Graduation came fast. Class A had such a bond that continued to grow stronger with each year. Kirishima and Mina announced they were moving in together as they had gotten into Fourth Kind's Agency with Tetsutetsu. Katsuki and Ochako had announced their plans to move in together as well for the same reason. They were going to Hawks Agency along with Tokoyami. Deku was going to America to further his studies with the Shields family. Tsu and Shoji were both hired by Mount Lady and were still strong as ever. Jiro and Kaminari were going to separate agencies, with Jiro going to the Dragon Agency and Kaminari with Midnight Agency with Shinso. Iida and Momo were both going to Genius Agency with Best Jeanist and Endeavour was successful in getting Todoroki to work for him to everyone's shock and Katsuki's amusement.
They all promised to stay in touch through their group text, and they would try to see each other when possible. "Hey, get over here." Ochako giggled as she made her way over to where Katsuki stood in his suit. He wore a red tie to match her dress. The school had held a dance the night before graduation and she need only bat her eyelashes at her boyfriend to get him to agree to go. "Why would I want to see those extras when I could just be with you all night?" He had asked when she mentioned going. Stubborn as a mule.
Ochako stood in front of him with a smile on her face. "You look beautiful, Angelface." He dipped his head down to capture her lips. "My angel." Another kiss. "Can't believe we graduate tomorrow then move into our own place." Another sweet kiss to her lips. "Starting our lives together." He stroked her cheeks with his thumbs making her knees weak.
"I love you, Kats. Me and you against the world." He gave her one of his rare smiles and hugged her tighter to him. "My mom and dad want to take us to dinner tomorrow night. I know you said your parents had plans to take us out, but they've been saving up for this. Do you think your parents would mind terribly?"
He pulled away and got his phone out. He typed fast then put it back in his pocket. He put his arm around her and they headed to the gym. "Done. They can just take us to breakfast and then the train station Sunday morning. Just texted my dad. He's easier to deal with than the old hag. Oof!" Ochako elbowed him in his side.
"Stop calling her that. It's not nice." She admonished him. "And thank you. That means a lot. My parents don't get to do this kind of thing often. I know they will appreciate it." She snuggled into his side again.
"I'll try. And you're welcome. I'd do anything for you, Cheeks. You know that." They finally made it to the gym and could hear the music blasting from outside the doors. As soon as they entered, the room began applauding. Bakugo stopped and stared at everyone clapping. "What the fuck?" His girlfriend started to giggle as All Might went on the mic.
"And here he is. Young Bakugo! Top marks in the final exams and highest score on our final Hero course!" To say he was surprised would be an understatement.
He turned to Ochako and laughed, "You knew?" She nodded with a watery smile, "That's why you so adamant that we come!" He felt his face flush.
"Alright, Kacchan!" He heard the nerd yell.
"Hell yeah, Bakubro!" Sero shouted.
"Come on up here!" All Might said into the microphone as he smiled down at the Explosion hero. He made it to the small stage that was set up and shook his hero's hand thanking him. "Not only that, but the hero rankings come out tomorrow and you are already on the list as the number 34 hero! Now what do you think about that!"
"SPEECH! SPEECH!" He was speechless. The only thing he could think to do was look for his girlfriend in the crowd. Ochako had the brightest, most beautiful smile on her face and tears streaming down her face. She mouthed the words "I'm so proud of you!" to him and blew him a kiss. He approached the microphone and said the first words that came to him. "I love you Ochako Uraraka!" The room gave out a collective sigh. "Marry me!"
She watched him make his way to the stage. The tears began to flow from her eyes. Happy tears. Tears of joy for her boyfriend. This beautiful, temperamental man that she had developed this overwhelming love for. "So manly! Look at our boy, Uraraka!" Kirishima gave her a side hug then started cheering again. Mina smiled over at her. Katsuki climbed the stage still looking shocked.
