Bucky's POV:
After taking her back to the bed, I helped her get comfortable.
"Hey, Buck?" She asked, quietly, as she laid there hugging the pillow.
"Yeah, doll?" I asked as I sat on the foot of the bed.
"Can you get me some water, please?" She asked me, quietly.
I sighed before I nodded, patting her dainty little feet, getting up and slipping my shoes on.
I headed out the door, and headed down stairs to the kitchen.
I groaned, rubbing my arms as I realized the temperature dropped.
I hated being cold, but not as much as I hated getting sick that was only two of things that came with this season, I was already annoyed and the season was only starting.
Silently moving down the hall, and tapping the correct button and sighing as the central heating came on before walking back down the hall towards the kitchen.
Rebecca rushed towards me, pulling me into a hug. "I'm so sorry about earlier, bro. How is she doing?" She asked, guiltily.
"She's a little annoyed with herself right now." I replied as I hugged her back, before I walked towards the refrigerator and grabbed a bottle.
"Sorry for waking you two up. I went in to check on Arie. Steve and Sam told me that you went up to your room, I didn't know you two were sleeping in the same room, bro. That was an interesting sight to see." She said, smirking.
I sighed, walking over to the counter, before setting down the bottle and looked over at her.
"You're the last person that needs to be commenting on anything, Little Miss Nosy." I said pointing a finger at her.
She snorted, "Oh, don't be so mad." She said carelessly. "It's my job to be nosy." She added.
"Is it also your job to be fucking around with my best friend?" I asked, raising a brow at her as I crossed my arms over my chest.
"What? How did you—?" She sputtered, turning to look at Steve sharply. "You fucking told him?!" She asked him.
I groaned, shaking my head at them, before I began to interject, only to be interrupted.
"No. Your brother figured it out. You two aren't as secretive as you think you are, you dumbasses." Arie spoke, as she walked into the room.
I sighed, shaking my head before turning to her and handing her the bottle.
"Oh god." She groaned. "What gave us away?" Becky asked, dropping her head into her hands.
"I overheard a conversation you and Arie were having earlier, then pretty much connected the dots. You two are idiots. You're adults, why the hell are you sneaking around like you're teenagers?" I asked, annoyed.
"Well, honestly?" Rebecca asked, hesitantly.
Arie sighed, shaking her head, before turning to look at me. "Bubs?" She asked, quietly.
I sat down on the stool before turning to look at her. "Yes, Bunny?"
"They didn't tell you because when you realize what was happening earlier… you almost killed Steve. They knew you were going to be angry and would want to kill them." She said, tapping my face a little too hard.
I flinched, before looking over at the two and frowning at them, nodding in response. "I was only angry because they kept it from me. What are you two fifteen?" I asked them.
"Oh my— this is just like the Vegas debacle all over again." Steve muttered, shaking his head at us.
I turned sharply to him, "That never happened." I said, turning in to look at him sharply.
"Right, and I suck on my thumb." He grumbled.
"Shut the hell up, Steven." I snapped again, giving him a fierce glare.
"Vegas?" Ari asked, frowning in confusion.
I shook my head at her, "You don't want to know, doll." I said, before turning to look Steve right in the eye.
"We already talked." I said before turning to look Rebecca in the eye, "Get your heads out of your asses and talk like adults, Nosy. I'll be in my room if any of you need me." I said before getting up and walking out of the room.
"Bucky? Bucky, wait!" Arie called.
"Not a chance in hell! I'll be in my room if you need me." I called back, rushing up the stairs.
Damn, I need a fucking drink.
