Hello! Here is the second chapter for this Tokyo Mew Mew fanfic! I do not own the rights to TMM and again sorry for descriptive in earlier part of the story!

Mid December in Tokyo, Japan, a week before Christmas to be exact. Tokyo is bustling with energy filled with twinkling lights of all colors, but two colors pique a visitor to Earth's interest, red and green. The alien's golden, like a sunset, eyes stare longingly into the red lights that dance around Tokyo Tower. His forest green hair, tied into pigtails in front of his large elf-like ears on the side of his face, blow in the frigid winds as he reaches out to touch the tower. A smirk grows across his face as he looks upon the tower centered in Tokyo.

"I'm back Ichigo," the alien whispered lovingly to himself. A smaller figure appeared beside him, a younger alien with carrot orange eyes and two pigtails higher up on his head, wearing a red hoodie and dark jeans he purchased before finding his companion.

"Kisshu, would you stop daydreaming and buy some damn human clothes!" The younger one hollered at Kisshu.

Kisshu turned around and glared at the younger alien, "Taruto, what in the hell are you wearing?" Kisshu looks Taruto up and down in almost disgust at what his younger companion is wearing. Taruto's face grew red in anger, holding a fist up in front of Kisshu as he flew over, "Pai is making us dress in normal clothes so that way we can at least look normal while touring the city. Maybe while we're out shopping you can see your old hag, who is also out shopping."

Kisshu's ears perked up, the mention of Ichigo always catches his attention. Kisshu tilted his head up, slightly looking down at Taruto, "And how would you know she's out shopping?"

Taruto grew a smug look and chuckled, "Heh, because while I was shopping I saw our favorite Mews out and about! They are at Shinjuku Ci-" Before Taruto could even finish speaking about the Mews location, Kisshu immediately teleported near where the Mews were grouped up outside the bookstore. Kisshu scanned the group until his eyes landed on her, his kitty cat, Ichigo. He smiled lovingly down at her, noticing how her ruby red hair was tied cutely by pink hair ribbons, and how she looked beautiful in her pink overcoat with a smile on her face. He frowned slightly from remembering the last time he saw her, when she was crying over his death, looking all beat up during the fight against Deep Blue. Kisshu chuckled to himself over the memory, he'd die for her all over again if he had the chance.

Kisshu floated down closer to the bookstore, watching the Mews enter hand-in-hand. He wanted to follow them but knew he looked out of place with his black and brown crop top with puffy sleeves and flowy black pants with the red sash tied around his waist. Kisshu started scanning, looking for a clothing store. Within a few seconds he found one and teleported into the men's section. Pai gave him strict instructions to pop in and out at the store, but leave money at the register so that the humans won't have to worry about theft. Who knew Pai would've gotten soft after over a year towards humans, maybe it's because he's been learning about human culture so he can discuss it with his green-haired Mew.

Kisshu scoffed at the idea of Pai dating, like that would ever happen. Kisshu saw an emerald green hoodie, a simple black t-shirt, ripped up dark blue jeans, and some black sneakers; nabbed them and teleported into the changing room. While changing he felt an odd presence, like another one of his kind was around, but it wasn't Pai or Taruto since they were already changed and have done their shopping. No it was foreign, even to him. Kisshu quickly changed and teleported over to the register, hiding under the counters and near a cash register that was closed, slamming the cash onto the counter. He teleported outside the store to find the foreign presence. Kisshu's head felt like it got punched as a blunt pain formed all around his head; the presence of this other being was strong, strong enough to set Kisshu's senses off. Kisshu started frantically looking for the source, the head pounding got worse as he flew towards the bookstore.