When All Mught announced that Bakugo was already a ranking hero as of tomorrow morning, everyone went nuts. She locked eyes with her man and mouthed that she was so proud of him. The smile on his face melted her heart and she blew him a kiss. "Speech! Speech!" Someone yelled from the crowd. It sounded like Kaminari. She watched him step up to the microphone and announce his love for her, then two words she wasn't expecting to hear yet. "Marry me!"
"How romantic!" Mina cried out. Ochako was standing there, mouth agape when someone ushered her to the stage where her boyfriend was waiting for her answer. He held out his hand to her and she took it.
"What do you say, Angelface?" She smiled up at his eager eyes then took ahold of his tie to bring his face closer. All Might was standing off to the side with his hand to his heart.
"I say," she kissed his chin, "you've got yourself a wife." They kissed on stage in front of everyone. They heard nothing but each other's heartbeats. Bakugo lifted her off the ground hugging her tightly. The crowd dispersed as the DJ began playing music again.
"Congratulations you two." All Might said before leaving the stage. They held hands and made their own way off of the stage. They danced a few slow dances and talked to their friends for a bit before sneaking off to Katsuki's dorm room to "celebrate" alone.
"Fucking hell. I never thought that ceremony would ever end." Bakugo was dragging her though the crowd of parents and peers trying to feel me the Uraraka's. "So damn hungry. Move it extras!" Ochako couldn't help but giggle at her hangry fiancé. Fiancé. Still felt weird to say it. He'd actually proposed last night. On stage. In front of everyone! He came to a stop in front of her parents whom then proceeded to hug them both.
"I cannot believe that you actually graduated high school! You're not my little baby anymore!" Ochako's mother wailed as she hugged her daughter tightly.
"Mommy!" She giggled. "Thank you guys! Can we head out to dinner though. Mr. Grumpy here is STARVED!" Katsuki scoffed and grabbed her by her waist and pulled her to him.
"You wanna go, Cheeks?" He jokingly threatened.
"So, we have an announcement to make." Ochako took Katsuki's hand in hers. "Last night, Katsuki proposed and I accepted." Her parents smiled at them.
"That's wonderful dear!" Her mom squealed.
"A son! We'll have a son! Welcome to the family Katsuki. I had a feeling that this was coming. You'll be living together and working together. Just do me a favour and wait to give us grandchildren." Her father chuckled.
Bakugo's cheeks pinkened and he shrugged. "Sure, but if it happens, it happens. I would like to wait, but if we are so lucky then I won't look a gift horse in the mouth." He closed his eyes as he pictured Ochako with a swollen belly.
"Uh, yeah, that's definitely not happening until I'm at least ranking in the top twenty." Ochako said with a laugh. "So anyway, we'll be having breakfast with the Bakugo's tomorrow morning then our train leaves at noon. Once we get settled into our flat, I'll call you guys. Then we start at the agency Tuesday." She turned to face Katsuki, "Tokoyami said he got a flat at the same apartments as us! He was glad to know he would have some friends close by. Sad about him and Kinoko. I can't believe she cheated on him with Kuroiro! They were such good friends."
Katsuki shook his head, "Fucked up." He pulled her hand up to his mouth and kissed it, "He'll be okay. Maybe he'll meet someone in Kyushu." He smirked at her and she felt her heart melt. He could be really sweet sometimes. They chatted more with her parents and ate their dinner. The end of the night came fast, and the young couple thanked Ochako's parents and said their goodbyes then walked to their hotel room for the night.
"Yes! Right there! Oh gods!" Ochako coo'd as Katsuki rubbed her feet. "Never wearing heels for that long ever again." He smirked at his fiancé. "Promise me we'll marry on a beach, barefoot." He laughed loudly.
"Anything you'd like, Angelface. I promise." He finished rubbing her sore, tired feet then pulled her into his lap kissing her soundly on the mouth.
