Cool Party II

Chapter 3: The "Geek" Party

Andy, Kiara and their friends had just arrived to the former's house after school. Andy's mother had bought several bags worth of food and party supplies, while his father was now setting up the DJ area and his friends and their siblings were assisting in setting up for the party.

"We get to come to the party too...right?..."Megan asked as she and Kiki were setting up some tables outside.

"Sure...everyone is invited to this party..."Andy said, making his sister smile.

"Alright!..."Kiki cheered while Henry giggled from his playpen.

"Here's some decorations and tableware..."Adam said as he brought it while his little sister, Janet and Mindy came with him to help with the party.

"Thanks Adam..."Janet said and Mindy nodded.

"I got the balloons and managed to get some awesome music..."Keisha said, grinning.

"Awesome..."Andy said as the tomboyish girl did her part.

"We brought the punch and my ma's old fashioned lemonade..."Sammy said as she brought the lemonade and Freddy carried the punch.

"You guys can put them on the snack table, Sammy..."Andy directed as they all continued to set everything up for tonight.

Later

After about half an hour of more work, they were finally done. The entire house and backyard was all prepared for the party.

"This place sure looks great..."Helga commented while her husband thought about it.

"Almost..."Arnold said before he pulled out a remote.

Andy smirked as he knew what it was since he assisted his father in setting it up. With a press of the button, the entire backyard was decorated in bright lights, streamers and paper lanterns too, making it look beautiful.

The music was also playing and the food was already placed on the snack table.

"Now, it looks great..."Arnold said, smirking.

"Thanks Dad..."Andy said, happy since this place was ready for the party.

Just in time too as the guests were expected to arrive at any moment. He heard the doorbell ring and smirked.

"It's party time..."Andy said as his guests would began to arrive.

All of them.

Meanwhile

At Courtney's House

It was 6PM at the Wellington-Lloyd-Gammelthorpe estate and the party had just begun.

As Courtney said, she only invited those she deemed cooled enough and ordered a bunch of fancy food...however, one of the cool kids that she invited wasn't here...due to being moved to the geek list...(only because he refused to come but she didn't tell anyone.)

Still, she still felt sad that he wasn't here and that he yelled at her earlier.

The whole point of this party was to have him here and show him how cool she is and that he'd be better off with her than with that bookworm Kiara but with his absence, it felt pretty pointless but she wasn't going to cancel her party.

No, that would not do. This is HER party and she is not going to let anyone ruin it for her, even her guest of honor.

"Andy is wrong...once he hears how awesome this party is...he'll be sorry..."She thought as she decided not to let him ruin her evening.

She smiled and went to go spend time with her guests.

"It's party time..."She thought. "Welcome everyone, to my soiree..."Courtney said dramatically as she made an entrance to her party.

Everyone who she invited was here...minus Andy but she did not think about him.

No, now was the time for her cool party.

30 minutes later

Courtney was in her living room, entertaining her guests.

However, her first choice of entertainment was to talk about her family's latest vacation to Paris, France, so she and her mummy could get the latest fashion there.

"And then mummy said, "Of course, darling. Money is no object and you'll be needing new boots anyway" and she got me the most expensive pair in the store..."Courtney said as she showed off her new pair.

Her guests barely seemed to be paying attention to her story, and they honestly weren't interested in what she was saying but didn't want to be rude and just faked any interest.

Courtney then turned to Rex IV, the only guest here as rich as her and began talking to him.

"So Rex, have you recently been to Aspen? Mummy and Daddy are thinking of getting a second house there..."Courtney said.

"I see..."Rex IV said. "Why on Earth did I come here? Father's golf games are less boring than this..."The rich boy thought, annoyed.

However, they suddenly heard something happening outside.

It sounded like music...loud music.

"What is that noise?..."Courtney questioned, annoyed as she went to investigate.

She then heard the music louder and saw lots of people running up the street.

"Hey, what's going on here?..."Courtney demanded to one kid, whom she vaguely recognized as being from Mrs. Jones class.

"Party at Andy's house!..."The kid said before he continued to run.

