He felt happy since it worked out. In his otherwise boring life, the light got in. Despite he lost a job, he was now glad to find a better job, something better than being an accountant.

They were first time to be together in the apartment when he realized that he had to conceal his secrets. When the actions resulted badly and he was injured, he often returned home in a heavy state on the verge of fainting and bleeding. Now that he got closer to her, it was clear to him that not any drop of blood should fall.

The young man walked like crazy in his apartment as he was trying to hide everything related to his second life. From uniform and mask to weapons and explosives.

His family had tradition in resisting to British and he continued with it here in America. His parents met in Europe during World War I and he was born there before they moved into the New World for fullfilling their American Dream from the destroyed Old Continent when he was a few months old. His father was Polish, mother Irish.

His grandfather (from the mother's side) supported Irish independence, but he died before Ireland sucessfully got its independence. His mother was from a family of Irish rebels. When she moved with his father back to Ireland, they both had been through together the Irish War for Independence and the Irish Civil War on the side of the IRA.

George Litwak himself was born in 1930 in Dublin, 7 years later after the last conflict. His parents were both tired from the conflicts after all the wars they had been through and hopeless political situation between Ireland and British Monarchy in the 30's forced them to leave Ireland, and the situation in the rest of Europe make them decide to start a new life in America.

His father was a Polish tailor and during the First World War, he was making uniforms for the German Imperial Army since he lived in part of Poland, which previously belonged to Germany. Before the compulsory service, it saved him that he was 17 and the young man used that in an effort to explore the war destroyed Europe on his own. He met his mother accidentally happened during the fighting in the Carpathians when a young woman tried to find her father who was called to the war by the British army.

George on the other hand missed Europe. He was only an infant when his parents immigrated and he never had the chance to get know the beauty of Europe. Mainly Ireland and Poland from which his parents came from. He found universal recurring architecture of American buildings boring. He longed to visit the European capital cities. From Lisbon, Barcelona, Paris and Berlin, to Copenhagen, Oslo, Warsaw, Prague, Vienna and Athens. He wanted to visit monuments like castles and see the beauty of European architecture, wanted to find out more about his family.

His aging widowed mother lived alone in a family house outside the city part of New York. She knew very well about her son's activity in the US offshoot of Irish Republican Army formed by the Irish immigrants and she didn't approve it. It looked she lost her militancy after George's father, Olek, died in the World War II and she was convicing George to stop.

"The world is no longer what it used to be George, being an Irish Republican now is dangerous."

"By detonating the cars of our enemies here in America don't help to unite Ireland."

"However, you know what I told you, it is no longer what it was, now it's dangerous. Live a normal life and be glad you didn't have to fight in a war."

He often heard things of this type from his mother, but he didn't listen. The effort to unite Ireland was more important than his own life to him. Now wonder why when he was a young nationalist.

The young man put his stuff in the wooden chest which he once brought with him when he moved here and hid the locked chest.

He had a key and wondered how to lay out his second life in combination with a love relationship what he had now as he looked at the key in his hand.

Meg must not find this out.

George heard knocking on the door, and he hid the key on a safe place in the flat, tried to fastly civilize up and he opened the door.

"Meg?" He asked as he opened the door "I wouldn't expect you to come out this soon."

"I came here sooner so I could be here longer with you. Would you like to go somewhere?"

"For me it would be enough to be here, but if you want me to go somewhere, I'll go." George said blushing a bit.

She walked in and began to talk about how she did.

"I think it is possible that you can work with me."

"How?" He asked as he closed the door.

"Where I joined when you met me they still have a couple of positions for hire."

"Really?"

"Yes. I also think you could enjoy it more. Have you enjoyed at all to be an accountant?"

"Not much no, rather it was boredom and waste of time."

She sat on the bed and George sat next to her as she continued explaining.

"I solved it with my superiors, you could work directly in the traffic. It is way more fun and better paid so."

"About what job is it?"

"Manager in factory, graduation at it is enough."

George swallowed as he tried to imagine himself as a manager. He remembered the tailor shop which his father owned before he was killed. Yes, he wanted to make a hole in the world, but he was not a leading type.

"When there are more options, would mind if I would work as a technician?" He then continued "I'm sorry Meg, but I'm not the type to lead people."

She put her hand on his shoulder.

"George, it is okay, I'm happy that somehow you will be with me."

He started helding her hand as she said that. God, how much he wanted to kiss her and make love with her.

"It's long since the last time someone respected me like that."

"You too deserved that."

He smiled looking at her after she said that.

"What if we went to the Central Park?" He said standing back up "Normally there is peace and it is not a noisy hurried city like here. I like to go there and think."

He looked at each other for a moment, but then he finally picked up the courage to kiss her. He grabbed her hand, closed his eyes and their lips touched during a slow kiss.

He then looked at her and asked:

"Do you mind-"

This time she kissed him and he dedicated to it, closing his eyes. When a kiss ended she looked at him giggling a bit.

"I didn't expect that." He said with smile as they both left the flat.

The young man took a piece of paper. He wanted to make a paper airplane again.
