Narcissa made her way to the blacksmith's shop which she found to be empty except for a passed out Mr. Brown and a donkey. She ate the apple as she looking around at all the swords Will made. Narcissa heard the door open and turned, expecting to see Will only to find a lanky pirate with long brown dread locks, a red bandanna, brown eyes and far too much eyeliner. She also noticed that while he carried a sword his hands were cuffed

"Hello luv, now I just need to free myself of these chains so why don't you stay right there and nobody needs get hurt."

Narcissa grabbed a sword and pointed it at the pirate.

"I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request," the pirate looked confused and she rolled her eyes.

"It means no." A look of shock crossed his face before he said,

"You sure you know how to use that thing?"

"Why don't we find out?" replied Narcissa moving in to strike him. He blocked her blow and their blades clashed.

"So you do know what you're doing," said the pirate. Over and over the clang of their blades rang out. Narcissa felt slightly hindered by her dress but this was balanced out by the pirate's cuffed hands which prevented proper movement. After a couple minutes Narcissa disarmed him, her sword now pointed at his heart.

"Tell me lass, whats your name?"

"Give me your's pirate and I'll give you mine."

"Captain Jack Sparrow," said the pirate with a smirk and Narcissa raised her eyebrows. She had heard of Jack. He had quite a reputation as an excellent pirate with a love of rum and lot of luck.

"Narcissa Davis," she asked keeping her eyes on him. She watched as his eyes widened.

"Narciss...Hang on. You wouldn't be Hector's daughter would you?" Narcissa felt her heart leap and she tried to keep a neutral expression.

"Hector who?"

"Barbossa. The pirate. I'm surprised the ugly old dog could produce something so fetching." Narcissa swiftly pressed the sword to the pirate's throat.

"How do you know my father?" she said sharply. The pirate snorted.

"I'd know that eye roll anywhere,"

"Tell me what you know about my father!" demanded Narcissa.

"Well, now it looks like I have something to bargain with. You want information and I want to get free of these chains what do you say we strike a bargain? Information on your dear daddy for my freedom. Savvy?"

Narcissa considered the offer for a moment. On the one hand he was a pirate and untrustworthy. On the other hand, he could tell her about her father.

"We have an accord." She removed her the sword and stepped aside although she kept the sword at the ready.

"Your father happens to be my mutinous ex first mate."

"So he's alive then," said Narcissa relief flooding her.

"Unfortunately. Although that was ten years ago. The last time I saw him he had marooned me on an island and commandeered my ship, The Black Pearl," Jack had looped the chains over an anvil and was banging at them with a hammer to no avail.

"Hmm. I suppose I could see that."

"You know you could lend a hand here," he added irritably.

"I could," agreed Narcissa with a smirk but not moving.

"I bargained for my freedom luv,"

"You never said I had to help you," replied Narcissa.

"Just like yer dear ol' dad with your technicalities," muttered Jack as he looked up at the rotating device holding the swords she saw his face light up.

"So he spoke about me?" she asked as Jack heated up a poker.

"Just the once and mind you I wasn't entirely sure whether to take him seriously considering he had been drinking." Jack told her as he touched the heated end of the poker to the donkey causing the rotating device to turn. Jack got the chain between the gears of the device and it snapped just as the door opened to reveal Will.

"Oh, Cissa you're early,"

"Yes I am and..."

"What's this?" asked Will cutting her off and reaching for the pirate hat that sat on a workbench. Before he could touch it a sword appeared in front of it the flat of the blade slapping his hand away. Will jumped back as Jack stepped out his sword pointed at Will.

"As I was about to say, we have a pirate in the shop," said Narcissa in a false cheerful tone.

"You're the one their looking for," said Will. Jack tipped his hat and then looked closer at Will's face.

"You look familiar, have I threatened you before?" Narcissa would have laughed if the situation weren't so serious.

"I make a point of avoiding familiarity with pirates," said Will contemptiously.

"Ah, then it would be a shame to put a black mark on your record. So if you'll excuse me..." Jack made to leave but Will grabbed a sword and pointed it at him.

"Do you think it wise to cross swords with a pirate?" asked Jack

"Yes, Will, do you?" asked Narcissa. She had won against Jack only because he had the disadvatage of his chained hands. Now that he was free, Narcissa wasn't sure that even Will's considerable sword fighting skill was a match for a pirate with likely far more experience.

"Do yourself a favor and listen to the girl," said Jack.

"You threatened Miss Swann," said Will and Narcissa's eyes widened.

"What!?"

"Only a little. I also saved her life mate," said Jack.

"What happened?" asked Narcissa but both men ignored her as they engaged in a sword fight. Narcissa stepped back out of the way watching the two men. It was honestly a bit entertaining.

Jack got his back to the door but Will threw a sword which buried itself above the latch inches away from Jack who tried, and failed to pull it out. He turned back to Will.

"Good trick lad, but now you've lost your sword."

"Not quite," said Narcissa, tossing Will her blade. The fight resumed. Will was disarmed but grabbed another sword from the many that surrounded them.

"Who makes all these?" asked Jack in an annoyed tone as the two men fought.

"I do, and I practice with them at least 3 hours a day," Will told him.

"You need to get a girl mate," Narcissa saw Will's jaw tighten. Jack seemed to notice.

"Unless that's why you practice three hours a day. You've found one but are incabable of wooing said strumpet."

"Not wrong," chimmed in Narcissa leaning against the wall.

"You're not a eunuch are you?" asked Jack as an afterthought.

"I practice with them three hours a day, so that when I meet a pirate, I can kill him!" said Will as his blade clashed with Jacks at lightening speed. They began fighting on a cart moving back and forth to keep it balanced until Jack's chain became caught on the rafter's above. When he got himself free his resulting fall onto the cart sent Will up into the rafters. Will cut a bunch of barrels which crashed down and sent Jack also flying up to join him.

Narcissa craned her neck to watch them jumping about culminating in both of them coming back to the ground and Jack blowing a bag of dirt in Will's face allowing him to disarm Will in the confusion. Jack pointed his gun at Will.

"You cheated," said Will. Narcissa rolled her eyes at Will's naivete.

"Pirate," said Jack smuggly. Will got between Jack and the door as outside the guards could be heard approaching.

"Move! Jack ordered but he didn't shoot which puzzled Narcissa.

"I can't let you go," said Will. Thinking quickly Narcissa grabbed the bottle of whisky from Mr. Brown's hand and cracked it over Jacks head just as the militia burst through the door. They took in the sight of Narcissa with the broken bottle, Will covered in dirt, and Jack unconcious on the floor. Norrington spoke.

"Well, gentlemen. You will remember this as the day that Captain Jack Sparrow ALMOST escaped."