"Party? Andy's house?!..."Courtney exclaimed as it dawned on her.

"He...he wouldn't..."She said, looking upset.

There is no way that Andy would throw a party on the same night as hers...and NOT invite her to it.

"He wouldn't dare!..."Courtney said, looking furious while some of her guests seemed more interested in what is happening outside and what they heard.

"So...Andrew is throwing a soiree of his own..."Rex IV thought, fascinated.

He didn't care much for the oblong headed kid, as he was rather rude to him the few times they had encountered but still...from the sound of it and from how those kids acted, it was less boring than this party.

Rex IV got up and went to his "gracious hostess".

"Uh...Courtney, thank you for a lovely evening but I am afraid I must leave...I promised Father that I would be home early to assist him with a personal matter and I must bid you adieu..."Rex IV said in a fancy way as he made his way out.

Courtney saw this and wasn't fooled.

She knew that Rex's dad is one of the investors her parents were seeing tonight...and she also knew that Rex ditched her.

"Oohhh...that's it. Rex is OFF the list!..."Courtney shouted as she grabbed the clipboard from Nate and made the change.

She didn't care how rich his family was, no one ditches her like that.

Unfortunately for her, this wasn't the only thing to happen to her. Bonnie and Maritza soon left, claiming that they needed to step out for some air...only to run fast to the direction of Andy's house and they didn't come back.

It kept happening as more of her guests were leaving and the rich girl couldn't stand this. In less than half an hour, her entire house was almost empty!

"I can't believe this is happening! AH!..."Courtney yelled. "Everyone's leaving but you, me and Steve!..."Courtney shouted to her god brother.

"Uh...I think Steve just left..."Nate said and Courtney turned around in time to see the last of her guest run away, looking smug as he did so.

Okay, that did it. Courtney was really mad now.

"AHHH! I can't believe this!..."Courtney shouted as she crossed Steven's name off her list and then threw a tantrum and even threw the clipboard to the ground in anger.

"My perfect party is ruined! How could Andy do this to me?! We're suppose to get married when we grow up for goodness sake! This is so not cool!..."Courtney shouted.

"Uh...I don't think Andy has agreed to the marriage thing..."Nate said, earning a glare for him friend.

Courtney turned around and crossed her arms.

"Not only did he reject my invitation but he threw his own party and ruined mine! He didn't even invite me to his party!..."Courtney shouted as she covered her face.

"You mean...kinda like how you didn't invite his friends..."Nate said, feeling guilty in going along with that.

Courtney glared at that.

"I already told you why I did that. I needed my party to be perfect!..."Courtney shouted.

"Well, if it's so "perfect", then why did everyone leave?!..."Nate snapped at her, making Courtney gasp at how he spoke to her.

"You know...you can try and blame Andy for throwing his own party...but yours wasn't as cool as you made it out to be!..."Nate pointed out.

"Nate?!..."Courtney exclaimed, not used to her god-brother talking back to her like this.

"No...not this time...I was quiet before but not now. I don't know why I listened to you but this so-called "cool party" was a disaster from the start, Courtney..."He said, shaking his head.

"You wanted a party with only the "cool kids" involved but Andy turned down your invitation, you didn't invite any of our real friends and the people you did invite just ditched you...and to be honest, I don't wanna be here either..."Nate said as he headed to the door.

"Bye, Courtney..."Nate said as he left to go join Andy's party too.

Courtney just stood there in her living room, alone and with no party guests. The dark haired girl soon found herself crying as she covered her face and ran to the couch.

"This night has been a complete disaster!..."Courtney said as she continued crying intensely.

Her crush rejected her invitation and then threw a party of his own on the same night, all of her party guests had left her and even her own best friend/god-brother abandoned her too.

The rich girl continued bawling, believing she was all alone right now.

"Courtney? Darling?!..."A mature voice was heard.

Courtney stopped sobbing long enough to see her mother, Rhonda-Wellington-Lloyd-Gammelthorpe was at the door, looking at her daughter with a concerned look on her face.

"Mummy..."Courtney said, wiping a tear from her eye.
