Jack then smiled as he looked at Hiccup and leaned on a rock as he was still trying to get over what just happened with the song sequence.
"You can clap now." Jack tells Hiccup who slowly claps as Bruni bounced up and down. "No, no, no. Please. Thank you. Thank you. You're too kind, you can thank me outside."
"So...how does it work?" Hiccup questioned, not understanding.
Jack suddenly went from happy to complete shock at the question. "Wha...? You're joking, right? The whole song was the instructions!" He then puffed beside Hiccup and got him to his feet. "Obviously, you can't dance and listen to what I'm saying. So listen very carefully: Step 1..." He then took the lamp from Hiccup and rubbed it. "Rub the lamp. Then step 2: Say what you want. Step three- there is no step three! See? It's simple! Three wishes, you start with rubbing the lamp and they have to begin with 'I wish'. You got it now?"
"I believe so." Hiccup guesses.
"Also, there are a few quick pro quo's about the whole wishes though." Jack warned him. "I can't make anyone love anybody. I know, it seems counterproductive with the wishing for anything, but it's a rule, can't do nothing about it." He then spun around and was mummified with a rough voice. "Or bring anybody back from the dead." He then turned the bandages into dust and became normal. "Feel free to stop me if I'm moving too fast. And I'm not gonna lie, I usually don't need to do all of this because usually when the guy gets to me, he usually already knows what he wants. And it's usually..." he then grew gigantic and started throwing money at Hiccup with a red background. "Tons of money and power!" He then shrunk back to normal and dusted the fake dust off. "Do us both a favor, do not drink from that cup. There is not enough money and power in the world to quench your thirst. So...what do you want?"
Hiccup thinks for an minute and starts to walk around while swinging the lamp. "Well, I'd have to think about it. If there's only three...hey, why is there only three?"
"I don't know." Jack shrugged. "Who cares?"
"You don't know?" Hiccup asked as he took a seat again. "I thought you were all knowing."
"That's because you don't listen." Jack stated as he created a chart from Hiccup all the way up to higher powers, ending with him and circled it with his staff. "I said I was all powerful! The most powerful being in the universe."
While he kept rambling, Bruni got Hiccup's attention as he gestured to the lamp and Hiccup seems to understand.
"What I don't know, I know I can learn. Out in the sun..." Jack stated, getting irritated. "I know that you can tell, I'm extremely pale." He stated as he sat down next to Jack. "Come on, give us some sun!"
"Okay, Jack, I want you to get us out of here." Hiccup said.
"Boom!" Jack cheered happily as he spun his staff. "He has made his first wish!" He then began to spin the staff around, causing dust and smoke to surround the four of them as he cheered. "Hold onto something!" He warned Hiccup who was confused why, and they vanished.
As the dust cleared, they ended up outside in the real world, far away from the cave. Toothless panted happy to be out of the cave and began to fly around the land.
"Man, look at this world. It's so...big!" Jack stated with a sigh as he looked around. "I mean, inside the lamp, everything is just brass, brass, brass! Oh, is that copper? Nope! Brass!" He stated as a sigh as he felt the sun on his face. "It's sorta the big problem of the genie gig. You're allowed phenomenal cosmic powers! But itty-bitty living space." He commented as he gestured to the world and the lamp.
"So is this what's magical, or is it you?" Hiccup asked as he raised the lamp and gestured to Jack to explain his point.
"Meh, it's pretty much sorta a package deal." Jack guessed as he snapped his fingers and the two were slingshot backwards into a shaded area that Jack created and were now lounging around on some chairs.
"Can you warn me before you do that?" Hiccup pleaded as Bruni leaped into a bucket of water Jack created.
"You'll get used to it." Jack promised as he took his drink and laid back.
"Okay." Hiccup guessed, nothing else he can really say. "So, do I have to make all my wishes here? I mean, if I take you back to Arendelle, won't-"
"Oh, no, no, don't worry." Jack promised as he stood back up. "I can look normal." He then snapped his fingers and he suddenly had brown hair, brown eyes, and fair skin. His clothing now consisted of a white V-neck undershirt with a brown vest and brown trousers, and a brown poncho to finish it off, but still barefoot.
"Why are you still barefoot?" Hiccup questioned, confused why he refuses to wear shoes.
