BANG. BANG. BANG. BANG.

Four bullets flew out of the guns. Four bullets went flying. Two bullets hit and killed Lewis. One bullet lodged itself in Olivia's stomach and the last bullet went somewhere, but no one knew where it went.

A cry of anguish escaped Olivia's lips, blood streaming down her already bloody gray shirt, more blood streaming down the side of her mouth.

"Liv." Aniyah yelled as she fell down with Lewis' body.

Aniyah quickly got up and ran over to Olivia while Fin, Kat, and some other officers went to find Amanda. Aniyah took off her jacket and bundled it up, pushing it against the wound. She heard Olivia's breathing lesson.

Olivia's injuries are much worse than they presented. Aniyah could see by the slight unevenness of Olivia's pupils that something was very wrong.

Down the hallway

When they finally found the room where Amanda was, FIn kicked down the door.

When they walked into the room, they saw Amanda tied to a bed. She wasn't badly injured as Olivia, but she still looked like they drugged her. Fin walked over to Amanda while Kat wanted to get something to cut Amanda loose.

"Amanda. Manda. Can you hear me?" Fin asked as Amanda slowly opened her eyes.

"FIn?" Amanda said

"Yeah, Manda it me." Fin said as Kat finally cut her loose.

"Where is Liv? Is she okay?" Amanda said

"She is just down the hall With Aniyah and one of her friends. She was shot and beaten." Fin said

"Where is Lewis?" Amanda asked

"He died. Now come, let's get you okay here." Fin said as he helped her up.

The buses were 5 minutes out, so Aniyah had to keep Olivia stable until then.

Five minutes later, four paramedics arrived.

Two paramedics started looking at Amanda while the other two listened to Olivia's chest and looked at paramedics. They needed to intubate before her airway collapsed. One paramedic grabbed the intubation kit, and the other paramedic put the gauze on Olivia's wound.

They secured a C-Collar around Olivia's neck and started more IV lines.

The paramedic slid the backboard beneath her.

"Let's transfer to the stretcher on 3. 1,2...3." The paramedic said they lifted Olivia onto the stretcher and secured the straps to keep her on. They wheeled Olivia out to the bus and they hooked her up to the cardiac leads and BP cuff. A few seconds later, a loud beeping sound erupted from the machine.

"SHE'S CODING." The paramedic yelled

The paramedic put the defibrillator pads on the chest.

"Charging...CLEAR." The paramedic shouted.

They shocked Olivia, but nothing.

"Push an Epi (epinephrine)." The paramedic in charge told the other paramedic to do it.

The paramedic pushed an Epi and resumed chest compressions before getting ready to shock Olivia again.

"Charging...CLEAR." The paramedic yelled.

BEEP...BEEP...BEEP.

"We got her back." The paramedic yelled as the paramedic in charge moved to the front, and they were off the hospital.

They also loaded Amanda up into the other bus and Aniyah rode with her while Kat, Fin, and Deshawn were going to meet them at the hospital.

The hospital

When Olivia arrived, they rushed her into the trauma room and so was Amanda.

Fin, Vic, Carisi, Kat, and Aniyah were all in the trauma room waiting room.

They transfer Olivia onto the trauma bed, hooking her up to surrounding machines immediately.

Dr. Miller grabbed a pupil torch and gently pulled Hayden's eye open.

"Push some morphine." Dr. Miller said.

"We need to get her to surgery. She's got clear internal bleeding. The bullets seemed to have nicked her kidney and stomach page OR to get prepped." Dr. Brown said

"Get a transfusion of AB Positive ready. We'll need four units at least." Dr. Brown said

They wheeled Olivia to the OR.

A few hours later,

Fin, Kat, Carisi, Vic, and Nyah were all waiting in the waiting room when Amanda's doctor walked into the waiting room.

"Family of Amanda Rollins." The doctor asked

"That would be us." Fin said

"Are yall related to Amanda Rollins?" The doctor asked

"We are." Vic said

"How are you related to her?" The doctor asked

"We are her daughters." Nyah said

"Okay then, I need to talk to only you two. Please follow me." The doctor said as they walked into a room.

"I'm DR. Dee and I have been working on your mother." Dr. Dee said.

"Is she okay?" Vic asked

"Amanda is in stable condition right now. She has a few broken bones and a few bruises on her body. And a severe concussion." Dr. Dee said

"So she will be okay?" Nyah asked

"Physically, she is okay, but the psychological side could be quite bad. But time is all that she needs." Dr. Dee said

"Can we see her?" Nyah asked

"Yeah, but she is unconscious right now. We moved her to the ICU, so she is in room 285." Dr. Dee said.

"Thank you." Nyah said.

"Come find me if you have any more questions," Dr. Dee said as he walked.

30 minutes later

After the twins visit Amanda, they went back to the waiting room to update Kat, Carisi, and Kat. They were just about to walk to Amanda's room when Olivia's doctor, Dr. Miller, and Dr. Brown came waiting into the waiting room, covered in blood, still in surgical scrubs.

"How is she? What's going on?" Fin asked.

"There were some complications from surgery." Dr. Miller said

"She lost a lot of blood, which caused some of her organs to completely shut down. She slipped into a coma. We lost her once on the table, and her body is extremely weak. We cannot say that she will wake up from this. I'm afraid these 72 hours are critical. We don't think there will be any lasting damage, however, the psychological side could be quite bad." Dr. Miller said

She'll be in the ICU." Dr. Brown said

"As you know, it's usually only immediate family allowed in the ICU, and for the critical patients, it's usually just one person at a time. So only her granddaughters are allowed." Dr. Miller said

"If you two would like to see her, she is just in the room across from her daughter." Dr. Brown said

"Okay, thank you." Vic said as she whipped away tears.
