Chapter 4: Cherishing Reunion

After such a crazy night that took place at Hokaido Park Central Juinchi opened his eyes and woke up with a pain staking headache. He shook it off and place his hand on his head trying to sooth the pain until he glances at the ceiling rationalizing his thoughts on the situation of being the guardian for Hakune. There are so many questions he has for her. And he can't take his mind off it until he has some answers to this new responsibility which is now a part of his life. Though quite anxious the drowsy orange head got up out of his bed and went on with his normal life as usual, somewhat. He entered to the kitchen prepping breakfast taking out a big chunk of ham out from the refrigerator after defrosting. He took it and sliced the large chunk into thin slices using a sharp kitchen knife. Portion it enough for 2 knowing that he got a new roommate in his home, so he prepared it for him and Hakune. After the breakfast plate is done, Juinchi notices Hakune wearing a long sleeve shirt that is obviously too big for her. Hakune rubbed her eyes in a drowsy expression and took a glance at a flustered Juinchi.

Juinchi gulped and eyes widen at the state Hakune is in, she is basically close to being bare, only to be wearing what looks like Juinchi's work shirt heavily wrinkled. Hakune's bed hair is visible as part of it stuck out like a sore thumb, also her doe shape eyes are definitely still in a drowsy state. He tried hard to not make this awkward by starting a conversation without taking a glance directly at her. "Morning Hakune...h-hey ummm why are you wearing my shirt? I did place some clothes for you on the bed side." The blushing young man does his best to face the opposite way to where Hakune's standing.

"Yeah...but I really don't like them, it's too stylish...so I have no choice but to wear one of your clothes since their slightly better..."Though..." She motions herself to check up on her own physique and the shirt. "This is way too big for me."

Juinchi visibly facepalm and gave a silent groan. "Well duh...you're much smaller than me so of course it wouldn't fit." Juinchi sighed and left an insouciant smile to Hakune's blissful oblivious nature when she tilts her head after seeing him acting so weirdly.

"How about I buy you some clothes, ones that you like Fujiko San. I don't have work so it'll be something we can do for today." Juinchi twirls the fork out of boredom while watching the television to kill time while enjoying his breakfast.

"Huh? Oh, sure thanks Tatagashi San, that would help a lot..." After that, she sniffed the fresh food Juinchi made thus triggering her stomach to growl immensely along with her cheeks flashing red. She spent too much time trying to search for the clothes that best suits her before she settled on Juinchi's work shirt. "Oh, your cooking never ceased to amaze me Tatagashi Kun I can't wait to eat it!" She proceeds to take a seat on one of the stools right by the kitchen island counter top.

"Yeah...it's just a breakfast platter spread with eggs, sausages, bacon and a nicely cooked ham. Oh, and Hakune have you brushed your teeth before you decide to eat?" The orange haired young man asked nonchalantly while yawning.

To that question Hakune puffs her cheeks in an angry pout and glared at Juinchi for asking such a silly question. She groans and places her palm on one of her cheeks with an annoyed facial demeanor. Though she realizes that Hakune is in his home after all. Having to display such an unnecessary behavior Hakune refrain herself from acting out. Yet she does point out the truth to know that even though she is the guest, Juinchi has no right to tell her what to do.

"You're not my dad Tatagashi San. So, you don't really need to tell me what to do...but yes I did..." She pulls herself away from his sight closing her eyes in utter irritation, but she looked down on the food as her stomach is persistently growling urging her to eat. She sighed and gave a quick glance towards Juinchi, she knows that it's necessary to do the ittekimasu prayers before she can gorge on some of the nicely cooked and warm food.

