Chapter 4
The Rangers were just letting time go by as they relaxed in the park on a warm Saturday afternoon. "Oh man" said Vanessa as she, Theo, Jack and Connor threw a softball back and forth "we needed this". "Yeah between all the training Yen Sid has us doing and Hades and the goon squad we seriously needed a day off" agreed Jack as he threw the ball to Connor. While they played the rest of their teammates sat under the shade of several trees just talking. "Yen Sid said that Hades commanded four titans one for each element" said Jessica "we already dealt with earth so who knows what he's going to throw at us next". "Whatever it is we've got it" said Leo "and were not alone we've got the essences of all the Disney Heroes backing us up and three future teammates just waiting to join up" he declared. "And thank you Captain Positive for your input" said Traci teasingly earning giggles from Jessie and Melody. Suddenly in the distance thunder clouds began to develop and from these clouds red lightning began to develop. The Rangers stared at the clouds before exchanging looks, "Goodbye fun time and hello Morphin time" signed Jack. "Disney/Chaos Power Ranger Power Ha" they cried as they donned their Ranger forms and raced to the site of the storm on the Disney/Chaos Racers. What the Rangers didn't know was that several old friends of theirs had already arrived at that exact location. Hades and his generals watched as the Lightning struck the ground and from the smoke came three very distinct people. One was a large man rivalling Gaston's size he was dressed in animal furs and had near grey skin and sharp yellow eyes and dark hair and in his hand he held a serrated sword: this was Shan Yu. The second was what appeared to be a sentient grey burlap sack with a rather rotund figure and his eyes were two empty black holes as was his mouth: this was Oogie Boogie. The third and final figure was a middle-aged man with a goatee, he wore royal robes and headdress with a mix of black and red colours and in his hand was a golden snake staff. His name was Jafar, and he had come to conquer. "Well, well" said Jafar as he and his cohorts stopped a few feet away from Hades crew "if it isn't the god who would be king and his backup singers" he mocked earning laughs from his friends. "Jafar old boy" said Hades "great seeing you…now how's about you GET OFF MY PLANET" he roared his flames engulfing his whole form in his rage. "I think not" said Shan Yu speaking up "You had your chance to rule in the old war and failed as has Maleficent here, this world is for the Strong to rule". "Ha-ha" laughed Oogie "yeah and not a bunch of washed-up hacks" he mocked earning looks of rage from the opposing team. "Those are some strong words you bloated bag of bugs" snarled Gaston. Jafar and Hades held each other's gaze for several seconds before raising their staff and hand respectively and shot blasts of blue fire and red lightning at the other, the two attacks cancelling the other out. The Rangers soon arrived on the scene and took in the second group of villains. "Call this a hunch but I don't think hothead and Mr snake stick are friends" whispered Traci to her team. Hades turned to Gaston "you said you gotta a new weapon well let's see it" he demanded. Gaston raised his sword, and its jewel began to glow "Gaston Zord 2 arise" he commanded and from the ground beneath him a new Zord appeared, it was a massive black bot with an even bulkier built then the first though like its predecessor its face was designed to look exactly like Gaston's. "The Rangers and these wannabee villains" said Gaston as he took his seat in the Zord cockpit "this must be my lucky day" he laughed readying the weapon system. "Let me help you TURN UP THE HEAT" Hades declared as he summoned an essence…that glowed fiery red. Hades shot the essence into the air, and it became a giant blob monster made of pure lava. "Titan number two: fire" said Jack as the Rangers moved back to avoid the lava. "Yen Sid told me about this one" said Jessica "his name is Pyros: The lord of flame". Jafar smirked "I have travelled across the multiverse building my own army" he declared raising his staff "let me show you a few off my own toys" he said as is staff glowed red. He summoned a massive Zord of his own. It resembled a type of armoured soldier with armour that had snake patterns and its face resembled a king cobra. The three new villains soon boarded the cockpit of this new Zord. "OH" said Oogie "this is gonna be fun". "Disney/Chaos Zord's arise" the Rangers cried summoning their own Megazord's "Darkness strike" Gaston roared as his Zord shot bursts of black lightning from its fingertips. "Try this on for size" said Oogie pressing a button on his side of the cockpit causing two disks of pure electric energy to develop on the evil Zord's hand. The disks proceeded to spin out at both Gaston and the Chaos Megazord. "Tiger jab" cried Connor as his Zord arm glowed bright Red and punched Jafar's team Zord. "Buurrnn" Pyros moaned out before spewing lava at the Disney Megazord. "Gross" groaned Melody as the titan had basically barfed on them. "Great Prince of the Forest arise" cried Leo as the Deer Zord appeared in a burst of light and took the place of the Dove Zord. "Light arrow" cried the Rangers as they shot a burst of light in the shape of an arrow at Gaston's Zord. Pyros opened his maw wide and let fiery energy develop within. "Atlantica blast" cried the Rangers as the Dolphin Zord morphed itself into a blaster and shot a burst of aqua blue energy at the Titan as he in turn spewed a blast of fiery red energy the two clashing against each other until finally the Rangers blast won out and hit the fire Titan dead on in a burst of water. "Raaggghh" Pyros moaned as his whole body hardened to rock as his fire was extinguished and almost immediately grumbled to pieces. "You'll pay for that Rangers" growled Gaston as he advanced on them. "Don't think so Meathead" said Traci as the Chaos Megazord stepped forward "Tail slam" cried the Chaos Rangers as the Crock Zord's tail extended from behind the Megazord and grabbed Gaston's Zord and spun it in the air before throwing it to the ground. "You'll be sorry Rangers" Gaston roared as he escaped his Zord before it exploded. "Well, it seems that you Rangers are more powerful than we anticipated" Laughed Jafar. "Who are you?" questioned Leo as the two Megazord's stood side by side. "Call me Jafar future ruler of this world" he introduced himself "though I admit conquering this strange and Primitive world may be more difficult than I believed…I can't wait to get started" he laughed madly before his Zord disappeared. The Rangers soon returned to the tower and saw Yen Sid looking quite disturbed. "Who were they?" asked Jessie as the Rangers took their seats around their mentor's desk. "Jafar is an evil Wizard from Disney whose powers rival that of my own" said Yen Sid as the Rangers hung to his every word "once he served as Maleficent's second in command before allying with his two allies Shan Yu a ruthless Warlord and Oogie Boogie a cruel hearted creature from a third world to conquer my and all other worlds" he explained. "Rangers now that they have arrived I fear…" Yen Sid took a deep breath "I fear that dark times may be upon us" he whispered gravely as the Rangers exchanged looks.
