I own nothing, Bleach and all its characters belong to Tite Kubo and every part of the Norse mythos belongs to absolutely no one, this is coming from a Norse Pagan.
Left, right, low, high, left, center, center, dodge! Ichigo mentally said as he blocked the extending blade of Gin before narrowly dodging the silver sword aimed for his eye. Gin was on a heavy offensive, his speed giving him a heavy advantage only allowing Ichigo to be defensive. The captain's snake-like grin never receded as he pushed the orange-haired invader back, thinking he had the advantage.
And like the sudden blow from a hammer, Ichigo shocked Gin by grabbing his wrist in mid-thrust but it did not end there. The captain was tossed aside like a ragdoll, hurtling towards the white wall that the Invader had just shut not moments ago and slammed into it. Ichigo slowly approached the Captain as he got back up to his feet.
"Whoo, I have to say Kurosaki-san, you're a scary kid. I like the get-up too, very barbaric looking."
"I'll show you Barbaric, false Death-god," Ichigo growled out, his voice echoed by another.
"False eh? Makes it sound like you think you're a real Death-god." Gin vanished in a flash step, attempting to get behind the orangette.
He was intercepted with a hand around his throat and before he knew it, his back was slammed into the ground.
"I'm more than just a real one," Ichigo expressed as he attempted to squeeze the life out of the captain.
"Che," Gin looked up at Ichigo, his icy blue eyes showing humor. "Cocky little shit ain'tcha. Hado #1, SHŌ!"
A kinetic blast shot from a pointed finger that was aimed at Ichigo's chest, sending him blasting back through the air, violently crashing into the sandy ground hundreds of meters away. Gin rose to his knees, rubbing his throat where a visible handmark had been. "You sure are one scary kid."
"So that's the Shinigami magic huh?" Ichigo mumbled under his breath, rising to his feet and cracking his neck. "Hat-n'-Clogs gave me a small sample but I always knew he was holding back."
"It was an impressive display of power, for a soul that is," One-Eye agreed in his head. "But you know some magic as well. Or have you already forgotten what I taught you?"
"Hard not to forget, not like you used them on me as an 'example'."
"You learned them in the end didn't you?"
"Well, yeah but that's hardly the point."
"I believe that's exactly the point. Now, why don't you use this Captain as an 'example'."
"Yo!" Gin yelled out, "You done talking to yourself over there? I don't think we're quite done here."
Ichigo narrowed his eyes, "Something isn't right here. I almost killed him yet he seems too happy."
"So you noticed. Good. I believe he is trying to learn more about what you have up your sleeve, what you can do."
"And you want me to show him?"
"Oh yes. There is none here that can challenge you besides two. Let this fool face the might of a true god!"
"Che, if you say so. Oi, false death-god! Do you think you're the only one with spells? Try this on for size!" Ichigo yelled back at the violet-haired Captain who's snake-like grin never wavered.
The young orangette breathed deeply, tapping into his vast reserve of power, letting it flow up from his core to his left arm which he raised towards Gin, two fingers extended. He imagined the power in his head. The power of one of the two primordial realms, at the base of the Tree of Life. The power running through him became hot, the tarnished smell of sulfur overtook his sense of smell.
"What's this?" Gin asked himself, watching curiously as the boy's spiritual pressure rose, turning visible from blue to a vibrant orange. Ichigo drew in the air, moving downward diagonally, then downward again stopping at where his fingers originally lied ᚲ. "Kaun!" Ichigo exclaimed loudly as a torrent of fire swirled from the floating Rune, taking over Gin's vision.
-On the other side of the Wall-
"Is Kurosaki-Kun okay, Yoruichi-sama?" Orihime asked the black cat as she healed the giant of a Shinigami, her orange shield surrounding Jidanbō's chest where Ichigo had kicked him out of the way. The kick had been strong enough to not only send the giant flying but had also broken his sternum. A crowd of the locals had come out of hiding, giving their thanks to the girl for healing Jidanbō.
"It's hard to tell, the Seireiheki is made of Sekkiseki, a stone that negates all Reiryoku, so it can be difficult to tell what's going on." The cat replied
"He'll be fine," Sado said solemnly as he gazed up at the gate. "Ichigo is strong, stronger than he was before. Whatever is on the other side of that wall, he'll overcome it."
"I agree though I hate to admit it," Uryu added as he adjusted his glasses. "He had some unruly Spiritual Pressure before but now it seems unnatural."
"You all have a lot of confidence in him," a wave of fire exploded over the wall, riding up the invisible field that contained the Seireitei.
"The Captain Commander!" A random soul shouted in the crowd, "He's here!"
The crowd of souls stir in fear, the mere title of the head of the Gotei 13 causing unrest. Uryu narrowed his eyes, "Would he actually be here?"
"No, this fire isn't his. His is like the sun above our heads but this, this is different." Yoruichi replied. "Your confidence seems to not have been misplaced. Come, there's another way in."