Ichigo! Kisshu rushed over to the windows and saw her on the first floor with the new Mew Ryou told them about. He teleported to a dark part of the book section Berry and Ichigo were at, hidden but close enough so that he can keep an eye on Ichigo. As he saw his love reach for a book the pain in his head became a sharp pain, no longer dull, as a figure appeared next to her, reaching for the same book. He stifled a scream as the pain was slightly unbearable, he had crouched down at this point; looking up he saw the presence that was causing him pain. A pale male with shoulder length jet black hair and piercing ocean blue cat-like eyes, similar to the alien's iris shape. Kisshu froze into place, for a second he thought it was Deep Blue, but that was not possible since Ichigo had slain him.

"It's fine, I am aware my features seem alien-like here in Japan," the deep voice startled Kisshu. He stared at the man, meeting eye contact with him for a fraction of a second. But that small amount of time was enough to set alarm bells off for Kisshu. This guy was another alien, but of a different species. Kisshu confirmed this when the man's back grew a scaly, grey lizard tail from thin air. A shape-shifter. Kisshu had heard stories about the shape-shifter alien race and none of them were good from his people. A war went on between the two races before Kisshu's won Earth, before they had to leave due to Earth's disastrous events, and scared off the shape-shifter race, never to be heard from again. The man's tail did not seem to be seen by Ichigo and Berry since they had not transformed, which relieved Kisshu slightly.

"The name's Kaiyo, and yes it does mean ocean, mom was inspired by my eyes she says," the shape-shifter tells Ichigo and Berry. Kisshu scoffed at the name, how original, he thought. Kaiyo's tail then proceeded to disappear; as he was placing the book down he looked over at Kisshu with a look that could throw knives over to his direction and pin him in place. The shape-shifter looks over at Ichigo and Berry, gives a nod and walks away. Kisshu's body relaxed, but only for a second once he heard Ichigo's cries. He teleported to the bookshelf right next to the girls so he could get in better listening range.

"I miss them, Berry. It's all my fault he died." Kisshu blinked in shock. Didn't anyone tell her that he's alive? Kisshu was only focused on the negative for a second because he recalled her first statement, she misses me? He smiled to himself, hoping he can hold his kitty close soon. To kiss her strawberry tasting lips once more.

As the two Mews got up to continue with their shopping, Kisshu quickly teleported outside the store to wait, making sure the Mews wouldn't be followed by the shape-shifter. As Kisshu floated cross-legged, a figure appears next to him, taller and older looking. The figure with short ash violet hair and indigo eyes clears his throat to make Kisshu look at him. Kisshu awakens from his daydreaming and shoots a glare at his fellow alien traveler.

"How can I help you, Pai?" Kisshu questions, lifting one brow up to form a puzzled look. Pai looks down at Kisshu with a stoic expression.

"You felt the presence too I suppose?" Kisshu blinked in surprise. How did Pai know? Kisshu un-crossed his legs and floated towards Pai.

"Yes, but how did you know?" Kisshu crossed his arms across his chest as Pai straightens himself and shoves his hands into his new grey trench coat.

"It's why we came back to Earth, the intelligence department of the military got a signal that there was a disturbance in Earth's atmosphere, meaning-"

Kisshu cuts him off with anger dripping from his tongue, "Meaning an alien ship or lifeform broke through and entered Earth without communication." Pai nodded to Kisshu confirming Pai's upcoming statement. While discussing the aliens heard the Mews leave the bookstore and were now located outside.

Kisshu glanced down at his Ichigo and frowned, worrying about her safety and her happiness. While looking down on his beloved, Kisshu glances over to see Pai staring down with a solemn look in his eyes.

"We will protect them Pai," Kisshu places a hand on Pai's shoulder for reassurance, "so worry not dear friend, because they have us." Pai peers over at Kisshu, seeing his green-haired friend smile with reassurance and comfort.

"You're right, however, the shape-shifters can hurt them in not just physical ways but emotionally and mentally." Pai's brows furrowed and Kisshu's hands clenched around Pai's shoulder.

"Like their fears?" Kisshu glared down at the crowd of people around the Mews as they started walking towards the train station to take them to their cafe.

