Valkyries P.O.V.
"Any sign of that bounty hunter?" The ship shook again as another blast hit the rear shields. Tech then spoke
"The only vessel in our scanners is Crosshairs and he is right on top of us"
"Don't let them get away" I turned away from the cupboard I was looking in and said
"Where's the medical kit?!" Echo replied
"Your bunk!" I didn't hesitate to grab hold of a pipe above me and pull myself up to my bunk area. It's a medium-sized space that's meant to be used for storage, but Instead, I sort of turned it into a living space for myself. I grabbed the med kit just as Wrecker yelled
"It's getting hot back here!" Echo then said
"Prepping to jump" I jumped down just as Hunter attempted to get up whilst saying
"Not without Omega!" I grabbed his shoulder and pushed him back in the chair and said
"Would you sit down!" I crouched down with the med kit at my side and said
"The bounty hunter who took her is long gone. We'll have no chance of finding them if Crosshair shoots us down" Wrecker then yelled
"Rear deflector shields are failing!" Hunter just looked me in the eyes. I grabbed his hand and said
"I promise we'll find her, you have my word" He hesitated for a second before nodding. I stood up, not letting go of Hunters hand, looked to the front of the ship and said
"Tech, make the jump! Get us the hell out of here!"

Omegas P.O.V.
"Let me out of here!"
"Afraid not" I then began looking round the cell and patting my pockets only to have the droid say
"Looking for your communication device?...It has been confiscated and placed in a secure compartment" I glared at him and said
"I said let me out of here" The droid looked at me and said
"I would advise you to cooperate. Mr Bane does not respond well to prisoners who are difficult"
The bounty Hunter jumped off the ladder and walked over saying
"How's my asset doing?" I folded my arms and said
"My name is Omega. Who are you?" He tipped his hat and said
"Cad Bane at your service"
"Where are you taking me?... You'll be sorry when my friends come for me" he put his hands on his hips and said
"Your friends are long gone. I made sure of that. No one is coming for you, little lady. Now sit tight and don't cause any trouble" As turned and began walking away the droid spoke
"But when will you have time to fix my leg? It is quite inconvenient. Bane, did you hear me? Mr Bane. Mr Bane" Bane went back up the ladder without saying anything else.
The droid grabbed his tool once more and sat down on the floor in a huff as he said
"This is all that clone's fault. He shot my leg off" I went up to the ray shield and said
"He was protecting me. That's what friends do. Why isn't yours helping you?" He thought about it from a second before saying
"Well, Mr Bane is very busy" In a second I thought of a plan that could get me out of here. I leant against the wall and said
"I could fix your leg if you want. I mean, it's a simple booster adjustment. I've done it a bunch of times for AZI-3 back on Kamino"
"I am a techno service droid. I am quite capable of completing my own repairs. You are a prisoner and are not to be trusted" I just folded my arms and said
"Have it your way"

Valkyries P.O.V.
"Your description of the bounty hunter is a match to one from old Republic's files" A familiar face then popped up on the screen and my heart sank. Hunter took one look at the photo and said
"That's him" Echo continued
"Cad Bane. He had multiple run-ins with the Jedi and was responsible for attempting to abduct Chancellor Palpatine'' At the mention of Banes name I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. Hunter saw this and said
"You know him, don't you!" I didn't answer him. I couldn't even look at him, at any of them. Hunter then said
"Valkyrie, please he's got Omega!" I took a breath before looking up and saying
"I encountered him a couple of times. He's probably the best at what he does… Just to make it clear that's not a compliment. Last time I saw him, it took three Jedis to bring him down and even then he got away. If someone has coughed up enough credits to hire Cad Bane then Omega is in more danger than we first realised" Wrecker then spoke
"First the bounty hunter on Pantora and now this guy? Why are they after the kid?" Tech then rejoined us whilst saying
"Because she is more valuable than we realized"
We all turned to look at him as Hunter said
"What do you mean?"
"I further analyzed Omega's genetic profile and discovered she has pure, first-generation DNA" I muttered
"Oh man" Wrecker then said
"Whoa! Wait. W-W-What does that mean?" I then said
"Omegas DNA can be used to create more clones" Tech then went on to say
"All clones were created from a host named Jango Fett. While our genetic structure was modified for growth acceleration and obedience, Omega is a pure genetic replication" Echo then said
"How many clones like that exist?" Tech glanced down at his datapad before saying
"To my knowledge, there's only one other. A male clone code-named Alpha, later referred to as Boba" I sighed again and said
"Ahh, I've met him too. Not the nicest clone out there… and yet not the worst" Tech went on to say
"Anyway, since Boba disappeared at the start of the war, that makes Omega the sole living source of Fett's raw genetic material" Echo then said
"If she's vital to the Kaminoans' cloning operation, they must have put the bounty on her" Wrecker then said
"So how do we find this bounty hunter?" Hunter moved slightly in the chair before saying
"Tech, check with Cid. See if her contacts know anything. We'll keep monitoring comms" I then said
"Hunter, you need to rest. We can monitor comms"
"No! Not until Omega is safe" I looked up at the others and made a gesture with my head. They didn't need me to say anything to know I needed to talk to Hunter alone.
I sat down in the chair next to him, turned to face him and said
"Hunter" he didn't take his eyes off the screen.
"Hunter" not even an acknowledgement.
"Okay stop…" I grabbed his wrists and turned his chair to face me
"You gotta stop"
"Val…" I held my hand up and said
"Just let me talk first" he nodded and sat back in the chair as I continued
"Look I know you're worried about the kid, I can see you all are. But from what I've seen in the last 24 hours she can take care of herself. For kark sake, she just took on Wrecker to keep you safe" I pointed to the bandage around his chest and said
"Now you've just been shot in the chest and you have heightened senses so I dread to think how much pain you are in. Please get some rest, don't make me pull rank Hunter" he sighed before finally giving in
"30 minutes"
"That's all I ask" he pushed himself up and made his way over to the bunks.
After I saw him lie down I got up and joined the others upfront.
"Echo, can you monitor the comms" He looked around and said
"How did you get him to get some rest?"
"I told him what he needed to hear. Now I gave him my word that we'd find Omega. Let's not break that"
