Monel had done the tour of the grown level of the D.E.O getting to the second level he saw Nia in the conference room looking in space, he softly knocked on the door breaking nia from her thought "Hey Mon "Nia said in a sad voice " "Hey is something wrong the whole D.E.O is acting weird and you look sad" Monel ask "You don't know" "Know what" He ask "Umm... you might want to sit down" monel did as he was told " So umm when you were on the mission. well there was an accident" Nia took a deep breath "It's Kara she's been shot 3 times during a robbery we brought her to the D.E.O and she's been in surgery ever since" Nia said with tears in her eyes, it took him a few second for him to assimilate what Nia said, but when he did he felt fear like non other and in a shaky voice he ask " How... how long as she been in surgery" "an hour" nia said, Monel got up and quickly got out of the conference room.
Monel quickly walked to the waiting room where alex was already waiting he approach her and sat on one of the chair beside her "Hey" monel said "So you heard" Alex ask " Nia told me, I'm sorry i wasn't there" "Wasn't your fault" Alex said in a sad tone "So do we know what she got shot with" "No we don't but it's kind of certain that it was kryptonite bullets" Monel just nodded, after that they just waited. After a few minutes kelly, j'onn and nia came in the room. Kelly sat down beside Alex and hugged her while she was sobbing in her shoulder.
After an other 15 minutes Dr Hamilton finally came in the room, alex got up and ask " How is she" "We stabilize and she's gonna be fine, but she lost a lot of blood so we are gonna need superman to fix that, we managed to remove all 3 bullets but they damage serval of her internal organ so when she wakes up she's gonna be in a great amount of pain" Dr Hamilton said "There something your not telling us what is it" Monel said seeing that Hamilton was frowning " We tested the bullets and well they aren't made of kryptonite they are made of lead" "Then why did the bullets not bounce off her" J'onn ask "Well her body is fighting off what i can only describe as kryptonite poisoning".
"Kryptonite poisoning?" Nia ask "Yes, Kara as been poisoned by a very weak form of kryptonite, weak enough that it would slowly kill her with out anyone knowing what's wrong" Dr Hamilton said "When can i see my sister" "After the blood transfusion"

When kara woke up the first thing that she notice was how much pain she was in, she slowly open her eyes squinting at the bright light "Alex, monel?" She ask between clench teeth "right here sis" Alex said, Kara tensed as another wave of pain course thought her body, she closed her eyes and squeezed alex monel's hand "Kara i know it hurt just hang on, im gonna go get Dr Hamilton" Monel said getting up and exiting the room. Seconds later kara's body relax "What happened" Kara ask "You don't remember" Alex ask worry etch on her face, kara nodded her head no "What's the last thing you remember" alex ask "Um...i remember getting ready to go stop a bank robbery" Kara said "Well you stopped the robber but you got shot in the process" "They had kryptonite bullets" Kara ask before another wave of pain move thought her, gritting her teeth and closing her eyes "Don't worry about it right now, you just get better" Alex said.
Dr Hamilton then came in the room followed by monel "Hello kara" Hamilton said Alex looked at Hamilton and ask "Can you give her something for the pain" "Yes im gonna go get something and its gonna keep her out for until the severity of the pain decreases some. In fact she wasn't even suppose to wake up until another day" The doctor said exiting the room to go get the medicine. She came back a minute later and injected the medicine in kara's IV, seconds later and she was out.

"Agent Moras" Lillian greeted "Henshaw said you wanted to see me" "yes i would like to know about supergirl condition" Lillian ask "Supergirl is going to be fine. The doctors know about the kryptonite poisoning, they manage to find a way to remove the kryptonite, but they are getting suspicious about why the process is taking so long" "did she woke up yet" "yes she woke up an hour ago she was in a lot of pain so the doctor decided to keep her out for an other few days" the agent said "ok great you can go, and keep me updated" the agent nodded and left. Lillian reach into his desk and got the remote controlling the kryptonite in the daxamite, she decreased the kryptonite down to 10%. A few minutes later Henshaw came in Lillian's office "Why is the kryptonite down to 10" the cyborg ask "the doctor in the D.E.O are getting suspicious because removing the kryptonite is taking longer then it should" "ok but why did you put it so low" Henshaw ask "so that way clearing the kryptonite is gonna be easier and the doctor are gonna be less suspicious, when supergirl is gonna be heal were gonna started the final step in killing supergirl" Lillian said grinning, Henshaw nodded and exited the room.
