Missing scene from The Quest Part 2.
Mitchell still hadn't let go of her after Sam and Teal'c came through. She had allowed him to drag her back because, for some reason beyond her comprehension, she was clinging to the hope that Daniel would make it. That Merlin would help.
A choked sob died in her throat as the gate closed.
"No," she whispered brokenly.
Her knees buckled, and if it hadn't been for Mitchell's grip, she would have fallen. She was vaguely aware of his body moving to embrace her. A few sobs shook her and tears fell down her cheeks as she clung to him.
