Chapter 5
The Rangers were in Shanghai. "I cannot believe we are in Shanghai" cried Traci exuberantly as they stared at the awe-inspiring city skyline "hey why are we in Shanghai?" she asked confusedly. "Master Yen Sid said he was able to detect a morpher somewhere near this city" said Leo "and that were going to need to find this Morpher to stop both Hades and Jafar". "So, any idea on what this Rangers deal is gonna be?" asked Jack "we already have Courage, Heart and wisdom to name a few". "And Rage and Savagery to name a few others" Traci added cheerfully. "Yen Sid said that the hero whose essences makes up this morpher was one of the most honourable warriors he ever knew" explained Jessica. "Hey, isn't that fried of yours visiting Shanghai this weekend?" asked Vanessa to Jessica. "Fei, yeah she's visiting her father's grave" said Jessica "probably shouldn't let her know where here". "Come on" said Leo "we can play tourist later right now Yen Sid said the essence can be found in Gongqing Forest Park" he explained as he led the team in the direction of said park. What the Rangers didn't know was that a few 'old friends' were waiting for them in the Forest. "Come on you bone bags move it" ordered Gaston as the skeletal warriors began laying out a trap for the Rangers, said trap was a pressure plate where when someone stood atop it four spears shot from the trees at supersonic speed before the prey could move. "Just need to wait a while and then BAMM a nice new Lion's head to add to the wall" Gaston snickered evilly to himself as he dismissed his skeletal troops "or a tiger or ape head also work" he mused to himself as he snuck behind a tree. He waited for several seconds until finally he heard a THWISH THUD sound of a body hitting the ground. "Yes" he laughed triumphantly as he came out from behind the tree only to freeze when he saw that instead of his desired target his trap had skewered what appeared to be…a snake man. "Not what you were expecting" a mocking voice called, and Gaston turned to see Shan Yu standing not far from him. "Stay out of my hunt Yu" growled Gaston furiously. "I think not you arrogant fool" said Shan Yu narrowing his eyes "I know just whose essence is hidden in this wood and I intend to find and destroy it and anything that gets in my way". "Well then in that case" said Gaston before drawing his sword and ran at Shan Yu "Hyah" he cried as Shan Yu countered with his own Sword. The two warriors began to duel, a duel which soon picked up speed as they moved from the clearing to the trees. "You may as well surrender Hun" mocked Gaston as the two began to circle one another "no one is stronger than Gaston". "You are a fool" Shan Yu scoffed in disgust "your body may be strong, but your mind is weak and unfocused whereas mine is strong and disciplined" he declared. "That supposed to mean something?" Gaston mockingly asked as they locked swords. "It means that the army I lead will stand victoriously over this land, while YOUR army will be buried in the dust we march through" Shan Yu snarled as they broke apart "Shadow slash" he roared as darkness developed over his sword and struck Gaston. Before Gaston could counter strike back they both froze at the sound of motorized vehicles approaching. The Rangers soon burst through the trees on their Disney and Chaos Racers and stopped a few feet from the villains. Shan Yu and Gaston soon broke away from each other and summoned their respective troops, Gaston the skeletal warriors and Shan Yu the snake men. The two villainous groups began to engage with the Rangers with Gaston's team battling the Disney Rangers with him naturally battling Leo and Shan Yu's team battling the Chaos Rangers and him fighting Connor. "You hold back Chaos Ranger" Shan Yu mocked "show me the fury of the Tiger whose power you wield, show me the nightmare that haunted Disney" he commanded as they smashed their swords against each other. "Ask and you shall receive" Connor growled as he swung his sword. What both the Rangers and Villains didn't know was that they were being watched? The viewer was none other than Jessica's friend Fei Liu, she was seventeen-year-old Chinese girl with cut short black hair she wore a pair of black trousers and red shirt beneath a navy denim jacket. She had come back to her hometown Shanghai to visit her father's grave; her father had been a soldier who gave his life fighting against terrorists and she had decide to visit the park like she used to with him and saw the Rangers from Madison battling their enemies. "Fei" a voice whispered to her prompting her to turn away from the battle, "Fei" the voice urged her forward and she soon found herself at the ruins of an ancient shrine and a glowing scarlet wrist band on its alter. As she approached it she became aware that she was not alone and saw Yen Sid appear before her very eyes. "It has chosen you child" he said gently as they stared at the altar. "What is it?" asked Fei. "It is the Scarlet Disney Ranger Morpher housing the essence of Fa Mulan one of my worlds greatest heroes" he explained "this morpher has chosen you because like her you have great Honor…just as the Morpher's pf Pocahontas and Peter Pan have chosen your friends Jessica and Jack for their great Wisdom and Spirit" he revealed as Fei looked up in surprise. "I understand that today is a solemn day for you" said Yen Sid "but if your friends are to succeeded against the forces of darkness today then they will need the power od this Morpher and it needs someone of great Honor to wield it" he said as Fei looked to the morpher. The Rangers soon found themselves at a disadvantage against their opponents, they had experience dealing with Gaston and the Skeletal warriors, but Shan Yu and the snake men were unfamiliar enemies and had the advantage. Shan Yu slashed a skeletal warrior aside and pointed his Sword at the Rangers "I was hoping for challenge" he mocked "but you Rangers fall just like all the others" he declared raising his sword only to freeze as he sensed a familiar presence. Dropping down from the treetops a new Ranger dressed in scarlet armour with a dragon-based helmet appeared. "Honor of Mulan, Scarlet Disney Ranger" she cried as her audience stared in shock. Shan Yu narrowed his eyes in fury at the sight of his old enemies chosen successor "Warriors destroy her" he roared as the Snake Men ran at the new Ranger. "Sword of the Ancestors" cried the Scarlet Ranger drawing a Jian sword with a red handle with dragon markings and had Chinese symbols engraved in gold on the blade. The Rangers could only watch as the mysterious new Ranger easily fought off the snake men and pointed her sword at Shan Yu once they had been dispatched. Shan Yu narrowed his eyes and ran at The Ranger, and the two soon found themselves locking swords. The Scarlet Ranger soon broke apart from the duel and raised her sword "Dragon slash" she cried as scarlet flames developed around her sword and she struck Shan Yu to the ground. Shan Yu soon picked himself up and saw that Gaston had already retreated and glared at the Rangers "we will finish this another day" he vowed before snapping his fingers and disappeared in a turret of dark vapour. The Rangers turned to the newest Ranger "thanks for the help but…who are you?" questioned Leo. The Scarlet Ranger raised her hands to her helmet and removed it revealing the face of "FEI" cried the other Rangers in shock dropping their transformations as Fei simply smiled.