"Tomorrow we begin our new lives. Can you believe it?" Ochako pushed him onto his back and straddled his waist. "Mmm, we'll finally have our own space. Together." She ground against his hardening erection. "Alone." She bent down to kiss up his chest then squealed as he rolled her onto her back instead.
"Fuck. I love you." They made love onto the night. Tomorrow their lives would change forever.
"I knew it! I said it, didn't I Masaru?" Katsuki rolled his eyes at his mother's antics. They'd just announced their engagement at breakfast. His mother got up and started dancing a weird jig.
"You did, my love. Congratulations you two." Bakugo's dad chuckled then raised his mimosa in cheers.
"Thanks dad. Uh, we were thinking a beach wedding in late summer. Do you think?"
"Hitoshi's? I'll ask. I'm sure he will be honoured." His father responded.
Ochako smiled at him. A beach wedding on Okinawa? Sounds like a dream. Bakugo Katsuki was like a dream come true. And it all started with a sparring match because she was mad at the world. Now she was content, happy, and ready to take on the world with him by her side.
After breakfast, they were driven to the train station and said their goodbyes to the Bakugo's. "Ochako, dear. Be sure to let us know when you guys get settled. Gods know that little shit won't."
"Hey!" Ochako and Mitsuki giggled as Katsuki sulked.
"Oh stop! Come here!" Ochako jumped onto his back and kissed his cheek. "Don't be like that. Let's go." They waved goodbye before boarding the train.
"Just get the blankets and sheets for the bed and we can worry about the rest of that shit in the morning babe." Katsuki called out from the kitchen where he was cooking up some soba noodles for a quick dinner.
Ochako found the bag with their bedding in it and made up their queen sized bed. They had a beautiful view of the city and were within walking distance of their agency.
"Angel! Time to eat!" She heard him yell. There was a knock at the door so Ochako looked through the peephole and smiled. "Who the fuck is it?" He sounded annoyed.
"It's Tokoyami!" She pulled the door open, smiling brightly at her friend. "Hey! What are you doing here? We were just getting ready to eat dinner. Would you like to join us?"
"No, thank you. Just wanted to check in and say hello. I spoke with Hawks a few minutes ago. He wants to have a quick meeting Monday at noon before we all officially start. He's sending an email but I thought I'd give you guys a heads up." He seemed sadder than usual and Ochako wanted to ask him how he was feeling after the whole Kinoko situation. Instead she just thanked him and, begrudgingly, so did Katsuki.
After Tokoyami left, the two heroes cuddled together and watched a movie while they ate their noodles. "You're so cozy." She said with a yawn as she placed her bowl on the coffee table.
"Yeah, I'm your personal heated blanket, eh?" She snuggled up closer and hummed in approval. Before he knew it m, she had fallen asleep curled up against his side. He couldn't help but smile at her. As he carried her to their bedroom, he imagined their future. He laid behind her and pulled her close. Her strawberry vanilla scent paired with his cinnamon sugar. "Goodnight my angel."
"Good afternoon heroes!" Hawks booming voice was heard as they walked into the conference room. The number 2 hero was sat down in the front of a long conference table with three more heroes. "Jax, Hybrid, and Firefly? Meet our newest team members." He stood up and walked over to the three young heroes. This is God Dynamight, Uravity, and Tsukuyomi. Have a seat guys."
Jax was looking Ochako up and down with a leering expression that made Katsuki want to blow him into smithereens. "Watch yourself, Jax." Hawks chuckled, "She's taken. I checked." Hawks winked at Ochako causing her to blush.
"Tch." She heard Katsuki scoff in annoyance. "Very taken. Recently engaged so keep your eyes to yourself fuckers." He added gruffly.
"Now, now Dynamight. We're all good here. I won't allow any bad blood in this agency. We are all going to be one big happy family. Got it?" Hawks stared him down and received a curt nod in response. "Okay, so, I am assigning teams for your first 30 days. Each of you will be paired with one of my seasoned vets. Uravity," Ochako looked to Hawks with eager eyes, "You'll be with Firefly being as you are both Rescue Heroes. Firefly, you'll be patrolling the West End this month."
