"Max! Where are you? Max! MAX!"

No matter how far he searched or how loud he raised his voice or how many times his loud cries echoed, Goofy couldn't find Max or a single trace of him. The less progress he and his team were making as they were searching for Max and the Phantom of Rock n Roll, the more stressed, worried and panicky he was getting. He was glad that Peg was managing the search party while he led them because he didn't think he could do it as well as her even if he was in his happiest of moods.

By the time they reached Tanchester Park, they had finished searching the whole south half of Tanchester and they still found no trace of Max or the Phantom or a single clue to where they could be. There were no more places to search and they searched every building, every alleyway, every garbage can, under every drain grid and even the landfill. Everyone decided that they had to admit defeat and call off the search. They started to rest.

Even though he had to agree that even he couldn't do any more himself, Goofy felt like a total failure. As he sat down on the nearest park bench, he started to remember all the people he lost. First, he lost his first girlfriend Kathryn, who he met in his next high school after he moved away from Spoonerville and continued to be in relationship with during and after college and who was Max's mom, to a car crash, then he lost his second girlfriend Sylvia Marpole because she had to go and look after her mother was very ill and now he lost the most important person in his life: his son Max.

Peg sat next to Goofy on the bench and hugged him as he started to cry. "I am so sorry for your loss, Goofy," she said. "Max was a great person and you've done a great job raising him all by yourself."

Goofy stopped crying and smiled a bit. "Gosh, thanks, Peg. And thanks for managin' the search party. Ya were wonderful."

"Oh, Goofy," Peg said. "It was my absolute pleasure."

"Mom!"

Goofy and Peg saw Pistol running towards them.

"What's up, darling?" Peg asked.

"The other group is here," Pistol replied.

They saw that she was right. The other group led by Clarabelle was in the park and approaching. Goofy ran to Clarabelle and grabbed her arms.

"Clarabelle, please tell me you've found Max," he cried. "Please! PLEASE!" He even started to shake her and a lot and quickly.

"Goofy, that's enough!" Peg snapped, helping him to be free from Clarabelle.

"I'm sorry, Goofy," Clarabelle said. "My team and I searched as hard as we could, but I'm afraid we found nothing."

"I'm so sorry for shakin' ya so roughly, Clarabelle," Goofy said. "And thank ya and your team for your time and best efforts." Then he walked away, thinking how he would never see his only child ever again in his life.

Then he heard live music. It was coming from the other side of the park. But he didn't care about that until he heard some singing. The one who was singing sounded a lot like Max. The more he ran to follow the noise, the clearer the singing became and the more it sounded like Max. But Goofy didn't want to get his hopes up in case it wasn't. He wanted to check this wasn't some sort of trap laid by the Phantom. Even with everyone else joining him to follow the live music, he wasn't letting his guard down.

Everyone reached the other end of the park where a large giant wooden stage stood, surrounded by large stage lights and vast outside sound systems. They were all delighted to see it was Max on the stage. He was playing his electric guitar while singing in front of a microphone stand. Behind him, Roxanne and Michaela were dancing like Powerline's backup dancers. The crowd didn't recognise the song he was performing. They thought it must be a new song, but they enjoyed it and even danced to it.

Clarry was the only one in the crowd who recognised that song because he wrote the lyrics to it. It was called Never Take Life for Granted. Not only was he delighted that someone was finally singing one of his songs, but it was performed by his very best friend Max.

After the song ended, everyone greeted Max with cheer and applause.

"Thank you all very much," Max said. "And thank you all very much for coming to find me. And thank you, Clarry, for writing the lyrics to that awesome song. A round of applause for Clarry, please."

Everyone gave Clarry a huge round of applause.

"And I'm very sorry for what the Phantom nearly did to you guys," Max went on. "And I'm just glad that you're all out safe and sound."

"All thanks to your dad, Max," Ludwig said.

"Yeah, I know," Max said. "Awesome job, Dad."

Everyone applauded Goofy for his heroics.

"Aww, shucks," he said bashfully. "It was really nothin'."

"Hey, Max," Bobby cried. "What about the Phantom herself?"

"Here is her mask."

Everyone saw one of the AI robots appearing on the stage and carrying a mask that looked like the one the Phantom of Rock n Roll wore. The other two arrived and tried to pull the other one back behind, but it was too late. They were spotted by the angry crowd, who angrily started to charge for them.

"STOP!" Max yelled in his microphone.

They all obeyed him.

"These robots are no longer under control of the Phantom," Max said. "They work for me now. In fact, they are my band members for when I perform live."

"What about the Phantom herself, Max?" PJ asked.

Max told a story that was partially true and partially false. He said that the Phantom took him to her place and chained him up and turned off her robots. Then she deserted them, leaving her mask. Then Roxanne and Michaela found him and the robots and rescued them. They didn't even see where the Phantom went at all.

"True story!" Screwy said.

"We are very sorry for what we've done for to you guys," Nutsy said.

"And we promise, as long we're with T-Rax," Botty said, "we will make it up to every one of you."

"And a round of applause, please, for the bravery of Roxanne and Michaela," Max said to the crowd. "I wouldn't be here if it weren't for them."

The crowd did so.

"To make up to you guys for what happened at the Tanchester Square Garden last night and to show my gratitude for you trying to find me, I'm going to give you a free concert right here, right now," Max said.

Everyone cheered.

"Before I do, I want you all to know something," Max went on. "My stage name is no longer T-Rax."

"What's your new stage name, then?" everyone asked.

Max never thought of ideas for new names. He just wanted to get away from the Phantom of Rock n Roll, not just physically but mentally as well. He felt he would never be free from her if he carried on using T-Rax. He quickly looked around as he tried to think of new names. He looked around and then he noticed the sun was rising and how it was making the park and the whole city of Tanchester brighten up.

"Sunrise," Max said. "That's my new stage name. Sunrise. I chose that name because every time I sing whether they are old or new, my only intention is to brighten up everyone's days. Let's start with another song written by Clarry."

Then he continued to play more songs, all that were written by Clarry, with his robot band playing the musical instruments and Roxanne and Michaela backup dancing behind him. His first concert as Sunrise was a success as everyone loved it.