For about a few minutes the two finish up, after having their fill Hakune and Juinchi took a good 15-minute break before they decide to make other plans for tomorrow. Juinchi however continued to get frustrated because of the cryptic context of being a guardian. Why did Hakune needed to have a human, specifically him? Why mutate him into a human/demon hybrid? In fact, who exactly does she want him to protect her from? Too many questions have been popping up for Juinchi as he took a huge, agitated sigh. With his sudden change of mood from Juinchi, Hakune took notice and see what's bothering her roommate. She insists on asking Juinchi whether her attitude towards him the reason for his continuous cranial soreness was. Hakune took a deep breath and gently tug Juinchi's shoulder to gain his attention.

"Huh what is it Fujiko San?..." He glances directly at her while putting his hand away from his noggin. The way he acted in front of his new roommate is a really bad impression. But for now, he listened in on what Hakune has to say for the moment.

"Tatagashi kun?...Are you upset about the way I acted when you asked me if my teeth are brushed? Is that why you looked upset?" Then her eyes switches to a more concern expression detailing her need to make sure she isn't doing anything to personally hurt his feelings.

Comically Juinchi fell off from his chair and landed face first on the floor. That question of such a minor problem had taken him by surprise as he got up and sheepishly waves his hands in reassurance. "Nooo Nooo! That's not why I was like that don't worry about it haha!" Juinchi babbled. This however did not deter Hakune's concern for what's making him tick at the moment. "You sure? Wait..." Hakune finally got the jist of what's bugging him. "You're trying to make sense of why you've been chosen to be my protector? And the reason for it.

There it is the number one thing he needed to know out of all this. With that he nodded his head to confirm. "It's just...I feel like I want to know why I was the one who has been chosen to deal with an obviously heavy burden like this…You could have found a guy who may be better suited for this than me..." Juinchi pointed out.

"Tatagashi Kun...it's not just anyone...It takes a person of pure heart to deal with the harsh transformation of my pact ritual. Plus, it's a crucial decision hence why I need to find a human who has the best compatibility to handle the change. Because if I failed not only will the human, I failed to make a pact with change into a full demon than a hybrid, but I also lose this ability forever. It's a onetime ritual." That reason is enough to convince Juinchi as he crosses his arms and nodded persuading Hakune to keep on going. The demoness smiles and continued.

"I'm sure you are best qualified for this...If anything if you weren't the one you could have easily brush me off when you first found me. "B-besides..." That long pause from Hakune made Juinchi raise an eyebrow for seeing how awkward she suddenly become before she said something that blew him right at his core. "I can feel you have a rough life; you lost your family in such a tragic way which have left you to fend for yourself from this cruel world. Yet you managed yourself and still become the person you are now." Hakune immediately turn away while her cheeks continue to burn bright red due to how Juinchi blankly stare at her as if he's in some sort of trance.

Though initially shocked that Hakune manage to figure out his past and his losses he can't help but chuckle in a solemn mood "I see...so you actually have the ability to look into my memory when coming into contact with me...after injecting that demon blood correct?"

Her immediate reaction to him for figuring that out so fast really made her entire face go red as protruding steam start to flow out from her pointy ears due to how embarrassing that sounded. She looked away knowing that she has been busted. Juinchi can figure people out, so she might as well just lay out the truth for him from now on, no point in hiding it. "W-well..it's the only way to check whether you are capable to be my guardian...so that's why I did what was necessary..." Still clearly flustered, thus giving Juinchi that triumphant smirk on his face. The demoness pokes both her index fingers shyly shifting her eyes towards the side avoiding herself from taking a glance on her roommate.

.He laughs sheepishly from such a silly but also cute Hakune. He indeed felt the need to add a different approach to the conversation to help make this conversation lively. However, this all changes immediately once Juinchi proceed to ask her the next question regarding where she's from and how she got here on the human world in the first place. "Anyway..I also like to know how you came to the human world in search for your guardian...along with getting some answers about your struggle...I feel like there's more to your story than just having me as your guardian and trying to live a life here..."

This question is definitely a huge emotional thing for Hakune as she does her best to explain. "Very well...yes...I believe you deserve to know...just so you can understand why all this turned the way it did in both our lives." Finally, she places her palm together as she sat up in a more serious posture.

