Welcome to Part 1 out of 3 of Carla's coma. That's right, there will be 3 chapters around Carla's coma. The chapters are probably going to be more short than the other ones but 3 chapters. So without delay, lets get the chapter started.(Original made by Professor Ass Spiders. Rio is owned by 20th Century fox/Fox Animation.)
Carla was flying with her family. They had been flying for a while in fact.
Carla didn't mind it though, she loved flying with her siblings.
The family decided to end their flight by resting on a branch.
"So, how was it?" Jewel asked with enthusiasm in her voice.
"It was great." Carla said along with Bia and Tiago.
"ok, we're going to head ba-" Blu began to say but A loud ear splitting screech interrupted him.
Carla didn't have time to register the sound when Her father pushed her away from him.
She saw her father get tackled by a harpy eagle. Carla managed to get out of her shock and tried to fly but before she could, a shadow overlapped.
Then she felt talons grasping her body. The talons then slowly moved towards her, her bones already breaking.
Carla was in agony. She could feel her bones breaking and exploding into Small fragments, piercing her organs.
She saw Tiago standing there, Fear keeping him still.
Carla tried to tell him to move, to get out of here but The pain forced her to keep screaming.
The talons stopped moving towards her, the shadow leaving her as well.
Carla saw The male move towards her brother.
She could hear his brother begging for mercy.
Carla wanted to say something but all that came out was a gurgle as her lungs were filling up with her own blood.
She watched helplessly as her brother was being torn apart by the harpy.
Carla saw a scarlet macaw attack the harpy, then a hyacinth macaw, then a toucan. She saw multiple birds attacking the harpy.
That was Carla could see before her eyes involuntarily closed.
Pain.
Carla could only feel pain.
It hurts even if she's standing still.
"She's wak...up"
Carla could barely hear people talking.
"We need to Seda…. Er."
Everything hurts.
"It's goi… be ok"
Everything was blurry.
"Are the others Sta…"
Carla heard someone say.
Her family is alive at least.
"What about Taig…"
"He's stable… They're luck... be alive"
That was all Carla could hear before her body drifted into sleep.
Carla opened her eyes.
There was no pain.
She looked at her body, seeing no wounds.
Carla flapped her wings, they weren't broken. That's good, But it was pitch black in here.
Carla looked around, She couldn't see anything.
Carla looked around for a light source. She found the light switch, bracing herself, she switched it on.
The lights came back on, Carla closed her eyes.
After her eyes finally adjusted to the light, Carla realized where she was.
It was the sanctuary but there was nothing here.
No Equipment, no Heart monitors, nothing but Tables and cabinets.
The sanctuary was abandoned.
She decided to walk around the sanctuary, hoping someone was at least in the area.
Carla called out for anybody here. She heard a crashing sound behind her.
Carla turned around and her breathing stopped.
Behind her was a monster.
She flew away from it, The monster roared as it ran towards her.
Carla kept flying trying to lose the monster but she couldn't.
The monster always seemed to catch up with her.
She decided to fly towards a table.
The monster followed her, Carla flew below it, the monster did the same but it tripped from a wire.
Carla catch her breath and walked away from the monster but the monster looked up and crawled towards her, It's wings turning into human-like hands.
Carla turned around in surprise and tried to run but it was too late.
The hands pinned her towards the ground.
The monster opened its beak, Showing Human-like teeth around the beak.
Carla was going to die.
She was going to die!
