Daniel couldn't believe it. After almost two weeks of mourning her, she was back from the dead.
He pulled her into a hug as soon as she walked down the ramp, too relieved she was alive to even care they had an audience. Vala returned the embrace with the same intensity, and they stayed like that for longer than he'd like to admit.
"You died in my arms," he whispered brokenly.
"My clone did."
She pulled back, just enough to search his eyes.
"You look like you could use a movie and some comfort food," she teased, making him chuckle.