Pai stared at Kisshu with bewilderment, "You saw him? What did he look like?" Kisshu shifted his eyes to look into Pai's. Kissh's golden eyes started to glow a bright white light with rage, "Like Deep Blue, subtly of course. Enough to shake up Ichigo and cause her to cry."

Kisshu started to shake a bit with rage, Pai grabbed his friend's hand that was starting to hurt his shoulder and placed it beside Kisshu's side, "Lets go to their headquarters, Taruto is already there waiting. We can explain to Ryou what's going on."

Kisshu nodded and tried to calm his anger down as he focused his attention on teleporting to Cafe Mew Mew.

--

After a few seconds, Pai and Kisshu warped into the Mews headquarters underneath the Cafe. Taruto was already there eating some yellow lemon cake, topped with vanilla oreos. Keiichiro and Ryou were at the computer typing furiously away, trying to locate the alien presence that Taruto summarized to them.

"Couldn't wait to see the yellow Mew so you had to eat a cake that reminded you of her?" Kisshu smirked, teasing Taruto about his small crush over the Monkey Mew. Taruto gritted his teeth and formed a fist, ready to punch Kisshu, "How about ya shut up before I talk shit about your old hag!"

Kisshu put a hand against his heart, feigning hurt, "Taru-Taru! My feelings!" Hearing his nickname from someone other than Purin caused Taruto to teleport right in front of Kisshu's face.

Taruto, inches from Kisshu's face, shrieked, "Do NOT call me that!" Kisshu bellowed, "Right, right, only Purin can, I forgot." Kisshu ruffled Taruto's hair and walked over to where Pai relocated, next to Ryou and Keiichiro.

"So you're expecting another war? But they seem to want to target the girls instead, why?" Ryou started grilling Pai and Kisshu.

Pai crossed his arms across his chest and straightened himself into a military stance, "We believe it's because our enemies heard about the Mews and Earth being possibly up for grabs since we no longer inhabit this planet. Instead of fighting our military on ours, I assume they would want to pick on the girls who they would deem to be weaker."

Kisshu scoffs, "Ichigo is NOT weak, if anything she could beat them all if she really tried!" Ryou shook his head at this comment, but smiled. It was nice hearing from the aliens they believed his Project Mew Mew was strong and could handle their own.

"They may be strong but do not forget Kisshu, they are JUST teenage girls at the end of the day. They could be overcome with stress and emotions a lot more easily, especially Ichigo." Ryou locked eyes with Kisshu, a knowing look passed between them.

Kisshu couldn't deny it, Ichigo was known to be strong, but just as she is strong she also breaks down the worst since she never wants to appear weak. Kisshu admired that about her, but also wished he could help her relieve her emotional burdens.

Footsteps are heard above them, coming at fast speed towards the door. "Hide until you hear me mention that we have backup, then you can introduce yourselves however you like." Ryou stated as he leaned against the computer with Keiichiro. The aliens nodded and hid in a dark corner in the back of the basement. The Mews and Tasuku barged into the basement, seemingly fired up to talk business with Ryou. Kisshu noted how beautiful Ichigo has gotten within the past year, especially up close. She must be 14 now, a year younger than him still, but she is looking a little more grown in her facial features.

Ryou and Ichigo stare at each other for a moment, the other knowing that the other has discovered a problem has arisen. The atmosphere in the room is thick until Ryou breaks the silence, "You're right Ichigo, a battle is about to start again." Ryou straightened himself off the computer, "But do not worry, we have back up this time."

Kisshu grinned, he almost couldn't bear keeping his excitement about holding Ichigo in his arms again. As Kisshu begins to teleport behind Ichigo he hears her question Ryou, "What do you mean back up?" Just as she finished asking her question, Kisshu quickly wraps his arms around Ichigo's waist and pulling her closer into him. The strawberry scent from her hair fills in his head, overwhelming Kisshu, reminding him of the times he kissed and held her over a year ago.

Kisshu smirks, going to his cocky, but flirty voice that she should know so well, "I'm back my little kitty cat, did ya miss me?"
