Two hours later, Bucky sat on the bed, watching me as I slowly began pulling out my clothes, and the large duffle bag, placing it all on the bed, still shirtless, with his jeans and zipper still undone.

"Are you sure you don't want to change out of that before you go?" Bucky asked me as I finished organizing my clothes and shoes, placing them into the duffle bag, frowning as I looked down at my attire.

"What the hell is wrong with what I'm wearing now?" I asked, frowned, as I looked down at my favorite pair of mom jeans, and his black oversized college sweater.

It was a sweater he let me borrow three years ago on the fourth of July after it got cold. It had his last name inscribed across the chest, with the school's crest, and the year he graduated and the school's name under it.

"Not a thing, babydoll. But won't you wearing looser clothing make everyone more, I don't know, suspicious?" He asked, as he pulled his shirt back on.

I smirked at him shrugging, before bending down and slipping on my black thick heeled combat boots and my knit beanie before grabbing my mustard yellow vest.

"It'll be fine. Clint is coming to get me later on tonight, he's unobservant most of the time, anyway. Nat won't notice until two days from now. And I'll see you on Friday morning when you pick me up. I'll text you and even send you pictures while I am over there..." I joked as he snorted and shook his head at me.

"I don't know about the pictures...Mmm. Though I gotta say, I do love seeing my name on you. It makes me feel things..." He groaned, walking over to me and leaning down to kiss my forehead, before wrapping his arms around me.

"Possessive much, Bubsy?" I snorted whispered, as he placed his hands on my waist, and I wrapped my arms around him too.

"For you, baby? Always." He teased, as I laughed, shaking my head at his cheesy smile, before reaching up to kiss him.

A few hours later I found myself sitting in the passenger's seat of my brother's black Chevrolet Tahoe.

My brother, Nat, and their kids all came along to pick me up.

Bucky insisted on going down with me, carrying my duffle bag.

"Why is he carrying all your shit for you? You being lazy again, babe?" Nat asked from the back seat with a smirk.

"No, he's just being a gentleman." I said with a shrug.

She snorted as Nate tapped on her arm, and Aubrey whined, pouting as she rubbed her eyes sleepily.

"Right, and I'm Mrs. Claus." She snorted and handed Aubrey her pacifier, and Nate his teddy bear.

"I didn't take you as the type to bake cookies and be jolly." I wisecracked , as Bucky tapped the window, causing me to turn and lower it.

"Hah! funny." She replied dryly, with an eyeroll.

"So, you're all set. Have fun, babydoll. I'll see you Friday morning." He said as he leaned in to kiss me again.

I smiled, kissing him back, multiple times before touching my forehead to his. "I'll be okay. We both will." I promised.

He nodded, kissing me again. "Stay safe. Call me if anything, love ya Bunny." He whispered back.

"I love you too, Bubsy. I will. I promise." I replied, pecking his lips, before smiling.

"Okay! That's enough. I thought you two being close friends was entertaining, but seeing you all lovey dovey like this, boy was I wrong! Barnes, let go of my little sister, she'll see you Friday morning when you pick her up. She'll call you when we get to my place, alright?" My brother interjected, in an uncomfortable tone.

"Quit being an ass, babe. It's adorable." Nat said, smacking his upper arm from the back seat.

"It's alright, Nattie." Bucky said, with a small smile as he stepped away. "Remember to call me later, okay? I miss you already." He said, before he tapped the roof of the car, and took a few steps back.

I could still see him waving at us as we drove away, he remained there until we turned the corner, before walking back into the building.

"So, I take it the make up sex was phenomenal..." Nat commented from the back seat as we got onto the highway.

Clint cringed for a moment before rolling his eyes at her. "Not a conversation you two should be having in front of me or the kids, babe." He quipped.

I rolled my eyes at them before smirking. "First of all, we've only done that twice. Second of all, my brother is right. Let's not have that conversation in front of him or innocent ears." I said laughing at her disappointed pout.

"At least answer my questions! Please!" She begged.

"One question. And it better not have to do with any part of his anatomy." I conceded.

"Aw. Spoil sport." She grumbled.

My brother rolled his eyes before sighing, "So, Barnes told me he got the Hayworth contract. Aren't you excited about that?" He asked, trying to change the subject.

I smiled, before nodding at him. "Definitely, I'm happy for him, he's been working hard for months to get that contract." I replied, sighing as I subconsciously rubbed my stomach.

"You still have a stomach ache, small fry?" He whispered, raising a brow at me.

I frowned, tilting my head to the side. Before I realized what he meant. "Oh, uh, yeah, my—my stomach is barely recovering from the whole food poisoning debacle. Bucky has taken care of me since the day I got back." I said, smiling in response.

"I'm glad you and Barnes finally pulled your heads out of your asses, and realized you two had feelings for each other." He commented.

"Wait, did everyone know we liked each other?" I asked, frowning as I turned to look at him.

Clint snorted, nodding his head in response. "That man has only ever had eyes for you since you two met. He was really upset when you and that dickhead started going out… It was worse after you two moved in together. He practically turned into a workaholic when we all thought you and Spencer were going to get hitched." He commented.

I felt my jaw drop as I turned to look at Nat, who gave a small nod in response, not looking me in the eye.

"Why didn't any of you say anything?" I asked, surprised.

"Because you two are more stubborn than a mule, and if any of us got involved in it, well, to put it lightly, it would have had explosive consequences." My brother replied plainly , with an eye roll.

"You are all assholes, you know that?" I groaned, shaking my head in disbelief.

"Sweetie, we were only doing what we thought best at the time." Nat said comfortingly. "Yelena said the same thing when she found out we were staying out of it." Nat snorted.

I shook my head as Clint pulled into a gasoline station. "Any of you want anything?" He asked as he got out.

"Get some juice and chips for the kids, oh and get me some caffeine." Nat said.

Clint nodded before looking at me as I shook my head. "I have to pee, I'll be back." I whispered as I hopped out.

I quickly made my way towards the bathroom, feeling as if my bladder was about to burst, as I quickly relieved myself.

Washing my hands before pulling out my phone and sending Bucky a message about the conversation I just had with my brother and Nat.

He confirmed what my brother had said being true, before adding that he thought he missed his chance that Fourth of July when he lent me his sweater. Which I never gave back.

I smiled before sending him my response, grinning as I walked back into the store to grab a bag of gummy worms, some Funyuns and a bottle of fruit punch.

My brother raised a brow at my choices of snacks before paying for it, his sports drink, a bag of Cheetos puffs and juice for the kids and a Starbucks coffee for Nat.

"Since when do you eat Funyuns?" He asked as we walked back towards the car.

I shrugged, as I opened the bag, and popped one into my mouth. "They sounded good right now." I replied nonchalantly.

"You used to gag when any of us would eat them. Saying the smell was atrocious. Bucky even stopped eating those after you told him they made him smell like ass." He commented, chuckling.

I shrugged again. "What can I say? I had a change of heart." I replied as I hopped back into the truck, smirking at Nat as she raised a brow at my snack.

For the rest of the drive, I pretended to be preoccupied, eating my snack, before pretending to fall asleep before I actually did.
