Jack leaned against the doorframe of his best friend's office. Daniel was working peacefully at his desk while Vala was sitting cross-legged on top of the middle table, a couple of pizza boxes in front of her. She looked suspiciously like she was meditating.

Daniel jumped from his seat and welcomed him.
"So, no fight? No yelling? Where's my weekly entertainment?" Jack whined.
"Daniel bought my silence for the night."
"And yet, you're still talking."
She swiftly removed one slipper and threw it at him.
"Hey!"
