Alright everybody's asleep which is a good thing, as Raccoon Girl has been out of comission the last few days after Pledge Day, which the others don't know.
It was a few nights later and Casey was feelijg better waiting for everybody to fall asleep before changing into her Raccoon Girl armour and take off into the night, flying out of her room using her flying-power so was happy feeling better feeling the night-breeze through her hair and fur giggling hearing kits calling her wondering what was wrong landing near an alley seeing Animal Control, getting to work using her powers to scare them off, hearing the kits giggle at the Animal Control guys running off screaming in fright.
"You're welcome, as those guys don't get us, but it's a good thijg they didn't get you guys." Casey said.
She wished that she could be like this around her uncle and the other kids like she was right now, flying off taking care of things before the sun rose and she had to get back to the compound before the adults saw and realised she was Raccoon Girl freaking out despite Shocket knowing her secret, returning at the first rays of sunlight taking a showerbchanging into pyjamas getting back into bed with Bento falling asleep just as the compiund was coming alive.
In the kitchen, Rocket was watching theearly morning news stunned seeing Raccoon Girl kickijg tail, making Lylla impressed wondering who she was, not realising it was Casey and that was why she was alwaystired during the day making Shocket understand hoping that they wouldn't find out, until her cousin revealed her secret which she respected hoping she might tell them hearing her dad wondering who this superheroine was impressed that she was up, seeing her nodding drinkijg coffee knowing what it did.
"Hey it helps me stay awake and since I'm sort of an Avenger, I think I can handle it." Shocket told him.
"Yes you are but coddpffee is for adults, not growing kits." Rocket replied to her switichijg it for juice.
Lylla thought this was a good idea not wanting to see a hyped-up Shocket seeing Rocket agreeing, as she cared about herbut wondered if Casey was alright seeing Shocket noddijg while waiting for her friends to wake up so they coukd have breakfast together like now saying Casey was still sleeping sighijg because she had to cover for her cousin, seeing Linda wonder why her best friend/soulmate did that a lot, unaware of the secret she was keepijg involving Casey.
"Yeah Casey's always tired during the day, and you always cover for her, what's going on?" Linda asked her making her gulp, if she spilled the tea, Casey could get mad which she didn't want to see but Linda was her soulmate guessing it was okay if only she knew dragging her away from the others, making the female duckling curious and her eyes wdienes, after Shocket told her understanding promising to keep the secret.
Plus she saw that Shocket was talking to somebody on her phone, unaware it was Kraklin from Yondu's faction of the Ravagers impressing Linda knowing Kraklin and Rocket were friends and still talked or hung out after Yondu's death, guessing this was something Rocket didn't know about this friendship seeing classes were about to begin seeing Shocket turn off her phone, before going to class wondering where Casey was, seeing Shocket shrug her armoured shoulders not noticing Branchie had snuck out of kindergarten wanting Casey.
Casey noticed that Groot looked nervous along with Carmilla saying that Branchie had snuck out worrying the female-kit, guessing where the female sapling might be remembering the other day when they had been in the playground, goijg outside using her super-speed power seeing Branchie happy seeing her higging her, giggling.
"Hey Branchie, how come you left class, you know it's not recess yet, right?" she said.
"I am groot, I am groot." she said pointing to her making her get it.
"Awww that's awesome you wanna play with me, but we both have class." Casey said.
Groot was impressed by Casey getting Branchie to come back inside, letting the female-kit take Branchie back to class, maybe show her how fun kindergarten was following her as he helped Darci and Jane in the kindergarten room which had been Rocket'sidea as hisbest pal was nuturing and did a great job.
Casey was showing the female sapling how awesome kindergarten was, guessing Branchie was shy around other kids which she could relate to knowing Branchie thought she was the coolest big kid she knew, telling her seeing the female sapling hig her which made her smile seeing Groot agree, that she was very sweet, that might help her make friends.
"Is it okay if I go to power-practice now, Branchie?" Casey said seeing her nod.
"Thanks for that, Branchie has trouble making friends, so yeah." Darci said.
"You're welcome as Branchie is swet." Casey told her leaving.
That early evening, Casey was lying on her bed snuggling Bento as she was exhausted from the day like helping Branchie not escape kindergarteh so much besides power-practice just as Rocket was checking on her knowing Groot had told him how she'd helped Branchie like kindergarten impressing him, rufflijg her hair gently to wake her a little, hearing her ask what was wrong.
"I was just wanting to see if you were okay, as uncle Groot told me how you helped Branchie like kindergarten which is very sweet of you despite nearly missing classes, you look tired did you eat dinner?" he said seeing her nodding.
"Yeah she wanted to play at recess so I had to show her, that kindergarten is awesome, like when I was that little and you helped me like kindergarten too." Casey told him yawning feelihg him hug her, knowing she was becoming a good kit not knowing Shocket had been captured by Ravagers seeing Linda ask him for help.