"Why do you need shoes?" Jack retaliated as he sat down. "I don't get things stuck in my toes. And I like to feel the world on my toes. It relaxes me."
"Okay." Hiccup guesses as Jack lies back down and picks from a branch of grapes he made appear.
"So what do you wanna wish for?" Jack asked.
"I...I haven't really thought about it." Hiccup answers before wonders something. "What would you wish for?"
Jack looked surprised as he chewed and swallowed the grape. "Nobody's actually asked me that before." He sighed and lied back. "It's an easy answer though. I wish to be free."
"You're a prisoner?" Hiccup asks.
"I've been passed down from one master to the next, Buddy." Jack confesses. "They all wish for things and pass me around, until I ended up at that cave. But if I was free, I wouldn't have to go..." he suddenly appeared next to Hiccup. "What do you need?" He then proofed again and came closer to Hiccup. "What do you need?" He then came even closer to Hiccup, to the point where it was uncomfortable. "What do you need!?" He then pooped back to his chair and sighed.
"Why don't you just set yourself free?" Hiccup was curious to know.
Jack then laughed as he looked down to Toothless who was playing in the sand. "Toothless! Did you hear this guy? Why don't I set myself free?" Toothless then burst out laughing and fell on his back. "The only way a genie can be freed is if the owner of the lamp uses his wishes to set him free. And you can easily guess how many times that's happened."
Hiccup then felt sorry for this guy and stood up with a determined face. "I'll do it. I'll set you free."
"Yeah, right." Jack scoffed.
"Why not? I have three wishes, remember?" Hiccup stated.
"Actually, you have two. You used one to get out of the cave." Jack reminded him.
"Did I?" Hiccup asked. "Because I didn't exactly wishing to be out of the cave."
Jack then suddenly froze and wondered how he missed that. "Okay, let's scroll right back up, shall we?" He asked and turned to the reader. "Flashback!"
"Oh!" Jack cried as he read that. "I can't believe I missed that. But hey, I've been trapped in a lamp for years, give me a break."
"I'm keeping my eye on you." Jack promised as he looked at Bruni. "And no more freebies." He stated to Hiccup.
"Fair enough." Hiccup guessed. "But at least I can use the last one to set you free."
Jack sighed and saw he was determined, but this wasn't the first he's heard it. "Here's the thing about wishes...the more you have, the more you want."
"That's not who I am." Hiccup stated.
"We'll see." Jack supposed.
"But there is one thing that comes to mind..." Hiccup said as he stared off into the distance, thinking of his Princess.
"Oh! I know that look!" Jack said as he leaned down on the table between the two chairs. "Who is she!? Who's the girl?"
"She's a Princess." Hiccup tells her. "Like an actual Princess."
"Well, remember, I can't make anyone fall in love." Jack warned him.
"No, no. I mean, we...we had a connection." Hiccup explains the best he could.
"Did they, really?" Jack asked as he looked towards Bruni who offered a smile as he licked his left eye. "Why couldn't you've been a monkey? Out of all the changes made, you had to be the animal sidekick in this story? I'd prefer that chicken from Moana."
"She is smart, beautiful, and so kind." Hiccup listed the details of Elsa he loved and ignored the statement Jack made.
"Aw." Jack sighed as he laid down on his staff.
"But she's the Princess. So she can only..." Hiccup sighed when he suddenly got an idea and looked to Jack. "Wait a second. Can you make me a prince?"
Jack then suddenly went back into his seat and laid back. "There's a lot of gray area in make me a prince." He warned him as he snapped his fingers and made a prince appear in front of them. "I could just make you a prince."
"Oh, definitely not." Hiccup shook his hands negatively.
"Yeah, you'd be stuck with this guy for the rest of your life." Jack joked as he gestured to the guy. "Everyone always thinks we genies twist your wishes, no, we give you exactly what you ask for." He then pointed towards Hiccup sternly. "You wishers are the ones making the issues. I had a guy called Saeed the Snake. Wanna know what he wished for? He wished to be irresistible to all women. And that wish was good for about 90 seconds. Then there was Whalid the Wiched, he wished to hold the power of the universe in his hands. Sticky Thief Sharif wished that anything he touched tuned to gold. So, yeah, he for what he wished...and he ended up turning to gold."
