Subaru still being Subaru can't help but enjoy the food reason being his first meal ever since arriving into this world.
"This meal is way better than regular food! so which of the two made it?" Subaru asked
"well she may not look like it but rem is quite the exceptional cook."
"so Rem? She's the blue-haired one right? I can just call you Rem right?"
"You cooked this?" Subaru asked.
"That is right our dear guest Rem does the cooking n this Mansion. My sister is not very good at cooking." Rem replied.
"This is the part where the other twin is good at something the other is bad at right?"
"So that means the pink-haired one... Ram is good at cleaning and doing laundries right?"
"No, she is also not very good in those departments." Rem corrected Subaru.
"Why is your sister even here then?" Subaru Sarcastically said."
"My, my you really are a strange entity Natsuki Subaru,"
"You visit the Mansion of Margrave Mathers in the Kingdom of Lugunica yet you are totally unaware of its current situation. Roswall said,
"Is there something going on in this kingdom," Subaru asked.
"It's not really in a good situation after all the kingdom is running without its main head."
Subaru stops eating upon hearing the news.
"Oh do not worry for one of the representatives to the throne is currently beside you.'
"I'm a bit shocked though, mostly everyone knows of this situation this just makes me question your existence further." Roswall sarcastically said.
"Really?"
"For some reason, I feel like your gonna say something like (Now you know our secret we won't let you out alive) sort of thing."
"But I think I get the whole picture."
"Basically the kingdom is on the brink of chaos without a current king running things around."
"And on top of that, you made contact with Lady Emilia which connected you to my household," Roswall said.
"So that would mean Mela-tan is..."
"Yes that's right, I am a candidate as the next king to the throne and Roswall is acting as my sponsor."
"Wha-!?"
"Sorry to surprise you I didn't really mean to keep this a secret."
I put the insignia on the table explaining to Subaru what it's worth.
"That's why I can't thank you enough, Subaru."
"You have given me way too much I can't repay you enough."
Completely forgetting about the others in the room Emilia/Satella gave Subaru the warmest hug she could give.
"Mela-tan.. I know you really want to be king and I can't wait to see that happen but this hug makes me think I can finally die without regrets.''
"I'll bring you back though," Satella said in a really low whisper unheard by the others
Subaru caught what she said though. This just added another question to the pile that keeps getting bigger.
"Wha?"
"Nothing!?"

"My, my, losing an insignia might have meant losing your chance as a candidate to the thrown but that was highly uncharacteristic of you Lady-Emilia."
"It doesn't seem like you've only met yesterday."
"Do say what exactly is your relationship with Natsuki Subaru?"
"I'm sorry to interrupt Lord Roswall but I have been meaning to tell you something since your arrival earlier and Rem felt like this is the right time to say it."
Rem said while looking towards the half-elf who seemed to stare right back at her.
"Say it right away maid."
Rem nodded and explained her suspicions towards the strange happenings in the Mansion.
"Lady Emilia has been acting rather unusual lately and she has been covered in a thick miasma since arriving yesterday, Rem only suspects that our guest did something."
"This is indeed an unexpected turn of events I see," Roswall said.
"Now that you mention it I suppose she's been smelly lately in fact betty just didn't want to anger Bubby I suppose."
Emilia/Satella knows that this would happen sooner or later anyway but she was still surprised at how fast t happened.
She actually expected this at least until this afternoon thought on the bright side it's better to take care of it now rather than later.
"That's a bit rude don't you think? considering your so-called mother smells similar right?
with that statement, everyone was on their guard.
Subaru was just too confused with everything happening.
while Puck instantly floats beside the half-elf.
"Proof is what you wanted is it not?" the half-elf stated as she grabs her insignia to show it to everyone."
"Stand down" The Lord ordered both of the maids currently holding their summoned weapons.
"But Lord-Roswa-"
"Do not make me repeat myself I said stand down."
"Yes, Lord."
The half-elf grabs Subaru's hand as they headed towards her room.
"Come with me Subaru."
Subaru hardly knowing anything chooses to listen to her and followed.
Roswall was currently confused for the first time in hundreds of years trying to process everything that had transpired.
His gospel didn't mention anything about this.
"Oh, teacher give me your blessing."
When the three had arrived in the half-elf's bedroom total silence was met between the three individuals.
The half-elf was actually more nervous about explaining everything to Subaru than what just happened earlier.
"Wh-what happened back there.?" Subaru asked
"w-well.."
The two were trying to come out with their own questions and answers while Puck silently floats above them.
"They just.. I'm not exactly me anymore."
"What exactly does that mean?" Subaru asked.
"I'm still me but not whole me?"
"I can't really explain it as well but that's the reason for their suspicions."
"Can you enlighten me?" Puck asked finally talking.
"You said your no longer my Lia but still her what exactly does that mean?
"I'm still your Lia of course. kinda..."
"You know Lia if that's even you, your just giving us more questions than answers." The floating cat said.
"let's just say I became the witch."
