Hunters P.O.V.
We just got back to Ordmantel after another mission for Cid. So Wrecker and Omega lead us on a little detour through the markets to grab some of the Mantell mix theyve grown accustomed to. As we got back on track towards Cids parlor Wrecker looked up at Omega (Whos sat on his shoulders) and siad
"How's the Mantell Mix, kid?" she took a handful of the mix and said
"Mm-hmm. Better than ever" she then dropped a piece in Wreckers mouth causing him to say
"Yeah, it is" She laughed slightly before looking abc at me and saying
"So, when's our next mission?" Before I could reply Tech said
"With two bounty hunters after you, it'd be wise to keep a low profile" Wrecker lifted Omega off his shoulders as I said
"Tech's right. There's too much heat on us right now" Wrecker laughed and said
"Ha! That never stopped us before" the others kept on walking but I grabbed Wreckers arm and held him back
"The kid's been through enough. She needs a break" he looked over to the others and after he saw Echo snigg some of the Mantell mix he said
"She seems fine to me" We then proceeded to walk into Cids parlor.
As we walked in, Omega took her bow off her back and jumped up on one of the seats as Val jumped and sat up on the bar. The rest of us put our stuff down just as Cid spoke
"I've got a mission for you boys. A simple extraction on Raxus" At the mention of Raxus I felt Val tense up beside me. Tech then questioned her
"Raxus? That is the former centre of the Separatist government. It has since become an Imperial outpost…" Cid cut him off by saying
"I'm not interested in a history lesson, Goggles. You're being hired to locate and free Senator Avi Singh from his confinement. My client will meet you at the given coordinates to brief you. Details are on this. Now get going" She held up a data card and then threw it in Tech's direction. I caught the card and brought it infront of me before saying
"Help a Separatist?..." I then threw the card back at her as I said
"Not gonna happen"
"Your debt's still not paid, remember? A job's a job. So unless blondey over there knows some people who ca… Oh wait she's supposed to be dead" Val took a bite out of the piece of fruit she was holding and said
"Missed you too Cid" Cid then pointed at her and said
"Don't get snippy with me blondey" Val jumped off the bar and went to say something, but I interjected, I pointed at her and said
"Don't start"
I then grabbed Cids arm and took her aside. Once we away from the others I said
"I am not bringing Omega to a planet swarming with Imperials" She shrugged and said
"So leave her here with me. I'll keep an eye on her"
"I don't exactly trust you either"
"Good. You shouldn't. But if keeping the kid-safe means more money in my pocket, it's in my best interest to do so, isn't it?" She has a very good point. I sighed before saying
"If anything happens to her…" She cut me off by saying
"Yeah, yeah, Bandana. Just get outta here, will you?"
I turned and rejoined the others. As I did, Omega was adjusting her shash. She looked up at me and said
"Ready when you are, Sergeant" I crouched down in front of her and said
"Not this time, Omega. You're staying with Cid" sadness immediately covered her face as she said
"But th-the mission. I'm part of the squad too" I put my hand on her shoulder and said
"Then following orders shouldn't be a problem. Stay close to Cid and don't leave this parlor. Got it, soldier?" She groaned in frustration before mumbling
"Yes, sir" The rest of us then left the parlor.
As we walked through the streets back to the ship, Val nudged me and said
"You did the right thing leaving her at the parlor" I replied
"I feel bad leaving her behind"
"At least hre you know shes safe" I just nodded in response. As we continued walking to the ship, I said
"What's the deal between you and Cid any how?"
"We've got a history from before I became a Jedi" I just looked at her with my eyebrow raised as I said
"Gonna elaborate?"
"It's a long story"
"I've got time" When the ship came into view she said
"Another time"

Valkyries P.O.V.
Just as we got to the edge of Raxus space, Wrecker said
"We've never been to Raxus before" Tech pressed a couple buttons on the console before saying
"The coordinates from Cid have us landing outside the capital city of Raxulon, the home of their Senate" Echo sat back in his seat, folded his arm and said
"I can't believe we're helping a Separatist senator" Tech looked at him and said
"So you have said. Repeatedly" Hunter then said
"I always thought we'd make it to Raxus someday. But not like this" A voice then came over the comms system
"Unidentified transport, this is restricted airspace. Transmit your clearance code" Hunter stood up and said
"Tech, Input the codes from Cid's client" I turned my back to the group, leant into Hunter and whispered
"Hunter, I don't like this. How do we know this isn't a trap?" He didn't say anything, he just looked at me. He was just about to say something when the troopers voice came over the comms again
"You're cleared for entry. Proceed"
Tech looked over at Echo and said
"Now are you convinced?" Echo sat back in his chair as he mumbled
"No" Tech looked at him and said
"I am simply stating that the codes did, in fact, work. The client being a Separatist is not relevant" Echo sprung forward as he said
"It is to me" He then turned around, looked at me and said
"How are you of all people okay with this?!" I glared at Echo but before I could speak, the hatch opened and Hunter said whilst walking out
"Forget politics. We're here to do a job"