"What?" Hiccup asked in shock.
"One clap, gone forever." Jack explained as he clapped his hands together and even turned himself over with gold to demonstrate. "The moral of the stories be specific with your words. Be clear of what it is you want."
"Got it." Hiccup promised.
"But I don't get it, if she already likes you, why do you want to change?" Jack questioned him.
"Like I said, she's a Princess, so she has to marry a prince." Hiccup explains.
"I just wanna go home, guys." The prince Jack made appear stated before Jack waved his hand and he vanished.
"Okay. I can do that." Jack promised as he stood up. "And this time, let's make it official."
Hiccup understood and picked up the lamp and began to rub it. "Jack...I wish...to become...a prince." He said and closed his eyes.
"Let's do this!" Jack said as he suddenly stretched their tent into a catapult.
"What are you doing?" Hiccup asked as he and the others were slingshot across the threshold with them.
They kept flying until they reached a few miles from Arendelle where they just landed, and the entire tent vanished and the four of them just landed in a clear opening.
"Getting better, right?" Jack asked Hiccup.
"Yeah, I'm getting used to it." Hiccup supposed.
Jack then quickly got to work on Hiccup and saw the first thing to change was his outfit. "Obviously, the homeless man look isn't gonna work out for is. Work with me here."
Jack then created an outfit consisting of mostly of cream, gold, white, and purple. The outfit's appearance, itself consisting of a large turban (with what appears to resemble neck shade coming down on opposite sides) complete with a ruby gem and bluish, deep purple feather, cream undergarments, and a matching top, with a cape flowing down, just below his calves.
"Nah, too overdone." Jack commented as he tried to figure out what to give him. "Come on, Jack, gotta think bigger!" He then looked over to Toothless who was scratching himself and was shedding. "Wait! That's it!" He suddenly got back to work and gave Hiccup a new look.
His outfit now consists of a basic green tunic, leather pants, and padding, all covered by a type of leather armor plating along his shoulders and upper chest, along with arm brackets, all of it made completely out of dragon scales.
"Oh! That's it! I'm back!" Jack cheered as he made and made a mirror appear in front of them. "What do you think?"
Hiccup looked impressed as he looked over his outfit and is impressed. "I like it. I think it's me."
"Technically, it's me." Jack stated as he leaned his left elbow. "I did the work; you just made a wish."
"But with my face, won't people be able to recognize it's me?" Hiccup questioned.
"Nobody will be able to recognize you. That's how it works. People see what they want to see." Jack explains to him.
"Right, okay." Hiccup guessed as he looked over himself in the mirror. "And...who are they seeing exactly?"
"Uh...Prince Hicry?" Jack guessed.
"Prince Hicry?" Hiccup asked, thinking that's ridiculous, but will have to do. "From?"
"Duh! From..." Jack had to think quick and went with the first thing that came to mind. "Uhb-ub-whah."
"A-bub-wha?" Hiccup asked.
"You're not listening." Jack stated. "Ababwa."
"Is that even a real place?" Hiccup questioned.
"Yeah, everyone's been there. Everyone's heard of it. Surprised you haven't." Jack said jokingly before thinking of what else he needs. "Now what we need is a stylized entrance."
"We have a dragon, don't we?" Hiccup asked as he looked to Toothless who was licking his armpits.
"Yeah, but he's more of a grand finale than an opening." Jack stated as he began to eye Bruni who suddenly became afraid and started to walk away. "Oh, don't you love a moon walking salamander?" he asked and then snapped his fingers, causing Bruni to suddenly float and transform into a camel. "Meh, too obvious." He then snapped his fingers again and Bruni was turned into a horse. "Nah, already done. We need something...bigger. Wait! Bigger!" He then snapped his fingers and Bruni began to grow a dozen times in size before his face grew out and revealed to have turned into an elephant.
Bruni looked over himself looked very confused as he looked over his new body.
"Don't worry, Bruni, it'll be just for a moment." Jack promises.
"Now that's incredible!" Hiccup stated with a smile and looked at himself again. "Prince Hicry. Of Ababwa."
"And now...it's time for your entourage." Jack said as he began to spin his staff again, making Hiccup confused as to what he means.
"What?" Hiccup asked when he saw the swarm of smoke coming at them all.
