JUDY'S P.O.V.
Waking up I noticed the cellar door was open and Sophie was gone but everyone was still asleep. Quickly running out to try and find Sophie, but the whole house was destroyed everything was gone. Still looking for Sophie I noticed she was trying to help all other residents but they were also scared of her as well until we all heard a scream for help. "My husband is stuck in the rubble!" Sophie and I ran to where the scream was but when we arrived I saw a male bloody rabbit but when he saw Sophie he immediately started trying to get away from her but his foot was stuck under a large piece of rubble.
"Sir please calm down you're going to make your injury worse if you keep moving!" " But there's a savage wolf behind you!" "No that's one of my friends, but don't ask, it's a long story. Regardless you need to stay still and be calm." he tried to be calm but was still freaking out. 'We still need to get this debris off of him and I need to find my radio to get the ZPD and a lot of ambulances for the injured people.' Sophie went to one side but stopped to look at me then him. Getting the idea of what she was wanting me to I went to his shoulders and pulled once Sophie lifted the metal frame from off him. But noticed he was bleeding very badly and had a broken leg but Sophie must have noticed since she laid down and looked at me "You want me to ride on your back?" she nodded and looked at the forest and everything made sense.
We were going back to the forest for Sophie to treat him. "Sir please stay calm Sophie is going to pick you up so we can treat you." he had fear consistantly in his eyes but nodded hesitantly. I got on Sophie's back as she stood up, then picked up the bleeding rabbit in her mouth then ran to the forest. Once we were there she sat him down and laid down to allow me to get off. When I was off she pushed me in a certain direction then picked up the rabbit and walked. When Sophie put the rabbit on a stone slab and gathered a few plants, and bark I noticed it was the place where Sophie and I first met, and she was going to treat him like she did with herself.
When Sophie was done collecting I whispered in her ear, "just lead me and I'll do it." She nodded at me and licked the wounds of the bunny clean then picked up a few plants and dropped them in my hands. It took me a moment to realize the plant, it was the same one that she used to stop her bleeding. So I lightly dabbed it on his wounds and it surprisingly worked very quickly. She then dropped a few pieces of bark the size of his leg, and two long pieces of vine. Quickly remembering what she did when I was spying on her. "Sorry mister but this is going to hurt, I need to set the bone back." I said before he had a chance to think I set his leg and used the resources to make a temporary cast for him.
When I was done she lightly licked me and laid down for me to get on. Once I was on she got up, picked up the rabbit, and walked back to the farm. When we got there Sophie set him down and inhaled his scent. When she got his scent she picked him up and was continuously sniffing around till we found his wife. She walked to the sobbing wife and the husband got her attention by calling to her. She immediately looked at us approaching and froze but to not scare her Sophie let us both down and she nudged both of us to the wife. And with how Sophie's cast works the husband was able to walk (hobble) to his wife as she ran to hug him but was still cautious of Sophie's presence.
We both watched this happen for a while before Sophie sniffed me then started sniffing around. She was doing this for about 5 minutes before she started digging through a small mound of dirt. Once she got the black item cacked in dirt she walked to me and gently dropped the walkie-talkie on the ground. She knew for all the residents she would have to get back up and medical to help everyone or more animals with injuries could die. "Officer Hopps to all units. We need all hands on deck at bunny borough. Bring medical assistance immediately." "10-4 Hopps how many are injured?" "No clue but there's a lot of injured animals." when I said that I noticed sirens were already audible and Sophie started running to the forest. "SOPHIE!!" at the edge of the border she turned to look at me. But I saw Sophie get shot with an elephant tranq she turned and ran.
I was still in amazement. Was she resistant to tranquilizers? I was about to go get her but soon more police cars, and ZMS showed up, and they all looked in astonishment, the fields torn, houses plowed, debris everywhere. But they all soon started helping the residents. When I saw nobody looking at me I ran into the forest. Going to the place that Sophie origonelly (sorry for my bad spelling) came from, I noticed the birds seemed distressed when I reached the place, I saw why. Sophie was in human form and was trying to help a bird that was unconscious and had a broken wing. But Sophie was gathering resources to set the bird's wing. However, the way she did this cast differently than the others this one looked like was going to fall off in a few weeks.
She then put the young bird in a makeshift nest that was hanging from the tree. I was about to ask her why she ran but she turned into a bird I thought was only a legend… a peregrine falcon. As she was caring for the young bird I called out "Sophie?" the bird looked at me then flew to me. I held my arm like the people in the video did when they were still alive and she immediately perched on my arm looking at me. "Please change into a different form, I want to talk to you." Her response was to change into a different bird. "Why did you run?" "Bad memories, to get out of the way, and I would probably scare everyone." she said looking down. "Can I ask what bad memories?" "My mom was killed by a hospital fire when I was five. I was so devastated that I ran to the forest. When I was sure I lost the medical team that was chasing me, I slowed to keep energy in case I needed to run. But later on, I was found by a pack of wolves that were as you all call 'savage'." I gasped "what happened."
"They showed me mercy when they realized that I was running from people and was not a hunter. But at the time I didn't know that when they all approached me I was so scared for my life, but when I heard people quickly approaching I ran the fastest I ever could. When I saw the wolves surrounding me I tried looking for a way out but then was pounced on and I blacked out. When I woke up I was in another realm talking to someone. It's all fuzzy and I can't remember. But when I woke up I wasn't able to clearly think, see, or move, and I felt very weird But now, if it wasn't for that pack I would be dead. I learned how to walk, shift, talk, scavenger, and cure myself those that are around me."
"but as I have learned all things don't last forever...The hunters eventually came while I was in human form...and...They slaughtered the whole pack and captured me. They tried to put me in an orphanage but I used my long nails to slowly cut the rope they bound me with and I ran. After that I can't remember, but before I came I remember my foster 'mom' was trying to kill me, so I ran back to the woods with a broken arm. Once I knew I was safe for a short period I made the cast, bandaged the wounds a bit, and found a white glowing crystal when I was rinsing off the blood. When I grabbed it white light blinded me and I was then teleported here with the ability to talk in your language."
I was so shocked after hearing this. No child and I mean NO CHILD should have to endure her past "I-I am so sorry. For all tha-" "It's fine. You are the first person that I have told you that." I smiled that she could get that off of her chest "can you shift to your wolf and introduce you to the ZPD?" She answered by flying to the nest grabbing the bird, setting the bird on the ground, and shifting. She then looked at me expectantly laying down, climbing on her she took her time getting up and gently picked up the injured bird with her sharp incisors and walked back to the farm.
