She stretched her back, frowning in surprise when she noticed it was dinner time already.
A few days after she had translated that first tablet, Daniel had enlisted her help on another Goa'uld artifact. It turned out she wasn't too rusty, and the work not entirely boring. At least, it kept her mind off the fact that her only child was gone forever.

Getting to spend some more time with Daniel was also a nice bonus, and he seemed happy enough to have her around.
