The crew had reboarded The Pearl and set sail while Captain Barbossa took Jack to the Captain's cabin with Narcissa in toe. Jack now prowled the cabin while he and Narcissa sat at the table.

"So, you expect to leave me standing on some beach with nothing but a location and your word it's the one I need and watch you sail away on my ship?" he asked Jack.

"No, I expect to leave you standing on some beach with no location at all, while I sail away on my ship, and then I'll shout the location back at you. Savvy?" Narcissa scoffed as she stroked Jack the monkey.

"That's the most ridiculous deal I ever heard. Nobody in their right mind would accept it. By the time father got off the island Will could be miles away. You lack anything of true value." Barbossa smirked at her words pleased with how she delt with Sparrow. Jack snorted.

"Real chip off the old block there, Barbossa."

"Aye that she is. But that still leaves us with the problem of me on a beach with naught but the location and your word it's the one I need."

"Well, since I'm the only pirate who hasn't committed mutiny it's my word will be trusting," said Jack.

"Technically by the standards of the East India Trading company I am a pirate." chipped in Narcissa. Jack sat down and placed his feet on the table as he took an apple.

"Although I suppose I should be thanking you because in fact, if you hadn't betrayed me and left me to die I would have an equal share in that curse same as you. Funny ol' world, innit? Jack picked up one of the green apples.

"Apple?" he offered the apple.

"Thank you," said Narcissa taking the apple. Barbossa was surprised until a second later when she threw the apple at Sparrow, hitting him in the head. Said man yelped and rubbed the spot where the apple hit.

"It seems your daughter inherited your violent temper." Barbossa smirked with pride.

"Nay that's her mother's temper coming out."

Bo'sun entered the cabin.

"Captain, we're coming up on the Interceptor." The three of them all hurried out onto the deck of the Pearl where Barbossa pulled out a spy glass to get a better look at the white sailed ship they were approaching. He saw his daughter glance at him.

"Will must be on that ship," she then turned to look at Jack with a smirk.

"It seems your usefulness has expired." Jack now looked slightly panicked which pleased Barbossa as he stepped in front of them

"I'm having a thought here Barbossa. What say we run up the flag of truce? I run over and negotiate the return of your medallion. Eh? What do ye say to that?" Barbossa scoffed. This would be an easy battle.

"No, you see Jack. That's the attitude that lost you the Pearl. People are easier to search when they're captured or dead." He motioned for Jack to be taken to the brig.

"You've got to be careful or you might kill Will in this battle," Narcissa told him as he turned to look at her.

"That's true, which is why the crew will be captured before we send their ship to the bottom of the sea. Speaking of the battle I want you to go into my cabin so you're out of the way." Narcissa met his gaze.

"And what if a cannon ball rips through into the Captain's quarters? Nowhere is truly safe on a ship during a battle. I'm not leaving. Especially since you'll need me to identify Turner."

"I don't want ye getting hurt," Barbossa argued annoyed, if not completely surprised, by his daughter's defiance. Narcissa sighed.

"You can't coddle me father, especially if I'm going to be joining you after this is all over. Will you hide me below deck every time there's a conflict?"

Barbossa had to admit she had a point.

"Fine but ye stay right by me, are we clear?" he told her sharply. Narcissa smiled and nodded.

"Haul on the main brace and make ready the guns!" he yelled across the ship and the crew immediately followed his instructions. He turned to Bo'sun.

"Run out the sweeps."

"They're trying to outrun us by lightening the ship," Narcissa said. He looked over to see her pointing into the water which now had several barrels and boxes floating.

"It's an exercise in futility. No ship can outrun the Pearl." He told her.

Suddenly the Interceptor dropped its anchor and began to turn.

"They're club-haulin'! Hard to Port! Rack the starboard oars!" Captain Barbossa ordered. Once again, the crew followed instructions as the two ships came along side each other, her father lifted his sword.

"Fire!" he cried and the cannons went off hitting the Interceptor which fired back. Curiously they didn't seem to be firing canon, balls. Instead, bits of glass, nails, and even silverware were sent towards the Pearl. Barbossa stepped slightly in front of her one hand on her shoulder.

"Well, I suppose you've got to give them points for ingenuity," he heard Narcissa mutter.

A cannonball from the Pearl collided with the mast of the Interceptor, shattering the wood slowly the mast began to fall heading in the direction of Barbossa and Narcissa. His daughter glanced up at him in fear at the falling mast but Barbossa shook his head indicating they should stay where they were. With a resounding crash the mast landed less than a foot away from them.

"Pistols and cutlasses, men! Koehler, Twigg-to the powder magazine! And the rest of you-bring me that medallion!" Barbossa bellowed as pirates from the Pearl now swung over to the Interceptor. Jack the monkey jumped off Narcissa's shoulder and scurried over to the Pearl.

It wasn't long before the crew of the Pearl overpowered the Interceptor, Barbossa smirked as the crew of the Interceptor were dragged over and tied to the mast. Jack the monkey raced up the fallen mast of the Interceptor carrying the medallion followed by Sparrow.

"Thank ye Jack," said Barbossa as he took the medallion. Sparrow straightened up.

"You're welcome."

"Not you, we named the monkey Jack," Barbossa told him smugly. "Gents! Our hope is restored!" he called to the crew before noticing Narcissa was no longer at his side.

Looking over Barbossa saw she had run to Miss Swann, who was being brought over.