As Hakune took a deep breath getting ready to explain the events that happened with her, Juinchi sat up and listen in on her side of this strange event happening. She informs Juinchi some detail of herself what her life was before being forced into the human world, the torment she endured, and the losses she experienced back home. Juinchi tried to imagine the horrible experience that Hakune explained to get a better picture of it. What he heard gave him chills. The events that had been too dark for a faint heart can handle.

"As you already know about my journey of being here to find a suitable guardian...I came here as a safe haven from my clan's enemies...they are called Demi's a new breed of demons that dwell on violence, mayhem, and blood lust. They also have the ability to adapt to the other living world to co-exist with humans from the human world. As for me and my people, we are bred to be peaceful and accepting to anyone who shares the same value for harmony. Normally a peaceful life living together with humans." She took a deep breath to try and collect her thoughts because she's still affected from her calamitous experience. Juinchi then brought up his encounter with the three demons who attacked him from his workplace.

"That is where I fought three of those from the fight, I had at the restaurant..." Seeing that those three are indeed demi's and it was clear they don't take kindly to peace negotiations when he offers it.

"Yes...and you took care of them at ease...it wouldn't make sense if you were to be defeated by them with your new form. And in all honesty, they are mere weaklings than the ones me and my clan fought for our survival..." Hakune looked down as she places her palms together and rested her forehead on the center.

"Your clan?…" This topic became an interesting thing for Juinchi as he leans slightly forward out of curiosity from Hakune's story listening every detail she presented to him.

Yes...it's called the Shiniku Clan...we are the most powerful and well respected in the demon world...we help keep our home safe from outside threats, we are also responsible for bringing peace to both your kind and mine...and I am the shrine maiden of the clan, or you could say the princess. That is not all, I am the daughter of its leader. My granddfather Koga Fujiko is the one who first stood up against the Demi's because he deemed their need to prove their strength over a physically weaker species like your kind as unforgiving and took a stand. Of course, they saw him as a traitor for defying their view of power. He hated the lives that were taken due to their insatiable need to cause harm and suffering towards humans and demons who reject their ideals."

"So, in a matter of rebellion, your grandfather has founded the Shiniku clan and started its own coup to fight off the Demi's in order to show humans that not all demons are considered blood thirsty. He wanted to prove to the humankind that you and the clan can co-exist with them with equality and mutual understanding towards each other? That is until the Demi's struck again, right?"

"Yes…The war between the Shiniku and Demi's have been such a long battle. I was there to nurse and tend the wounded. My fellow clan members have fought hard from such a long-driven war against them." The next question from Juinchi really broke Hakune as it opened old wounds. "How did the clan fail?" The heartbroken demoness couldn't shake off her loss because it's too fresh in her mind, but she'll continue to explain just vaguely. "Me and my father have fought against the Demi's for two years straight...and...and during that day.. most of our clan members were slain by their overwhelming strength and numbers...my father died keeping me and my only friend alive...then when we got to the portal they got her too!… I only managed to survive through the portal because I had very low reserves of my powers. Still once I got here, I suffered 2nd degree burns." Her hands clenched and obviously shaking after bringing up the most painful memory of her last friend. "When she pushed me towards the portal to the human world, she used her remaining strength to hold off the pursuers...Right before I force myself to leave her behind, she gave me this message as a hope for my safety if any of the Demi's have found some way of going into the human world..."Haku Chan please forget about us. Forget about the clan! What I want from you is for you is to live happily in the human world free from all this violence! Go survive!"

She gave Juinchi the most heartbreaking look he had seen after she mention those same words before she was pushed into the portal. It's visibly clear Hakune is struggling to continue. Then Juinchi places his hand on her shoulder and nodded. "You really don't have to explain anymore...Fujiko San. The more you explain it, the more hurt you get and... even though we met I kinda know how that feels. Hakune sniffs as she nods in acknowledgement as she places herself on Juinchi as she continues. "And you can guess how my life went when I arrived at this world...trying so hard to find the guardian who is willing to protect my life and ensure the existence of the Shiniku clans' legacy."

