Daniel finally found Vala in Sam's lab, bent over a magnifying glass. There were many tools scattered in front of her and she seemed to be holding a soldering iron. He took a deep, calming breath when he realised what she was working on.
"What are you doing with my spare glasses?"
"Out of the last 5 times we've been taken prisoners, they separated us every single time and only took your glasses once," she answered, focusing on her work.
"Let me guess... lockpicking tools?"
"Yup."
"So I assume you plan on teaching me to..."
"Yup."
"Wonderful," he retorted sarcastically.
