one. Okay Flygon, go!" Out Flygon came. "Use Earth Power!" Flygon sent out energy through the ground towards Ferrothorn. It was a hit.
"Use Gyro Ball!" Ferrothorn started spinning round and round. It rammed its spinning body into Flygon.
"Let's switch things up. Dragon Tail!" Flygon hit Ferrothorn with its tail, forcing Ferrothorn back to Colress. In its place was a brown Pokémon with two large claws called Metang.

"Use Meteor Mash!" Metang created a star on its fist and punched Flygon in the face. It was a Critical Hit and knocked out Flygon.
"Oh no. Okay Arcanine, go!" I shouted. "Use Flamethrower!" Arcanine shot fire at Metang, finishing it off.
"Urgh. Thanks anyway Metang. Go Beheeyem!"

"Crunch it Arcanine!" Arcanine chomped down on Beheeyem for a Super Effective hit.
"Beheeyem, use Psychic!" Beheeyem blasted Arcanine with Psychic energy. It did a lot to it and lowered Sp. Defense.
"Crunch again!" Disaster; it missed.
"Psychic once more!" Beheeyem blasted Arcanine with more energy and finished it.
"It's not over. Serperior, go!" I shouted. "Coil!" Serperior coiled round, raising its stats.
"Use Shadow Ball!" Beheeyem fired black ball at Serperior, who took it very well.
"Leaf Blade attack!" Serperior slashed at Beheeyem, knocking it out with a Critical Hit.
"You are good. Ferrothorn, come out again!"
I had little to counter Ferrothorn, so I figured I might as well roll with it. "Slam!" Serperior slammed down on Ferrothorn, but in the process, got hurt by Iron Barbs.
"Use Poison Jab!" Ferrothorn's feelers turned purple, and it jabbed Serperior, poisoning it.
"Use another Slam!" Serperior did the best it could; Ferrothorn was a defensive nuisance.
"Another Poison Jab!" Ferrothorn jabbed Serperior again, this tiem landing a Critical Hit. Serperior had at least one move left.
"Slam one final time!" Serperior slammed down on Ferrothorn a last time. One more Poison Jab and Serperior was finished.
"You did your best. Okay Zoroark, finish it off!" I shouted, sending it out. "Use Night Slash!" Zoroark slashed at Ferrothorn, finally knocking it out.
"Magnezone, you're next!" Colress sent out a grey Pokémon with three magnets attached to it. It looked like a UFO.

"Okay, use Night Slash!" Zoroark slashed at Magnezone, but it wasn't very effective.
"Discharge!" Magnezone created an electrical wave that went everywhere. Zoroark was hit.
"Use Torment!" I shouted. Zoroark edged on Magnezone, causing it to get angry and unable to move that turn. "Another Night Slash!" Zoroark slashed at Magnezone once again.
"Use Discharge!" Magnezone went berserk with electricity again, this time finishing Zoroark.
"Azumarill, go!" I shouted. "Superpower!" Azumarill got as strong as it could and rammed into Magnezone. It was down.
Colress looked at his tablet. "Unbelievable. These readings. Okay Klinklang, go!"

"Klingklang, use Thunderbolt!" Klingklang started gathering electricity.
"Azumarill!" I shouted, closing my eyes. But when I opened them…
"What's going on?!" I shouted. Klinklang wasn't using Thunderbolt on Azumarill; it was using it on Kyurem's machine! It overloaded, and the shield went down. Kyurem roared, used Dragon Pulse on the ship once again and went out.
A voice came over the speakers. "So… a traitor…"
"Ghetsis," Colress said.
"What?!" I said.
"Quiet!" he said. "Listen. I know I joined the bad side briefly, but I can't go up to him alone after what I just pulled. Please. Come with me and I will step down from Team Plasma."
I gulped. "I… don't know…"
Just then, we saw Hugh stumble his way in. "Hugh!" Colress said. "No, your injuries. You can't go on."
"COLRESS!" Ghetsis shouted from the speakers. "Meet me in the quarters!"
A warp panel appeared in front of us.
"Fine," I said. "But no funny business. Hugh, if it gets too much, leave. We can't have you getting anymore injured than you already are."
The three of us went onto the warp panel to find ourselves in a room full of machines. But that wasn't the part that we focused on. My feet were quaking at the sight of the most feared man in the Unova region. In his black cloak with hit metal cane stood Team Plasma's Leader; Ghetsis.
"So," he said. "You're the one who's been trying to stop us."
"Don't treat me like a child!" I shouted back. "Look what I've done to you! Look how far I've come with my friends!"
"QUIET!" Ghetsis yelled. His voice was so scary that I obeyed him. Ghetsis then turned his attention to Colress. "You fool!" With his cane, he poked him in the chest. "I thought we made a deal. You help me with Kyurem and I help you with your research."
"I've had help," he said. "And whilst maybe I could take it further with you, I don't want to do it at the risk of innocent lives in the Unova region. All so that you can be the only one who uses Pokémon? You disgust me!"
"And we're not disgusted by you?!" Hugh shouted. He struggled to get up. "Two years ago, you stole people's best friends."
"We did?" Ghetsis said. "Including… this one?" The Shadow Triad appeared. With one of the members was a Liepard. Ghetsis walked over to Hugh and put his head in place. "Look at that Liepard. Does it look familiar to you?"
"I… don't even need to," Hugh said. "It's… my Sister's Purrloin! I've found you!"
As Hugh went over, Liepard snarled violently. Hugh stepped back.
"Liepard!" I yelled. "Don't you remember Hugh? He set out on this region-wide journey to find and return you!"
Liepard continued snarling. It's like it couldn't remember it.
"You found it. Now go home," the Shadow Triad told us. "It listens to us now."
Hugh was now sobbing. "LIEPARD! PLEASE! YOU'RE MY SISTER'S POKÉMON! NOT TEAM PLASMA'S!"
"Not anymore!" the Shadow Triad said. "We will give you on the count of three to leave this place."
"Not without a fight!" I said.
"You're going down!" Hugh yelled.
"I will not let you use my technology to take over the Unova region!" Colress exclaimed.

"Simipour, you're up!" Hugh said.
"Magnezone, hah!" Colress said.
"Accelgor, Bug Buzz!" Accelgor made an awful sound, but it didn't matter to Magnezone; it was a Steel Type.
"Serperior, Leaf Blade!" Serperior slashed Absol across the face.
"Use Night Slash!" Absol, with its claws, then slide Serperior.
"Simipour, Shadow Claw!" Simipour's claws went black, and it swiped at Banette.
"Banette, Shadow Ball!" Banette fired a black blob at Simipour, who was forced to take a few steps back. Its Sp. Defense also fell.
"Magnezone, Flash Cannon!" Magnezone fired a white beam at Accelgor.
"Use another Bug Buzz!" That didn't do much either.
"Leaf Blade!" Serperior finished off Absol.
"Shadow Claw!" Simipour finished off Bannette.
"Thunderbolt!" Finally, Magnezone finished off Accelgor.
"They're down," I said. "Okay Ghetsis. Next, you fight me."
Ghetsis smiled. "Hmm… no. TAKE THEM DOWN!"
I felt a bludgeon on the back of my head. I lay on the ground and slowly closed my eyes…