Feeling awful for her struggles, along with dealing the painful experiences she got when arriving to the human world, Juinchi didn't hesitate to wrap his arms around her as he closes his eyes and give her the most gentle and secured hug for the broken demon girl. With such a warm feeling coming from Juinchi's embrace Hakune looked up to him with tears pouring down her eyes. Juinchi slowly gets a tissue and wipe her tears off from her eyes kindly. Due to her story Juinchi finally made his decision firm and clear. He'll become a full-fledged guardian for Hakune's sake and make this as part of his own life now with sheer determination. While Hakune calmed down, the now self-proclaimed guardian brought back the subject of something they should do today, this is something that can surely cheer her up.

"Fujiko San, I believe it's time we go out to get some clothes for you. Nothing's ever okay if we are feeling down like this. Besides I'll treat you to a more relaxing experience in Tokyo. There are lots of good places to look into." Juinchi smiled widely as he got up and gives her a hand.

With that the former Shiniku Princess accepted his offer with her hand interlocking with his as she dries out whatever remaining tears she has from her eyes. "Okay that may be a good thing to do, sorry about me being such a cry baby... this is not at all how I am when I was at my home world but thank you...for comforting me..." She places her head on his left arm closing her eyes while her cheeks flash bright red.

"Don't apologize Hakune...it's totally fine. Please cheer up, it's alright to let out everything that's holding you back from inside...I have lost both my parents in a tragic event...so I know how you feel. Anyways let's get some clothes for you." He got up and put away the dishes, once he is done, he got ready to go out with Hakune.

"Okay!" Hakune finally let out a small smile after she awaits him, again wearing the same clothes from yesterday the long sleeve shirt, gray torso vest, and a short ankle long black jean.

Once the two are ready, the pair of them made sure they have the things they need for today's day out. After Hakune made sure that the apartment home is locked, she and Juinchi head out to find a close by clothing store. Juinchi checked Doodle Maps and pinpoint the closest one. "Hmm there's one that's about two miles away." Juinchi said.

When he and Hakune are strolling around in public Juinchi happened to hear some places where people he knew worked at and to his confusion, he sees a few eyes catching his attention and whats more he can also hear a bit of gossip related to him and Hakune. Something about dating a demon girl, or how close he got with her, and the biggest one mentioning Juinchi finally having a girlfriend? When that last gossip got brought up the confused Orange haired guardian stared directly at his free hand and finally understood why he's getting all this unneeded attention, he and Hakune are holding hands in public. This made the pair of them blush bright, yet they just went along with it ignoring all that public buzz. Hakune broke the awkward silence once the coast is cleared. "Tatagashi Kun, what was all that about? Was it that odd for them to see us be together like this?" Hakune asked with obviously embarrassed tone behind her voice. Juinchi just sighed and explains. "Some of those people I knew for a long time. You could say they are like old acquaintances I met when I was super young...You know." There was no need to understand when Hakune fully know what he meant. "Ah right, sorry..."

Once the pair of them arrived at the monorail station, Juinchi paid both their passes from a nearby kiosk and waited for their ride. As it arrived, the two decided to sit further back from the train. However, for some odd reason they continue to get more unwanted attention by other patrons. "What is up with these guys?" Juinchi thought as he twitches his left eye out of annoyance. A whispering Hakune had just answered his question the moment his train of thought got brought up. "Tatagashi Kun, I think they aren't used to seeing a human/demon relationship." That got his attention and turned to her with wide eyes. "S-Seriously?" Hakune nodded with a sly grin and wink. This made Juinchi's day all the weirder. "Oh, great now I have a new roommate who I barely knew becoming my girlfriend and she can read minds. Hooray for me..." His misfortune had only risen when he hears Hakune giggle in amusement as she softly elbows his arm.

