Daniel and Vala while waiting for death to take them...
Vala raised her eyes to his, and he titled his head, silently asking what was up. She glanced at his lips for a split second, leaning closer. Daniel hesitated, but after what felt like an eternity searching her blue eyes, he kissed her. They kept it slow, tender, and she could literally feel herself melting against him.
"Well... That's one less regret to take to the grave," she murmured wistfully when they pulled apart.
"Lucky you," he retorted. "It only added more for me."
She settled back in his arms, and gasped in surprise when the blinding light took them.
