Another week of running after Ba'al's clones had exhausted her and she could feel her body drawn to his warmth during the whole movie. Vala had done her best to keep her distance, but surely Daniel had noticed she was slowly drifting into his personal space, she thought with a wince.
The last time this had happened, he had gotten mad at her and she had fallen asleep in Sam's embrace on the other couch.
Tonight though, he met her eyes and opened his arm as a clear invitation, then held her tight when she gratefully leaned into his shoulder.