The woman named Firefly had bright orange skin and red hair. Her quirk creates glowing orbs around people or objects which allows her to manipulate them and move them freely. "It's great to meet you Uravity. Welcome aboard!" She shook the gravity hero's hand and then returned to her seat.
"Hybrid, you'll be with Tsukuyomi. Patrol the waterfront." Hybrid was a man that looked to be a cross between a lion, a shark, and an eagle. He had a beak, wings, a fin on his back, and long bushy blonde hair and fangs protruding slightly from his mouth. His quirk allows him to run, fly, or swim fast as well as giving him tons of strength.
And Jax, you'll be pals right? No fighting with God Dynamight? And Dynamight? Same goes for you. Uravity and God Dynamight here are engaged to be married. Normally we do not condone inter-office dating but I'll make the exception." Tokoyami looked confused and raised his hand.
"Tsukuyomi? You have a question?" Hawks asked, turning his attention on the dark hero.
"It's just, I don't see anything about inter-office dating in the handbook." Hawks laughed.
"No, you don't do you? It's not a rule per see, just a suggestion." He winked at him and smiled.
Jax got up from his chair. He had huge muscles and stood about 200 centimetres tall. He had brute strength and could punch and kick his way through almost anything. He was currently the number 26 hero. "No hard feelings, kid. You have a beautiful woman there. Congratulations on your engagement." Katsuki still wore a sneer on his face, but the tense stance he held finally relaxed.
"Thank you, Jax!" Ochako beeped as she took Katsuki's hand in hers. "We look forward to working with you all." Hawks patted her shoulder as he walked past.
"Thank you, Uravity. Now, as it stands, Jax, God Dynamight and myself are the highest ranking heroes. Firefly just broke into the top 50 and Hybrid just came back after a sabbatical so he dropped in the ranks to 62, but I'm sure you'll be back in the top 20 in no time." Hybrid growled low and puffed his chest out. "Sometimes we need a mental health break, bud. Don't worry about it." Hawks said sincerely to the man.
"Now, one more thing before we leave. Tomorrow is the official first day of our newest employees so, please, everyone be on time for bagels and pastries to celebrate. You're excused." Everyone stood to leave but before Ochako and Katsuki left they heard Hawks ask for them to stay behind real quick. They looked at each other then sat back down.
"Sorry. Just wanted to talk to you both without the others." Hawks sat on the edge of the table. "Uravity. God Dynamight." He smirked. "I need to know that you will be able to keep your private and professional lives separate. Any squabbles at home stay there. And you," he pointed at Bakugo, "you cannot lose your shit any time someone looks at your fiancé. She's is a beautiful woman. There are going to people that are bound to comment on that, check her out, or catcall. Trust her to handle the situation with grace." She squeezed his hand and he nodded in agreement. "Excellent. Have a great rest of your night and I will see you both bright and early tomorrow morning."
With that he left the room and they followed hand in hand. The walk back to their flat was nice. The birds were chirping, the sky was blue, and there was a light breeze. "Kats? You wanna grab something to eat? We can get a pizza and finish unpacking. Tokoyami says he's all set. Maybe we could ask him to come over too. He is awfully lonely." He agreed.
Later that night after Tokoyami left, they got into bed. "I want to apologise for losing my cool this afternoon. I trust you. You're so fucking beautiful. I just wish I could put a shirt on you that says, 'Dynamight's future wife' you know?" She giggled.
"Katsuki, women look at you all of the time. You're hot babe. But I know at the end of the day it's me you're coming home to. It's me you love." She kissed him and he deepened the kiss.
"How the fuck did I get so damn lucky?" He whispered as he made his way down her body.
"I ask myself the same damn thing." He heard her answer.
