After having gone to tell Jaune about what happened, Pyrrha headed to talk to a couple of the other Grimmbusters, her first stop being Ren at The Institute For Advanced Theoretical Research.
"...and then it went right out into the middle of traffic and I started to have to physically sprint after it." Pyrrha stated. "And then it just suddenly stopped in the middle of the street."
"And did anyone else see this happen?" Ren asked
"Tons of people. Even a couple of military soldiers." Pyrrha responds as Ren checked something a machine printed out. "Ren, I didn't imagine this."
"I'm not saying you did, it's just in science we always try to look for the simplest explanations." Ren responds as they walked over to a one sided window that only they could see through
"We're ready, Dr. Ren." An assistant said
Ren nodded and says, "Let's start with the negative calibration."
When they got to the one sided window, Pyrrha rose an eyebrow at what she saw.
"What are you working on here anyway, Ren?" Pyrrha asks
"Trying to determine whether human emotions actually effect the physical environment." Ren responded. "It was a theory Neptune and I still had when we were Grimmbusters."
Pyrrha kept watching.
"Can they see us?" Pyrrha asks
"Nope." Ren answers as he checked a couple things. "They think they're here for marriage counseling. We've had them waiting for two and a half hours and every so often, I increase the temperature in the room when nothing of note really happens. It's at 95 right now."
An assistant stepped in and was seen talking to the couple.
"Now my assistant is asking them if they'd mind waiting another half hour." Ren comments
Ren checked the temperature and saw that the temperature increased on it's own.
"Good...very good." Ren comments
"So, Ren, about my babby carriage incident, what do you think?" Pyrrha asks
"Well, have you told Jaune?" Ren asks. "If so, then i'd like to try to bring Neptune in on this if you don't mind."
"Sure, just...i'm just hoping this won't result in me getting possessed and destroying a wall on my apartment again." Pyrrha comments
"We'll try to make sure that doesn't happen." Ren responded
An assistant walked over and says to Ren, "We're ready for the affection test."
"Good, send in the puppy." Ren says
The assistant walked into the room a young child, a Golden Retriever Faunus speciically was in, and gave her a puppy to cuddle with.
"I really do appreciate you doing this, Ren." Pyrrha comments
"Try not to worry." Ren reassured
Pyrrha pulled out a paper and handed it to Ren as she said, "Here's the house number for my newer apartment, call me whenever you can about this."
Pyrrha hugged Ren before saying, "Thanks."
Pyrrha then walked off and out of the room, sighing.
