We continued to sass each other as we finished and continued to eat, and drink.
After I finished the third alcoholic drink, I began to drink water instead.
I got up to use the bathroom, telling Bucky to not move because I knew he was going to pay, and I hated when he paid for everything, and he knew this and used it to his advantage.
Bucky beat me to the register, of course, while I was using the bathroom, paying the bill before I could protest.
"Damn you, Barnes!" I growled, stomping my foot as he tried to pull me out of the building.
"Button, it was fifty bucks, that's nothing. Now, come on, it's late and I am tired." He said as he dragged me out behind him.
On the way home, we stopped at a convenience store to get more alcohol before heading back to his place.
"You don't need to do this… I have beer at home, Bunny." He said as he followed me throughout the store.
"No, I want wine coolers and beer." I grumbled.
"Wine coo— Bunny, you hate wine coolers." He pointed out.
"No, Spencer hated wine coolers, but we aren't together anymore." I pointed out, grabbing three cases, two of beer and a few bags of salty chips. "So, I am going to drink some."
"You're just doing this because you want to spend more money than I did." He snipped as he pushed the cart through the store.
"Bucky, knock it off." I grumbled, as I tried to walk away only to run into the arranged soda stand, causing me to fly back and land into the cart with a gasp.
"Oh my god. Are you okay?" Bucky asked, as I laid there with my legs in the air.
"I'm pretty sure I just showed my underwear to the entire store." I gasped, wiggling my legs.
He bit his lip as he helped me out, and we went to pay.
I groaned dropping my head against the window, as Bucky kept chuckling as we drove to his penthouse.
"It wasn't that funny, you jackass!" I snapped as he pulled into the underground garage.
"It was a bit funny." He replied.
I groaned, as he patted my leg. "Oh god, I am never going out with you again…" I mumbled as I got out of the car with my bag.
"Oh, Button, of course, you will... much sooner than you think. I'm glad we did too." He said as he walked around the car and met me by the back.
He threw his arm around my shoulders leading me towards the elevator, before chuckling again.
"Jackass." I muttered, elbowing him before stepping into the elevator.
On the way up, Bucky told me that Sam and Steve had brought my things up and placed them into the room already, so I didn't have to worry about that.
"So, why do they live with you if they make just as much money as you do?" I asked, frowning.
"Hm? Oh, they don't. They're temporarily staying here because one, Sam's house is getting fumigated, and Steve's place had a busted pipe so he had to leave, while they are replacing all of the piping of the building." He shrugged.
"Right, and me moving in here won't complicate whatever dynamic you three have going on?" I asked, frowning.
"Bunny, don't even start with that shit again. This is my home, and what I say goes." He said, giving me the exasperated look he had been giving me all night.
I scoffed, but followed him into his massive penthouse as soon as the elevator doors opened.
I have been here plenty of times, but never stayed, until now.
"So, your room is the one upstairs, on the third door on the right." He said, gesturing with his hand before he turned to look at me.
"Awesome." I muttered, as I set my bag down, pulling off my jacket and hanging it, before I made my way into the living room.
I unzipped my boots, stepping out of them before dropping onto the massive couch and bringing my legs up, curling them under me.
My life sucked, and there was nothing I could do about it.
I sighed pulling down the black leather skirt that I was wearing as it slid up my leg.
"Are you okay, Bunny?" He asked me, as he sat next to me, dropping the throw blanket on my lap as he did.
"No. Not at all, James." I sighed. "I just wanted to be alone… and now I am here, bothering you three." I muttered.
"You're not, so stop fucking saying that… Come on, you need to relax… Hey, Steve, can you bring Ari a glass of the sangria Sam made earlier?" Bucky called, giving me an apologetic look as patting my leg.
"Uh. Yeah?" He called back.
I sighed, staring blankly at the ceiling as I ignored Bucky's attempts to get my attention.
"A penny for your thought?" Steve asked.
"You don't want to know, at least not right now." I muttered back as he handed me a glass of Sangria.
"So, what did this Spencer guy do to you?" He asked me.
I sighed, lifting my head up before turning to look at him. "I left six months ago to work abroad. To help set up the new location for the Stark Enterprise in London. When I got back this afternoon and walked in on him fucking his secretary on the couch that I bought eight months ago." I said, emotionlessly, before taking a sip of the Sangria.
"What? Really? Oh, that sucks…." Steve said, wincing as Sam gave Bucky and him a beer.
I smiled at him, as I felt the effects of the alcohol finally begin to slink into my body. Warmth spreading to all of my limbs.
Numbing the pain, and the chaotic emotions I felt.
"It does. Not to mention, he wants to keep the house, and most of the furniture, which I bought. But I don't care about that right now… because I have been wanting to leave him for months now…" I giggled, slapping my hand on my thigh.
"Hey, Bunny, I think that's enough Sangria for tonight, doll." Bucky said, making a move to grab the glass from my hands.
I giggled, snatching the cup from his grasp, before downing the rest of it. "I don't think so, Bucket. I want more… Sammy? Can I please have some more?" I asked him, licking my lips as I shot out of my seat.
"Sure there's some more in the refrigerator." Sam said, pointing towards the kitchen.
"Great. I'm getting more." I snickered, unsteadily walking towards the kitchen.
"No, you're not. Bunny… you've had enough…" Bucky said as he stood up too and tried to block my path.
I pushed him out of the way, but with him being stronger than me, he hardly budged. "Move, Buckethead."
"You know what? Fuck it! I'm taking you to bed!" he growled to me, when I smacked him harder.
Both guys averted their gazes, as Bucky threw me over his shoulder.
"Alright, Bunny. That's enough alcohol for tonight. Say goodnight to everyone…" he said in a normal voice as he turned to leave, feeling as his hand covered my ass.
"Goodnight, Sammy, goodnight, Stevie!!" I called, waving at them as they laughed at me.
"Goodnight, Arianna. Sleep well." They said simultaneously.
I felt myself shuffle from left to right as Bucky steadily climbed the stairs with me on his shoulder.
"Well, I'll be. How did I never notice you have such a nice ass, Buckaroo?" I asked, pinching it.
He gasped, tightening his grip on my thighs as he stepped onto the second floor. "Please don't do that again…" he slowly said, in a controlled tone.
"What? This?" I asked, lifting my head up, before smacking his ass hard.
"Stop it, Arianna." He warned.
"Or what, James?" I asked, moving to do it again.
Ignoring him as he continued to move through the hall, before kicking the door open.
I gasped as he suddenly pulled me off his shoulder, and pressed me against the wall.
"I told you to stop doing that, Bunny…" he warned, staring down at me, unblinkingly.
