Sam couldn't help a laugh as Daniel came back to reclaim his spot next to Vala, casually high-fiving the raven-haired woman as he passed her. He could get surprisingly playful after a few drinks - especially with Vala - and it warmed her heart to see him so carefree and relaxed.
"Crush them," Daniel encouraged quietly when it was her turn.
"Will do," Vala sing-songed.
She grabbed the stick and finished what Daniel had started, eliciting sullen moans from Mitchell and Teal'c when she won them the game.
Straightening up, her eyes met his. She quirked a playful eyebrow. He smirked lovingly.
