Danny's pov:

Another day in a lifetime of misery. I was up late last night catching ghosts that escaped the Ghost Zone. I ended up getting detention because of Dash and he was off the hook for punching me in the hallway. I hate it here at Casper High, nothing but jerk A-Listers and horrible teachers that never listen to a word I say. I'm by myself today since Sam is on vacation with her parents and Tuckers home sick as a dog.

Jazz is normally the one to check up on me but not even her therapy ideas would work. And to make things worse, my parents are giving me a long list of chores to get done as punishment for failing classes. Sometimes I wish I could escape this horrible place and all the jerks that ruin my life. Just as I was walking out of school, I bumped into a girl with orange hair and knocked her to the ground.

Oh great, she's gonna kill me. She looked like she could be related to one of the A-Listers. I apologize many, many times and waited for this girl to hurt me. But instead, she helped me up and grabbed my things for me. "It's no big. I wasn't looking where I was going. That's on me." She said with a warm smile.

"Um, thanks. And again sorry, um."

"Kim. My name is Kim. And you don't have to keep apologizing, it was an accident." Kim stated.

I was about to tell her my name when Dash sped over to Kim while pushing me to the ground. He was trying to flirt with her but Kim didn't seem interested. Instead, she punched him in the face, giving him a black eye. "I don't go out with jocks especially the ones that are nothing but jerks and playboys," Kim spoke in a dark tone.

She scared Dash away, who was this girl? She helped me back up from the ground again and this time she asked if she could walk with me. I didn't want Kim to know about my crazy parents and their ghost obsession. They might scare her off. But I couldn't say no to her, besides if the A-Listers came around, she'd stop them.

I led Kim to my house hoping that my parents weren't even home. We arrived at my house Fenton Works, it wasn't hard to miss with the giant sign above the doors. But as soon as I opened the doors, all hell broke loose. I saw my mom trying to tackle a woman that looked almost like her. Dad was just holding my mom back from hurting the woman. I tried to apologize to Kim about my family but she just walked up to my mom with anger in her eyes.

"You dare come into my house and try to take my son away from me?!" my mom screech that the woman.

I looked confused, was this woman a social worker and Kim is working will her? I asked my parents what was going on but mom just yelled at me to go to my room until the woman leaves. But the woman placed a gentle hand on my shoulder and told me to stay. "Your son deserves to know the truth or should I tell him, dear sister?" The woman stated.

Sister? This woman is my aunt? And that meant Kim was my cousin? Now I'm really confused about what was going on. The woman said that her name is Ann Possible and that she is my mother's older sister. She wanted to take me with her back to Middleton where she and her family lived. "But I don't understand. Why me? Jazz would be perfect for you..."

"We just want you, Danny." Kim stated, "We know about the abuse from here and at your school. You deserve a better life than this."

I felt a warm and fuzzy feeling inside of me that I haven't felt in a long time, love. I've been hoping and wishing for a better family for so long and now it's finally happening. I immediately asked when do we leave and my parents turned pale as ghosts. Kim even offered to help pack my things so I took her to my room.

I've always wanted to be an astronaut so I decorated my room with posters of galaxies and planets. I even have a few model rockets from when I was little, well littler. Kim told me that her dad is a rocket scientist at the Middleton Space Center. I can't believe it, I'm related to a rocket scientist! I grabbed all my clothes and stuffed them into a suitcase along with a few posters and the Fenton Ghost Thermostat just in case.

Kim spotted the thermostat in my hand "Is that a thermostat modified as a weapon?" she questioned.

"What?! No. It's just a normal..."

"Danny, I know about the lab accident and that your half-ghost."

My mouth dropped open, how did she know? Was she psychic? "How-how did y-y-you..?" I stuttered.

"My friend Wade hacked into the cameras in your parents' lab and school. I'm not gonna hurt you, if anything I think it's great that you're a hero." Kim explained.

I guess having a cousin who is a world-saving teen hero is a good thing. I grabbed my bags as Kim and I headed downstairs. I saw that a blonde hair boy was waiting with my aunt. Kim told me that's her best friend and partner Ron Stoppable. The four of us were out the door and we ended up getting a ride in a helicopter to Middleton. Best day ever!

Kim's pov:

Now that Danny is coming to stay with us for a while, I figured that once we get home I could train him a little. He has all these ghost powers but he had no fighting experience or how to control them. I didn't see Vlad with us either but my mom told me that he would be in Amity Park a little longer for some business. She didn't even tell me what Vlad was planning to do. Ron was still sulking over the fact that there was no Bueno Nachos anywhere in Amity Park.

"Nothing edible to eat?" I joked.

"The only place they had was a Nasty Burger joint that lives up to its name. The food looked like it would crawl away, KP. Crawl!" Ron freaked out.

Rufus jumped out of Ron's pocket which startled Danny a little. Ron introduced Rufus to Danny and he seemed to calm down. "I thought it was a hairless gerbil," Danny said.

"He's a naked mole-rat and my best buddy," Ron stated.

Ron then pulled out his last bag of Bueno Nachos from his pocket. I don't even want to know how he fit that in there. He split his last Naco with Danny, he didn't even eat lunch. The helicopter landed right in front of my house "Thanks for the lift Report Ace." I said to the pilot.

"It's the least I can do Miss Possible after you gave me the report that saved my job." He said.

"A high-speed car chase involving a smuggling operation, not the drama," I stated and headed inside.

Dad and my brothers were introduced to Danny and I think they hit it off well. Jim and Tim wanted to see if they could learn more about Danny's ghost form. My dad even offered to give Danny a tour of the Space Center. The look on Danny's face was priceless, like a kid in a candy store.

Later at the dinner table, my parents announced that Danny will be transferred to Middleton High. His classes start tomorrow and I even offered to show him around. Ron looked more excited because he wore his Mad Dog mascot to show Danny what our schools' team is. I tried to tell Ron not to do the foam but he did it and Danny ended up being covered in foam. "It's not real. It's banana cream, taste it." Ron said.

This was gonna be a long week.