Their next destination arrived as the train automatically opens the side doors, Juinchi stretches while helping Hakune down the steps from the monorail. "I never expected those people to seriously show that much contempt with an inter-species relationship." Juinchi grumbled seeing how unnecessary that experience was. "It's still clear that humans and demons don't see eye to eye given how much lives were taken from both sides. So, they still hold a tad bit of prejudice towards one another…" Hakune mentioned while she lends out a hand to her now perceived boyfriend. "Let's go Tatagashi Kun! I can't wait to try out some new clothes!"

He looked down at their hands interlocking, there's no doubt both their hands have so much warmth when their hands clasp together. For some reason it's as if they were two lost souls who happened to lose basically everything and the moment, they met it's as if one and the other have filled the void from their broken hearts. Juinchi who lived his life as a parent-less individual when his parents were taken from him by an unknown force at a young age, and Hakune who basically survived from a genocidal massacre from her sworn enemies at her own home world losing everything she loved. Sharing their pain and mending them with newfound meaning into their lives from each other. For a brief walk, they had arrived at the destination that Juinchi pinpointed. "Here it is, Kelz." He turns to Hakune and smiled. "Lets get to it yeah?" Hakune let out a toothy smile and obliges.

After going in the clothing shop. Hakune took her time browsing at the woman's section and found some clothes she liked setting them on the shopping cart. Juinchi on the other hand took his time following her way enjoying her change of mood, being actually happy. It was a wholesome sight for him. For a while they walk along the way to the cash register area after Hakune felt ready to cash out. Juinchi notices Hakune picking out clothes that to Juinchi's surprise is actually quite casual, he remembers that she was a princess to her clan, to his assumption Hakune might want something expensive. Then again who is he to complain about it he did say he'll pay for whatever clothes she wants.

Just before they are about to get out of the store. A girl with long dark brown hair with a body of a super model have intersected their way before she can enter in. To Juinchi he knew full well who this girl is, it's one of his old friend's name Miyuki Kansai. Miyuki turned her attention to her old friend and let out a nostalgic smile in which brought Juinchi to do the same.

"Juinchi! Long time no see!" She waved at him as her flowing long brown hair flies around until it lands on the tip of her back. The moment she bowed she turned to his new acquaintance. "I see you have a new roommate?"

"Hey Miyuki how's it been." Juinchi turned to Hakune and introduce her to Miyuki. "This is Hakune Fujiko." Hakune bows shyly to her boyfriend's old friend. "Hello, my name is Hakune Fujiko, please to meet you Kansai San."

"It's nice to meet you Fujiko San!" She stood in a more elegant way that even other girls who were in view are envious due to Miyuki's status. This also made Hakune raise and eyebrow at their attention to Miyuki. "What's up with them?"

For a minute of ineptitude, Juinchi face palms along with Miyuki chuckling nervously, both feeling overly embarrassed from her response. Hakune is now confused as she stared at both of them. Once Juinchi cough to bring himself back into focus.

"Is something the matter?" She's even more confused than the last minute and took a glance up at Juinchi trying to understand this sudden silent interaction.

"Hakune...umm well you see; Miyuki is a very popular fashion model." He turns to the girls whose been eavesdropping for too long. "Hence why those girls over there really are kinda well you know insecure?"

"Ah I get it! Wow that's quite a feat Miyuki San! You must be very popular!" Hakune's eye sparkle in delight as Juinchi and Miyuki sweat drops from Hakune's sudden fan-girl persona. Miyuki asked Juinchi a question regarding to Hakune. "Juinchi, how did you and Fujiko san meet and what's the relationship between the two of you?" Juinchi dead panned and took a deep breath. "It's a long story Miyuki...And well uh you see we kinda are..." Hakune bluntly says the rest for him. "He and I are a couple, boyfriend and girlfriend." Miyuki eyes widen as she just blankly stared at Juinchi for the longest time. "Y-You actually got yourself an actual girlfriend this soon?!" The grumbling Juinchi nodded. This brought to Hakune's attention. "Huh, what's wrong with him having a girlfriend Kansai San?"

