Team Night was drawing to an end, and Daniel joined Vala on his balcony while the others were busy cleaning. The matter of their first encounter had come up tonight, and Vala had eagerly regaled their friends with the story.
"You didn't mention the kiss," he mused, wondering why she would willingly pass on an occasion to embarrass him.
"I always think back of the day we met quite fondly, and I like to have a part of it that is just ours."
They exchanged a knowing smile. That was actually the most... romantic thing he ever heard her say.
