Daniel shuddered against the cold. "I still can't feel it," he breathed anxiously.
"I know. You will soon," she soothed, rubbing his hand.
He truly was an idiot sometimes. He felt like such a fool for tumbling into the snow and getting his hand soaked. Not to mention Vala and him had lost the others.
Thankfully, they'd found cover from the blizzard, and if someone could warm him up, it was Vala. He mentally rolled his eyes at his train of thoughts. He'd never hear the end of it if she knew what was going on in his head sometimes...