"Eehehe well you see Hakune, Juinchi told me a long time that he isn't ready to have a relationship with a girl until he is fully ready." She giggles as she winked at Juinchi whose having that obvious rain cloud over his head. "But I guess I can tell now hehe. I must say Juinchi you really do have great taste! Hakune looks stunning!" She complimented.

"Oh, thank you Kansai San..." She looked to her side feeling shy and embarrassed by this sudden praise from Juinchi's old friend. "Hehehe anytime Hakune." After a very strange but pleasant encounter with them, she turns her attention to Juinchi. "So Juinchi what brings you here?" He simply answered, "Getting new clothes for her, it seems you're on a day off from work, how's your usual day being a super model Miyuki?"

She left a big sigh and places her hand on her cheeks letting out a frustrated frown "Yeah... to be honest it sucks having to deal with my line of work...keeping myself fit and getting used to dealing with long hours of rehearsing for big performances. Not only that I have to endure the nonstop number of raving fans who wanted an autograph or taking photos with me…But this is what I should have expected being a super model. No job is ever easy." Juinchi laughed "Ha! I bet...I have been dealing all sorts of things while I worked as a noodle chef."

"Oh yeah...the ramen shop. Your cooking is so good even your special vegetarian noodles are quite tasty and a perfect meal to start my day." Miyuki smiled while looking at her watch. "Well it's time for me to get things going now." Feeling like he should keep the conversation brief Juinchi needs to let Miyuki know he'll chat with her more once he has the time, since he has to go straight to the shop to meet with his boss. "Anyways me and Hakune have to get going too. Its great seeing you again Miyuki."

"You too! Bye Hakune." She waves while Hakune does the same with a smile." Once both the pair and Miyuki have gone their separate ways Hakune wraps her arms around Juinchi's free arm. "Now then, lets get going Juinchi!"

For a while after buying the clothes worth of 97000 yen, Juinchi and Hakune looked around the plaza before moving on getting some food. Suddenly Hakune glances up at Juinchi as she gave him a gentle budge at his to get his attention."Yes Hakune? Is there anything you want to say?"

"Even though you can protect me when you're around what if you went to work while I'm alone?" That's a great point. With that question Juinchi does have an answer for her. "Since you mentioned that. My ramen shop is now hiring for servers. I believe that will be a perfect way for you to stick close to me and have the money to provide for yourself and help pay parts of the rent. Tomiya San urged me to get you a job very soon. What do you think?" Hakune smiled brightly and gave joyous smile. "R-Really!? Oh that sounds perfect! How can I ever repay you Juinchi for helping me so much!" She moves much closer to him and places her head on his shoulder trying to show how much she appreciates and being gracious for him for this overwhelming care he shows for her.

"No problem let's go get some noodles at my shop. My friend Kyto Guzai owns the restaurant so he will fill you in on the hiring job position. He might also help you on some service lessons that will aid to provide excellent customer service." Juinchi explained while checking his Doodle map app to set a destination to Inshin Ramen Shop "Okay I'll do my best to do my part." Despite all the showered support she got from Juinchi what she felt inside is a whole different story. "Oh...Juinchi...you don't really have to do all this for me...now I'm feeling worse for not doing anything for you...That's it from now on I'll do my best to take care of you as well! You can count on it!" Little did the demoness knew is that the both of them arrived at the noodle shop.

"Hakune?...Hey Hakune…" He tries to get her attention, once they showed up at their next stop. "H-huh? Oh..what is it Juinchi?" Hakune finally back to her senses. "We're here at Inshin Ramen Shop." Juinchi pointed up at the sign of the restaurant. Hakune is the first to go in the restaurant, once she saw the interior of the ramen shop, she is captivated to how traditional the place is with all the yokai like souvenirs and old-style paintings from the edo period. "Oh my, so decorative and I can smell the food from here! I can't believe you worked here it's so fancy!"

