I can't see her well in the dark, but I know it's that dream woman from the faint scent of jasmine.

The light is directed at the needles protruding from my right hand. "Ok, this is going to sting. Take a deep breath while I pull these out, and try not to scream." I take a shaky breath, and grit my teeth hard as I feel tapes and needles being withdrawn from my skin.

A soft click sound emit from below me next as she unlocks my leg restraint with much less effort than the previous time. "Can you control the bed to move up? It'll make it easier for me to lift you later on." My fingers scramble around to feel for the remote, but I can't find it in the dark. A clink echoing throughout the room makes her raise her head from the end of the bed, as she swiftly dart over to my left.

She shine the beam onto my side, and I can hear a hiss escaping from her lips. "Damn it, they handcuffed you too." She grip the torch with her teeth as she set to work on removing the shackles, and after a few minutes, the metal sinks onto the mattress. The cot slowly shifts up with her keeping her finger on the button.

"Now for the last part. It might hurt a bit, but don't worry, there's nothing there I haven't seen before. Good thing I have so many of these that I jacked from the hospital last time." She point the torch at her face, winking at me before pulling out an empty syringe and moving to the end of the bed again. I feel a slight tingling as something is being pulled out from my privates, my face growing hot at the sensation. Her fingers running over it gently with some wet wipes totally didn't help the situation.

She flashes that seductive smirk at me again as she look up, "All done. Let's go before they notice us. We're both screwed if that happens." She passes the flashlight to me before wrapping both arms around my waist to allow me to fall into her, and practically carry-drag me over to the window.

My back is laid onto the cool glass surface as she takes the torch back and looks into my eyes. It's almost like she is gazing straight into my soul. "Do you trust me?"

I nod at her without hesitation.

She pry open the window latch, and turns me around, shining the beam onto the ground below. My stomach lurch on looking down, my legs turning more wobbly if that's even a thing. "It's not possible for you to scale the building with me in your current condition. That's the only way we can get down from here, and it's only a forty foot drop. There is an air sack below, hopefully Oliver put it in the right place or I'll haunt him for the rest of eternity along with you."

I grip hard onto the metal latch for dear life, and look up at her, feeling sick to my stomach. She gives me what seems to be a smile that's supposed to be reassuring, but I feel anything except that. "You look green, Vega. Guess I'll have to give you a hand, just like old times."

Before I can wrap my head around what she's saying, I feel a firm shove from behind me. My heart almost jumps out of my mouth as I find myself not on solid tiles, but pummelling towards the ground to my death. All I can do is to shut my eyes tightly, hoping that it doesn't hurt too much when my body smashes onto the concrete below.

I land on something airy that cushions my fall with a loud thud, before two strong arms grab onto my own to drag me off. Kicking and flailing around with my one good leg, I am unable to stop myself from being moved. I try to scream, but only an odd gurgling sound comes out.

"Stop, stop! I need to move you so she won't land on you when she jumps."

I stop struggling to look at the boy who heaved me off the air sack. He has a flashlight held in his jaws, and I recognize him as the one with the fluffy hair I saw in my dreams.

Lights suddenly turn on from the grey building beside us, blinding me temporary. When I regain my vision, I see heads staring down from the glass panes of several floors.

The guy beside me shouted at the girl still standing three storeys above. "Jump quickly! They spotted us! We've got to go, now!"

Another loud thud echoes throughout the silent night. The pretty one hauls herself off the air cushion as footsteps reverberate all around us. The boy flips me over and heave me over his shoulder, as the other girl catches up to us. They jog towards a waiting pickup. He jumps into the driver's seat after setting me down onto the back of the truck, the girl leaping in at the same time.

The vehicle screeches off from the premises.

I take in a huge gulp of air in relief. So I haven't died from the fall, and am now sitting in the back of some truck. The woman beside me cups my face in her hands, bringing my attention to her. She looks at me with so much emotions from her beautiful turquoise eyes. I can't identify them all, but there is some relief, mixed with happiness and pain?

Pressing me into her chest, her voice vibrate throughout her entire torso. "It has been too long, Vega. Much too long. Why aren't you saying anything? I miss your singsong voice."

I shift out of her arms to look up at her, and open my mouth to try to say something, but nothing comes out. Other than the fact that I can't make a sound, all my neurons feels fried. "Never mind, don't say anything. Just let me hold you."

She push my chest back into hers, running her palm up and down my back soothingly as I settle into her warm welcoming arms. This feels so familiar, so safe, and it's like something we have done before plenty of times. I feel my breathing even out, my mind going into slumber mode as she slowly caresses my hair and kisses the top of my head.