"Elizabeth! Where's Will?" he heard her ask.

"That's the last of the prisoners!" called Ragetti just as the interceptor exploded Miss Swann screamed and made to slap Barbossa who simply grabbed her.

"Welcome back Miss. You took advantage of our hospitality last time, it hold fair you return the favor," he pushed her away and Narcissa caught her. His daughter shot him an annoyed look which he ignored. Suddenly a voice came from the starboard side of the ship.

"Barbossa! They go free!" He turned to see a young man who resembled a young Bootstrap Bill standing on the railing a pistol pointed at him. Barbossa ignored the pistol and walked straight up to him.

"What's in yer head boy? Ye've got one shot and we can't die."

"You can't but I can!" said the boy holding the pistol to his head.

"Who are ye?" asked Barbossa, although he had a pretty good idea already. Jack rushed in front of him.

"No one! A distant cousin of my aunt's nephew twice removed. Lovely singing voice. Eunuch." Barbossa ignored Jack's irritating rambling.

"My name is William Turner. I'm the son of Bootstrap Bill Turner. His blood runs in my veins."

"He's the spitting image of Bootstrap come back to haunt us!" exclaimed Ragetti.

"On my word, do as I say or I'll pull this trigger and be lost to Davy Jones's locker.".

"Name yer terms," Barbossa told Turner calmly.

"Elizabeth goes free." Barbossa rolled his eyes.

"Yes, we got that. Anything else?" Will paused as if he hadn't thought that far ahead.

"Narcissa too! And the crew are not to be harmed."

"Narcissa does as she wishes. But otherwise agreed." Barbossa told him with a smile. The boy jumped down and handed over his gun.

"Barbossa you bastard! You said she'd go free!" the Will yelled as preparations to maroon Jack and Elizabeth were made.

"Don't impugn me honor boy! I said she'd go free and she will. It was you who failed to specify the time and place," Narcissa's father told him with a smirk. Narcissa, who was panicking as Elizabeth was led towards the plank grabbed her father's arm.

"What the hell are you doing!? What about your promise to me?"

"And I'll keep my word," he told her.

"I don't see how marooning my sister is keeping your word!" Narcissa argued anger filling her.

"I won't have ye questioning my decisions," her father said sharply.

"Fine! Then I'll join Jack and Elizabeth!" she said. It was her father's turn to grab her now.

"Absolutely not!" he told her.

"What? You'll keep your own daughter prisoner even if she despises you?"

"If that's necessary!" came the angry reply. Elizabeth was now being pushed out onto the plank.

She felt Pintel and Ragetti grab her arms so as to prevent her from following through on her threat. Her father turned to Elizabeth.

"It seems a shame to lose something so fine," he began and for a moment Narcissa felt hope flare within her, only to have it crushed as her father continued. "So I'll be having the dress back."

Elizabeth pulled it off and threw it at Barbossa who caught it and chuckled.

"It's still warm."

"Well, it's not like you can feel it. Or anything for that matter although I don't think that's all due to the curse you evil bastard." Narcissa sneered and she could have sworn she saw hurt in her father's eyes at her words.

"I've had enough of your lip missy. Lock her in the cabin!" he ordered and she was pulled towards the captain's quarters. As the door shut behind her Narcissa heard a splash.

She felt completely betrayed. She knew her father was a pirate. That he often lied, tricked, and cheated his way through life. But she had always trusted him. Now that trust was shattered.

Several minutes passed and the door opened a glance told her it was her father. Narcissa rounded on him.

"I trusted you! Elizabeth said I shouldn't have but I didn't listen, because I thought the fact that you were my father actually meant something! You horrid, cruel..."

"Belay that talk missy, and shut yer trap," her father yelled shocking Narcissa into silence. He had never actually yelled at her before. She crossed her arms and glared at him.

"If ye'd let me explain ye'll see I have every intention of keeping my promise to ye," his voice was quieter as he spoke.

"That island happens to be commonly passed by ships. If yer Miss Elizabeth has any sense she'll send up a signal and likely be rescued within a few days. Especially if the Royal Navy is out looking fer her." Some of Narcissa's anger began to drain away as she took in this information. And then it hit her.

"If she's rescued on that island she can get back to Port Royal without you having to bother risking capture by dropping her off at a port, and if Jack is with her, he'll be hanged for piracy getting him out of your hair."

"Exactly," her father told her seemingly relieved that she had figured things out. Narcissa's mind drifted back to her father taking the dress.

"The dress would have weighed her down in the water,"

"Yes, but I'm sure ye can appreciate that I have a reputation to maintain." There was some humor in her father's voice now.

"You really do plan for everything."

"I'm glad ye finally see that," her father told her gruffly as he moved to look at his charts. Narcissa bit her lip and tentatively stepped towards him.

"I'm sorry for what I said earlier. I don't despise you." Her father glanced up at her his lips twitching upward in a small smile.

"I know. And fer what it's worth, I can understand yer anger. Ye had no way of knowing me plan."

"Then we're both forgiven." Narcissa said as she covered one of his large hands with her smaller one.

Author's note: I know it makes a little less sense with it just being the location rather than identity but I didn't want Narcissa to have lied to her father. But I also wanted to put some conflict between these two. I hope you enjoyed it and would love to know what you think of some of the changes. Please leave your thoughts (preferably slightly detailed) in the comments. Either way I'm grateful for everyone who is reading this! Thank you and until next week!