He comes in next and is greeted immediately by his fellow front desk associate worker. "It's been a while, it'll be me and her." Fortunately, there is an extra table enough for two, so he allows Hakune to go first at their provided spot. "After you, Hakune." Allowing her to be the first to sit "Aw thank you." She sat comfortably to the cushioned couch as Juinchi sat at the other side. For a moment Hakune took a quick glance at the selection of the menu. For a while a person who came in with a chef uniform introduced himself to both Hakune and Juinchi. Though he already knew one of them as he greets.

"Hey Juinchi! I see you brought a friend." He took a quick look at his new guest." Kyto noticed. "And I must say she's quite the looker right pal? I never knew you are into demon girls." Juinchi coughs abruptly to try and not let his old friend getting overboard on his jokes. "Yes, this is Hakune my new roommate and...girlfriend. We are here to fill in on the application. You see things have gotten complicated and I do need to have her take a job here." The orange head chef explained to his boss/friend.

"Sure, thing just make sure she filled out all the documentations along with your change of claim on your form since you now have a significant other. I'll have some things ready for her anyways. I can tell, you two look hungry. I'll cook you some food. What do you want?" Kyto monologues. Which somewhat irritated Hakune for a little. "Jeez what's up with him always mentioning about himself?" Hakune rightfully thought. "Home style special Kyto." Juinchi plainly answered without even looking at the menu. "I'll have the same. Making this a special thing." She looks at Juinchi with a sweet smile."Comin right up!" Kyto went to the back to cook up their food being ordered.

For a few more minutes Kyto finally got their food ready as he hands them carefully and nicely. While Juinchi and Hakune started to take their time gorging on the noodles from the bowl. Kyto stood behind the counter wanting to chat with Juinchi.

"Hey Juinchi, I heard you got into one hell of an encounter with a bunch of demons when you left a while back, sorry man...I could have done something about that if I was there. But at least you're okay right?" Kyto crosses his arms as he awaits his friends answer. "Yeah, I'm fine man, no need to get jumpy over that, here I thought you were the uncaring type. "Oh, Ha Ha very funny douch bag!" Kyto scowls but ended with a humorous laugh. "Still, what you did those guys is the funniest thing I ever heard haha!" The orange haired chef rolled his eyes as he continues to talk in defense. "I have been through worse than that." Getting pretty curious Hakune stopped eating and placed her utensils down giving a look of intrigue in her eyes as she stares at Juinchi about what Kyto meant.

"Umm Juinchi what does he mean by that?" She couldn't help but be curious about Kyto saying he wishes to be there to help him. "Well not only that he is the boss of this shop he is also the most skilled swordsman here in Japan. He was able to slice a hard metal ball in half when it was thrown by a pressure machine with a speed of 65 miles per hour, a world record from what I can understand." He explained while Kyto confirms it with pride. "That's right...that is why there are less fights and violence in this shop. Making sure everyone is safe."

"Wow...your friends are amazing Juinchi..." Hakune thought. "They have been through hardships just like mine...Hakune we owe it towards each other for surviving from difficult times and it paid off." Both Juinchi and Kyto gave each other an air fist bump. "Now I can finally say that I am not alone since there are people who work just as hard too." Hakune thought as she continues to enjoy the rest of her noodles.

After a warm and refreshing meal Juinchi paid 1,700 yen of both noodles and drinks. As they arrive back to Juinchi's home he and Hakune are getting ready to sleep. For the first month Hakune had gotten used to working at the Shop and with her hanging out with Juinchi more closely, she and Juinchi became closer than ever. Then on the next night after Juinchi proceeded to rest since his workdays took approximately 10 hours a day. Leaving him to go to bed early on. Hakune then uses her new cell phone which was bought by her own hard-earned money called Miyuki for a favor. "Hey Miyuki...I like to ask for a favor concerning Juinchi..." She bit her bottom lip nervously and blushes intensely.
