Pyrrha then took them to the spot on the street where her and Jaune's son's carraige stopped and Ren and Neptune kneeled down, Ren using a Gigameter and Neptune holding the PKE meter, the signal spiking up instantly.
"Oooohh...I think we hit the honeypot." Neptune comments. "I've got at least a Level 10 reading on the PKE Meter."
"Got nearly 500 GEDs on the Gigameter." Ren responds
Pyrrha rose an eyebrow.
"So what are you guys gonna try to do?" Pyrrha questioned
The guys all looked at each other. Then, that night they began to be cutting a hole in the street, having blocked off the area. Jaune walked over with some coffee.
"So what's the progress?" Jaune asks
"Well, the hole's really deep and there's some sort of...pink gas coming out." Neptune responds as Ren set up the Gigameter to a descending rope
Ren slowly descends the Gigameter down the hole, all three looking over when the sound of it hitting the bottom echoed as people drove by.
"Well, there's definetly ground down there, just not sure how we'll be able to see-" Ren starts
Suddenly, the Gigameter sparked and blew up down at the bottom of the hole, Neptune activating the retraction function of the machine and when it was pulled up, the Gigameter was wrecked and sparking.
"Whatever's down there, it's pretty powerful." Neptune says. "Also, what's that pink stuff on it?"
Suddenly, a drop of the pink stuff fell from the remains of the Gigameter and it was somehow hard enough to bust an underground line and it knocked out power all across the city, Jaune only having one thing to say.
"Shit..."