"Wait, you're saying that's Ichigo?"
"It would seem so, no other Shinigami I know of has a fire Zanpakuto like that. Must be his Shikai, Urahara said it wasn't like anything he had ever seen before and this must be it. Now follow, we have a ways to go before we reach her."
"Reach who Yoruichi-sama?" Orihime asked innocently.
"Kukkaku Shiba,"
-Back in the Seireitei-
"Whhhoooooooo that was hot," Gin said allowed as a squad led by a black-haired man with torn sleeves and a 69 tattooed on his cheek ran towards him, weapons at the ready.
"Captain Ichimaru! Are you okay?" The black-haired man asked.
"Oh thank you for asking Lieutenant Hisagi. I'm a bit singed but quite alright all things considered. Did you happen to see the Ryoka?"
"No Captain. He got away?"
"It would seem so, ah well, no helping it now."
"Captain, the Commander has requested your presence."
"Has he now? Well, I suppose I shouldn't keep him waiting, mind looking around for the Ryoka. You can't miss him."
Hisagi looked up at the wall behind the Captain, a shadow of concern across his face. "Right, I'll get started on a search party." He turned and started to spout orders at the Shinigami that had followed who had quickly dispersed to follow out said orders.
Gin turned back to the wall, his grin never leaving his face but his shining blue eyes opened taking in the sight of the once-white stone wall had partially melted into black soot.
"He really is one scary kid, what will you do now Aizen-taicho?"
-Hundreds of Kilometers away on a random building-
"Was it really necessary to drawback? We could have had one less Captain to worry about through this whole invasion." Ichigo asked as he watched the setting sun.
"I agree, unfortunately, it was out of my hands. The Norns demanded that one be spared, it would seem his death was sewn for another time and is imperative to keep him alive until that time comes."
"Right, well are there ANY others I can't kill?"
"As far as I'm aware he is the only one, but for now find a place to rest. That Rune took more out of you than I expected, though you did put more power into it than was necessary."
"Not my fault, I thought we were trying to kill him," Ichigo grumbled.
"As did I but that does excuse the fact you had used too much of your energy. What if another, stronger Captain had appeared after? Before you could recover?"
"I get it, I get it. I'll be more careful with my energy. Though you aren't helping, you keep saying we're stronger than anyone here yet you keep telling me to hold back."
"Just because we are gods, does not mean we are above fate."
"So, what? This is all a part of Norns plan?"
"You must understand Ichigo, I was not meant to be your Zanpakuto. Me being your weapon has changed many things that were supposed to happen. The Norns are not happy."
Ichigo hummed, "Who was supposed to be my Zanpakuto if not you, One-Eye?"
" . . . I'll tell you about them after this Raid."
"Them?"
One-Eye stayed silent and Ichigo huffed, "Fine stay silent about this. And just for the record, you still haven't told me about my heritage either even though you said you would."
He lied back on the rooftop he was currently on, looking up at the starless sky above, small wisps of clouds appearing at the corner of his eyes before he closed his eyes, letting sleep take him.
-In an undisclosed place in the Seireitei-
"A rune you say?" a brown-haired man inquired, his glasses reflecting the screen he was gazing at with interest. A captain's cloak resting on his shoulders.
"Yep," Gin Ichimaru confirmed. "Hard not to notice, to be honest. Called himself a Drengr too, what does that mean again?"
"Honorable Warrior," Another man replied, his skin darker than his peers, dreaded purple hair, and a silver visor covering his eyes. He too wore a Captain's cloak but an orange scarf covered his neck.
"Right, that. You're memory always amazes me Tōsen-san!" Gin said excitedly. "So what do you think Aizen-taicho?"
Aizen continued to stare at the screen before him, an image of Ichigo paused in a moment during his fight with Gin. His leather cape flowing behind him, two hands gripping his sword defensively, eyes glowing gray.
"This is certainly a conundrum, but the plan will continue as is. We will merely have to speed it up. The note is already ready for my Lieutenant, you know your part Gin?"
"Yes, yes, yes. Shame for poor Momo though, she is quite affiliated with you. And to turn her on her childhood friend? Oh, you are heartless Aizen-sama!"
Aizen merely smirked, "For one to stand above the heavens, you can never be too merciless."

I'm very glad that you're looking forward to more, I've seen a few that were mixed but I don't recall the titles nor did I like them that much. I'm hoping this lives up to your hopes.
R. I. Diana Rosdaunt: Is Ichigo Odin's descendant ?, Oh and what about rune magic? The norse are known for that! Imagine the Gotei use Kidou and all Ichigo did was drew symbol and boom kablam left and right
No Ichigo will not be Odin's descendant, as he said in the second Chapter he was merely bored and Ichigo drew his attention, but more will be revealed in later chapters. And I honestly didn't even think about runes until you reviewed, hopefully, this is what you had in mind, and don't worry, there'll be plenty more runes!
